Why is it that Terrans NEVER seem to build Vikings to kill Mutalisks, and even to kill Overlords and try to supplyblock the Zerg? I mean surely using a dedicated Anti-air unit against air units makes sense??

Not to mention these things can land, transform, and shoot at ground targets. Or am I just being an armcher general here?

@Grubnar You are right, vikings are designed as a anti-air fighter but it's mainly designed to destroy armored targets with huge range, therefore they are better vs big targets such as collosi and brood lords, mutas are fast and therefor is the vikings' range not a huge advantage (unlike phoenixes which are faster and have better range than mutas which with micro can crush them). Also vikings that land don't do all that much damage. Good for harrassment though.

For instance, I don't even own starcraft but I love watching it because it is presented in a way that doesn't confuse me and make me feel stupid.

@Feylihn I agree Day9 is the better player therefor his insight of the game is better than TBs. However, i would not say he "is not that great of a caster." I think TB is a great caster giving a new sense of excitement and engagement to the audience, something many commentators cant do. While Day9 is great and all he is more like an exciting documentary while TB is like more an action movie (Take both in moderation and you will be happier). Think of TB as the John Madden of Starcraft Commentary.
