  • The British parliament is so much more fun to watch.

  • BORING

  • Lets see!? Some kid working at Mc Donald's taking care of his sick Grandfather fails to pay an insurance premium and ends up in jail? Duuuuhhh, sounds more like, chains for America to me....

  • @somme

Wait till you see all the no saying people that tell em to just go screw when the fools try to collect from them..

I'll be watchin those schoolteachers & cops getting whacked by the Irs for lapsing in coverage..in Hi-Def no doubt...

    I pity the fools...

  • Keep going! I would like to see every no saying republican senator to vote against heath care? I cant wait for the next Election.

  • It would have been really nice if the House and Senate hadn't done all this behind closed doors--like Obama promised wouldn't happen during the campaign. Remember that? remember how he said the drafting of these bills would be broadcasted live on C-Span? Remember how he said the American people would be included every step of the way? No wonder his approval numbers are dropping like a stone. My friends who voted for him, can't even stand to look at him now.

  • So now we know. Change=more takes, more welfare, more deficits, and more corruption. thanks a lot Mr. president.

  • I did my own survey on Health Insurance..One you can do with your friends & neighbors..

Ask them what they paid for health care for themselves & families in past ten years-rounded figures by thousands..

You will typically find that many had some catastrophic event that cost the ""SYSTEM" the TAXPAYER up to or well over $100,000 at least one or more times/event..Compare the IN-GO dollars to OUT-GO & you will see a ratio of usually over 1 :to 100 or 1: to 200 that indicates unsustainability.

  • Hey hobo, I understand your situation..

But I disagree with your take on it...The real reason you Have Employment "which I assume is more important than health care' presently for you, is because YOU DON'T have health care provided by your employer..

If you now force a small businessman to take on that albatross, since money does not grow on trees, your employer will become your EX-employer..

People that NEED Insurance TO PAY for their med problems, look for insurance like wolves to raodkill.

  • Yeah, but how often is the AP wrong? They seem to be some type of standard & I use em as part of but not exclusively for my info gathering..

One thing you do know is the 3000 page HC BIll is a bill that takes every aspect of your life & taxes & regulates it--at your request....

There are those that like that idea cuz their lives are that bad,,they look to this as help..

They're not going to see this coming.

The protesters have their own plans that don't include pelosi, reid or the blamadon.

  • I love how AP stories in newspapers frequently have no author listed. They just say AP....like that gives it infinite credibility.

For all we know it's written by Michael Moore.

It would at least be nice to know if the fawning journalist has a history of being politically lopsided as we are reading it.

Not that we get our news from the AP anymore anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. Nevermind.

  • The AP doesn't matter anymore, and neither does MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, or CNN, or The New York Times. Everyone knows they lean to the extreme left, which is why Fox is destroying them all.

  • Forced users are all planning to ramp up doctor visits to glut the doctor offices thoughout the US so Nobody gets any health care...

It's one of Many Plans the Boycotters of HC plan have up their sleeves...

  • Hey Posense: Where is the option in public option?

The 2300 pg document READS MANDATE or GO TO JAIL!

    There is no option...

How bout this option::: How about paying my $500,000 medical bill ""OR"" my neighbors $500,000 bill...How stupid...

What is wrong is not addressed in the 2300 pagews of Crap! Like Tort Reform & Immigration deportation & denial of Hi Value services....Wake up..I will not pay for you no matter what!!

    Get used to it...

Forced users will delib ramp up doctor visits..

  • @hadenufnow Man, you are So Correct! and thanks for speaking up. No average person believes that the fine print of 2300pgs is ever going to be good for American freedoms. If it is so simple, make it 14pgs. How about .... no bill should be longer than the Constitution.

  • hadenufnow--I couldn't have said it better myself. I don't expect others to pay my way in life, and I'm not paying theirs. 2010 is going to be a very good year for the American people, my friend. These Democrats days are numbered.

  • Health Care. This is not a complicated issue. Clearly, first of all, our current system is not working. Second, the proposal from the Obama Administration creates a separate goverment system, to force competitive prices and lower the cost of health care. No, this is not socialism. Health care is the most profitable industry, and forcing them to lower prices will not cause bankruptcy. This program will not take over health care, and it is COMPLETELY optional. I see no reason to be apposed.

  • With Auto Ins, high risk policy holders can be "removed" and have licenses "revoked"..to ensure your insurance "pool" is devoid of the Tens of Thousands of Dollars your premiums would suffer if it were allowed to keep such un-insurables in the system...

This "IS" the grandest lie ever perpetrated on the public by a president-community organizer...""that there is similarity between health care ins & auto ins...That's a pack of lies....

  • Here we are...so close; Closer than we have ever been in history. Do we really have to depend on Republicans to put this across? If we do, all of the work will have been for nothing. Because they aren't going to risk alienating their best contributors: Big pharmacy and big insurance. And that goes for a few of the Dem's too. If we just this time have the guts to stand up for what is decent and do something that really helps people. So close...

  • Why are the rebulicans so againt this?

  • They are against it because they are in the pockets of the insurance and pharmaceutical industries. This plan may take a few nickels out of their billion dollar profits. It might mean selling a medication that costs 25 cents to make for $8.00 instead of $10.00. It might mean that they really have to give a damn about the people they claim to serve. It might mean they can't kick people out of their insurance plans because they have the nerve to get sick. It might mean decency has a chance.

  • Beacause taxes will fly up.

And call me cruel, but why should we have to pay for other people? I mean some people may genuinely need welfare or free healthcare. But you can't say people aren't abusing it.

  • If you try to force a true Constitutionalist or conservative to pay for a program which is unconstitutional, illegal and morally bankrupt, what you will end up with is the money people will leave the country, or they will ramp up their visits to every known doctor and medical service known to man to drive this thing home right up the asses of the fools that needed it in the first place to get a brain transplant....

  • How does this guy keep getting reelected?

  • Criminalizing people who choose to opt out and take care of their own health care is insane. And using the IRS to enforce it is immoral.

  • I support this bill. Give them hell, Harry! That a boy!

I want access to the same health insurance McConnell has. I want him to have to crawl before his corporate masters with the word "FAIL" stamped on his greasy forehead.

  • No kidding, Reid is such a horrible and out of touch representative. There are actually a lot of democratic politicians who are sooo stupid to support such a radical bill. If they want to start out by making healthcare ACTUALLY cheaper, maybe they should look at the GOP bill.

  • People of Nevada, please get rid of this D0uche bag..

  • I believe there are more instances of the freedom of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power than by violent and sudden unsurpation. - James Madison

  • Arkansas. We can feed, & clothes the world, with huge minerals deposits, & diamonds. Arkansans standard of living would increase if it wasnt for the sucking sound from of D.C.. In the last Presidential Election 2 of the 4 last candidates lived in the Arkansas' Governor's Mansion (Clinton & Huckabee) , & then President Clinton. Others: Albert Pike, Rockefellers, Wessons, Waltons, Tysons, Hunts, etc. are from here. Now Sen. Lincoln, & Sen. Pryor of AR are again holding the cards.

  • I find it funny that Mitch Mcconell is worried about govt health care and is defending Medicare system. Hey Mitch, medicare is govt run health care system, and it working fine. If you're against govt health care system, you should also oppose Medicare, Medicaid, the VA system, among hosts of other govt subsidized programs.

  • @samk2785, So you say you're 29 years old. Can you get Medicare or Medicaid? Are you a Veteran that can you get into the VA system? Seems you totally missed the point. Now Medicare and Medicaid are both going broke. Just imagine if everyone was on a Medicare or Medicaid government type system.

  • So this argument is over income when if these bills would pass the regular guys income will be reduced by 20% to pay for this massive government take over. Ditch these bills and start from scratch. Do the right thing that will actually drive cost down not up as these proposed bill will do.

  • There are virtually no unbiased polls to gauge the public's opinion on healthcare reform or any other topic. McConnell's assertion that he's seen none, heard of none which are pro-healthcare reform and/or for the public option and/or for starting over... are just so many words out of Republican talking points.

No such opposition exists except among willfully ignorant people feeding on the hate-based, insurance industry-funded partisans on the right.

  • The health care "debate" ... also known as Democrats trying to get something done and Republicans whining and crying like 3 year olds.

  • Something done? The problem is what they are getting done, not that they are trying to get something done.

  • pass this bill!, i want some fucking heathcare plz

  • You want fuckin healthcare but have YOU eanred it? I bet NOT!

  • Can you pay for it?

  • i'm a college student all my money goes to that and rent, i work 39hrs a week but my job wont give me the extra hour so they wont have to pay for my insurance

  • The good news, is that under these current bills, you will either have to buy insurance, or go to jail. Isn't that wonderful! Hope and change! :)

    Japan is good.

  • Congress does not understand insurance, healthcare or economics-they have proved this time and time again. What does it matter what an insurance ceo makes a year? How irrelevant! Only free market reforms would work. Understand that healthcare is a service, and no service is a right. We've had government involved in healthcare for 40 years, look at it! Everyone is unhappy! So the solution is more bureaucracy? Preposterous!

  • Well said. Most people don't realize that our high cost is due to government involvment in healthcare. They already set the prices for 1/2 the healthcare sector directly and the other indirectly. They have passed the regulations and mandates that have cut competiton and benefited the themselves and the industry at the consumers expence. We have private healthcare but private isn't free market when Government controls all the consumption and production.

  • There is no health are crisis -- people aren't dying in the streets for want of a doctor or hospital. The real crisis is unemployment and the falling value of the dollar! I can not wait to see the look in all those young adults faces, yes those who voted for Mr. Obama, when they are told they must buy insurance, like it or not... or in all those people's faces who have great health insurance now, when they are told they would have to pay tax on those benefits.

  • MrSTANDFORAMERICA

Your narrow minded. If you look back at recent history avg. salary decreased while everything increased especially health insurance premium.

We already have social programs retard, should we stop all social services? If you say yes then pay your own roads, police, fire, local library, teachers, medicare/medicad, military (defense) . So shut the FUCK UP

  • salary decreased??? I have gone from $2 an hour to $25 an hour, and you call that a decreased.

Ah another young one. You're nut to think you federal withholding tax sent to the fedreal government pay one penny to out local own roads, police, fire, local library, teachers. not one penny of it made it to our city.

so you STFU punk ass kid.

  • Your a dumb ass.

Those are local services voted by the local people. Yes or no on taxes to fund those services

NOT NATIONAL YOU FUCKING DUMB ASS.

If you want socialize health care in your fucking state, then keep it in your state, don't drag the fucking rest of us down.

Let the people who don't go elsewhere.

  • USB06 You really have shown your ignorance here. Just tuck your tail and go do some learning before running your mouth next time.

  • Mitch Mcconell is such a moron. No surprise he is from Kentucky.

  • STOP THIS SHIT NOW

  • speak up Harry and stop speaking in that soft, weak, docile voice.

  • I don't care if you gotta meet on Sunday.

    GET'ER DONE!

  • The only people (i noticed) who want to GET'ER DONE are either lazy shits who don't want to actually earn their own way OR rich fuckers wanting to be politically correct (ie comedians, actors, etc.) who none of this shit would really affect them anyway.

  • mitch mcconnell & his family are ALREADY on govt healthcare..... lucky them. they can go to the docs w/o worrying about the bills involving visitations, prescriptions, lab tests, x-rays, ambulance, specialists, etc.. he will NEVER have to declare bankruptcy over medical bills, though that's the major cause of bankruptcy by us REGULAR FOLKS, cuz we dont have that GOLD-GILDED GOVT INS. THAT HE HAS. then the repubs made it harder for us REGULAR FOLKS to declare bankruptcy. way to go, mcconnell.

  • Reid is like Obama, both are on a mission to destroy the United States.

  • I can't stand Republicans keep lying

sen: Mitch whatever his name is. The American people voted for Obama to overhaul the care health crises and stop greed of the insurance companies.

so which American people does he talking about? I can't stand this politician lying. who knows maybe both side playing game.

  • @OutlawzAKA You have so many typos in here, what a disgrace. You sound like an absolute moron.

  • This guy is an idiot. 60% of Americans want a public option as well as the bill.

Its just his district of redneck morons that dont seem to get it. Too busy trying to defeat the "muslim nig" they cant see that this bill will help their inbred toothless asses also.

  • Do Americans need foreign aid in deciding on this issue. May be Indians or Chinese can help, with more than a billion population in each country...

  • Sen. McConnell is so correct. If they ignore and put this pathetic bill into play, their asses will be out looking for a job. Including their golden boy Hussein.

  • You are a racist!

  • Believe me child, that will be your best rebutle ever. Even if it's outplayed and outdated. However, if being a racist is what it takes to stand up against evil...so be it.

  • You've got a real head problem young lady.

  • You see all you come back with, is that I have a problems. Tell me where I am wrong. Of course you can't. Tell me where I'm a racist. That little game of yours is just a cop out. Go play some dominos and leave politics to the big boys, caveman.

  • AP used to be a reliable news source shared by newspapers and media. This video and the comments below are disgusting trivia, misleading and less than informative. AP! Wake up and take a shower!

  • This "refrom" is the latest gov. ponzi scheme. Taxes for years, but no benefits until 2012(?). It will be unsustainable in years to come. And politicians behind scenes saying this is the way to single payer, then turning around and telling us we'll have choice. Stop LYING.

  • killing the elderly. welcome to america, you work your ass off for your whole life, then the government takes away your money and decides how to spend it.

  • There are no polls where the majority of American's want anything to do with this government interference in our health care. And absolutely NO public option!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • phibes2: absolutely not true, all polls on the contrary have showed Americans do want a public option (52% against 36% according to the latest Ipsos poll; the rating around 52-54% has been steady since summer).

  • According to Rasmussen, Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters nationwide say guaranteeing that no one is forced to change their health insurance coverage is a higher priority than giving consumers the choice of a "public option" health insurance company.

  • phibes2: Ipsos poll showed people would favor "Legislation to permit the creation of insurance co-operatives NOT run by the government" at 57% Favor vs 31% opposed. The public option may gain majority, but there is a clear "not run by government" preference, no deny of that. Your 63% from Rasmussen is factual (thank you).Same poll:53% of the insured voters also say they would change their plan if the bill passes as 54% says health care need changes. Why some claim it aren't true is beyond me.

  • phibes2: The other thing is that there is nothing in the bill forcing people to change their coverage ... that is why it is called an "option".

  • public option doesn't directly compete with existing health insurance companies.

existing health insurance companies are bound by state line. The government insurance company called the public option will be allowed to be sold in all 57 states. Yes obama's 57. There are 7 other countries that will be allowed to sign on to the public option. Mostly little tiny insland countries.

  • You said, "However, if being a racist is what it takes to stand up against evil..so be it."

I can see you have a selective memory, you aren't very bright are you? You do not fight evil with evil! You racist!

  • yes there is, in the bill it says it's nadated that you have to have healthcare insurance. it all so says that if you do loose your coverage can no longer use a private plan. fORCING everyone on to the governmnet ran public option plan.

this is in the bill. do go by some dink congressman or senate on the floor to say it isn't, they are like obama, a liar.

  • MrSTAND: Please let me know where it is written in the bill that people will be forced on the government run plan. Then, we will talk again. The number of claims about this bill which have no foundation is flabbergasting. I even so someone claiming that homeless (zero income) will be forced to pay tax because they cannot afford HC [apparently, 2.5% x 0 taxable income != 0 for some]. Let's see what stretch you are on ...

  • Holy shit, what rock have you been hinding under.

everyone is taxed for this government ran healthcare bill. Everyone, either direct or where they hire on at. Then if a company feels it's cheaper to pay the $2500 per person fine than the $12,000 a year plan they are on now. Companies across the nation will tell all their employees, "hop on the public option". Thta's the only plan you can take from job to job. you can't take private plans from job to job.

  • (cont) if you are no a private plan and go to another job and are dropped, you can't (by this bill) go to any other private plan,

Damn kid that is forced all day long.

  • MrStand: are you or are you not able to cite the section in the Bill supporting your statement? If not, I am not interested in your inflammatory statements. If so, state it without your own interpretation.

  • Why? even if I show you you'll do just like every kids so far and say, "it's not wording the same way you did".

And that's because I put it in laymens terms. there are many othet words used in these bill to mean "tax, taxs". it can be "awards grants".

You have to read the bill like a bureaucrat. plus it helps to be in a union(as I am) and be told by your union management all the union companies will get this tax break.

    but try around pages 149/150.

  • MrSTAND: I am a bit confused on whether or not a follow-up is at all required as you mix hints and indications of answer to my question with your usual pejorative statements (probably in your mind, you feel you are coming out of this strategy stronger right?). Page 149 (sec 260) / 150 (sec 262) say little about tax to everyone (sorry but you probably miss-quoted the page). Are you referring to section 2793? sec 59c? sec 4061? All of the above?None of the above?

  • Now you know what I'm talking about.

you didn't read it like a bureaucrat.

As bureaucrat does not say "swine flu" any more they say "H1N1".

The doe suse the word tax, they now will say fine, fee, donation.

Now only do you have to read it like a bureaucrat, you have to read it like a liberal bureaucrat.

Now go back and find it,post it, and I'll tell you if you are starting to learn to read like a liberal bureaucrat.

  • MrSTAND: Again you haven't been able to cite parts of the bill supporting your statements. While it may work with some to randomly mention pages which are unrelated to your claim and further, wave indicators and reference sent to you (specific and factual), it may not work with all and certainly, you exhausted my patience. The only thing you have demonstrated throughout the exchange is proficiency in inflammatory language, condescending statements. This is waste of our time and not civilized.

  • Being you spend most your time in atheist videos, bet you didn't know that in the bill. All union companies are tax and fine exempt. just because they are union.

Now this is one way for the unions to pick the public opion plan, not have to pay for it and build their membership up from other companies joining the union for that Tax Exemption.

Very noticed how the unions are puch this socialized healthcare plan so hard.

    Now you know why.

  • skinnym974 here is a true "PUBLIC OPTION", if I or anyone else wants the option to not have healthcare insurance that is an option. to say everyone has to have HC ins by the federal government is communism.

So you're just another communist I see.

  • MrSTAND: your arguments and provocations make no sens. If you drive a car, you are mandated to have a car insurance. Doe this mean the US is already a communist country?? You are also mandated to pay taxes. Mandatory != communism (scoop for you apparently).

Also, I was not aware we were back into the McCarthy era in the US but had the impression people were proud of their freedom of speech. I see I may have been wrong ... if we follow your line of thoughts.

  • so you want to compare healthcare to car insurance.

    so lets.

car insurance, mandated by the states, not tax at all.

Obamacare, everyone taxed either direct or through their employors. Mandated by thge federal goverment, states are over ruled by the federal government, state must shit can their states constitution's.

Healthcare covers only me and the damage I cause to me.

Law on cars, covers only someone else.

  • MrSTAND: you have missed the issue entirely as well. HealthCare does not affect you only - the cost on ALL at the end and raise cost of insurance. This is done simply by individuals lining up into the emergency room because they had no regular care but a dramatic health failure. At the end, we all pay.

  • skinny: you must be a very illogical person. In this country I have the right to CHOOSE to buy a car or NOT; therefore whether I have car insurance or NOT! If this passes, you, nor I, or anyone else will have the right to CHOOSE to buy health insurance; you will be MANDATED by our gov to pay for this insurance or be fined / jailed or both!! This IS in the bill - if you file income taxes you will be required to provide proof on your return that you have insurance or face penalties! SOCIALISM!!!!

  • rabgab: Actually, you may have a choice of buying a car or not but you have no choice of paying your taxes or not. The point was that somewhat, the association between mandatory and socialism was made. I find THAT argument illogical myself as there are plenty of things which are mandatory and not derived from socialism. But I do not deny that taxable incomes will be mandated by the bill to have insurance or pay a tax of 2.5% over the taxable income.

  • It depends on how the question is asked. When the public is asked to choose whether they prefer to keep their private health insurance or go with a public option, almost no one chooses the public option. If asked if they would like to have a choice and nothing will change in their life, then most approve of the public option.

When it's pointed out the fact that most companies will pay the 8% penalty and throw all their employees into the public option then no one supports it.

  • Wrong, it's that most americans want some form of healthcare reform not public option. nor a mandate to havig healthcare nor be taxed for it nor be fined if one doesn't want healthcare.

Public Option just means government owned and ran.

  • Didn't we go over this public option the last time we talked? Remember how I said three providers cover most of the country - and you said that's because the Democrats won't allow competition? Then we talked about how Obama wants to open up the country to all providers to promote competition? A Gov, option isn't for the Gov to take over healthcare - it's to promote competition with a pool of other providers. And what did the Repubs say - NO! But you still won't change your way of thinking.

  • Only 3 for your state, but over 2000 nation wide. Why is that? oh yeah the Dem's need to screw the American people over and allow just who they want (all of 3 providers) on their so called exchange and the government insurance company called the public option.

The only thing that will promote competition is open state lines and you and obama know this. This bill want even be in crongress if the Dem's won't block it everytime it's brough up. It's the only way to have government ran heathcare.

  • Only 3 for your state? No! 3 that cover most of the country. Didn't you listen to that senate hearing? They've got a lock on the whole frigging country.

  • And what's with the Republicans trying to kill an insurance program for old and disabled people when the CBO said the program was sound for 75 years? The bill even says the money people pay in can't be used for other Gov shit. Why! And why are the Republicans trying to keep generic drugs from being sold? There was only one Republican that didn't vote against the bill. Maybe you could explain this shit to me.

  • Doesn't everyone pay a special Social Security tax? It's deducted from our paychecks but it's not spent on Social Security. It's put into the general fund and spent on other programs. Social Security is full of IOU's and going bankrupt. Same goes for Medicare and Medicaid. Both have special taxes and both are going bankrupt.

Perhaps it would be best to fix the entitlement programs we currently have in place before embarking on a new one.

  • You know why SHIT like SS is broke - because they gave the surplus away in tax cuts for the rich. Back in the 80's congress asked Americans to start paying more into SS than the system would pay out so the baby-boomers would be able to retire and they gave away the surplus to the rich in tax cuts. Now the fuckers are trying to screw us some more. We paid for our retirement. Let them foot the bill now.

  • medicare covers the old and disabled people. the dem's are the ones cutting it out. Stealing $400 billion from the funding of medicare to shut it down.

  • And the insurance program I'm talking about is over and above Medicare. With Medicare you have to exhaust your savings before you can get any kind of extended home care. That's what this insurance is for,. And people pay into all their lives to get it. And if the CBO says it's sound for 75 years - why vote against it? And the money they're taking from Medicare is money being wasted. The people aren't gonna stand for any half-ass care. These fuckers will be voted out of office in a heart beat.

  • Are you crazy? You think Obama only wants 3 providers on this exchange? Where the hell do you get this from? You just make shit up. And by the way - that 400 billion from Medicare is spread out over 10 years. That's only 40 Bil a year. Hardly enough to ration care. And what about the generic drugs the Republicans are trying to keep from being sold?

  • guess you don'r watch the senate hearing at all. All you do is hang out on socialst websire and report back here on YT.

Turn you TV off of the cartoon network and start watching what is going on.

  • I'll tell ya - you should get your facts straight before calling people a sucker. I've put you in your place every fucking time we've talked - and I'm gonna do it again this time. Watch!

  • Hum fuzzy math. The $400billion cut medicare don't start till 2015, and that's for 10 years. it's more than $40billion. So it's more like $80 billion for 5 years.

It just shows how bad these Dem have to lie to get their point acoss. And being young and dumb fell for it hook, line and sinker.

That a marks-o-Lot and write SUCKER on your forehead to remind you every morning when you wakeup.

  • What the fuck are you talking about? Where the hell do you get this 80 billion for 5 years?

  • As for the generic drugs, the Rep's are trying to block the Dem from only allowing generic drugs to be use in America.

Now I know your not watching the debates at all.

  • And on the generic drugs - you're full of shit. How can you only use generic drugs when the drug company that made the drug has the patent on it? You're the one that's not watching the debates. You're a friggin moron. The drug company with the patent is paying the generic companies not to market the drug - you fucking moron. That kills competition. And the Republicans like that just fucking fine. Wake the fuck up already.

  • as a kid you still are not catching on what all this socialzed healthcare is all about. When they(Dem) talk about getting the cost down, it's the cost gov. ran haelthcare will have to pay out. it's nothing about you saving. Generic drugs are the cheapest, the prefered druds th egovernment is willing to pay for.

  • But your are for higher taxs, socialism, communism.

you are of those that are so damn lazyn you ahve to have the government pay your way through life.

you really can'r help it a problem this nation has had for way to long. Welfare lifestyle youy live will make it to where you'll never get ahead.

if you had only been made to get out of your parent home and work for yourself you may have learn.

  • Come on out MrSTANDFORAMERICA. You're not going to hide now - are you? I think you need to change your name. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna take that name over. A better name for you would be - (Lobbyists and Special Interests For America.) How the fuck can you lie so much? You're about to become Benedict Arnold the 2nd.

  • MrStand: The IPsos question was if people were for the "Creation of a public entity to directly compete with existing health insurance companies" aka public option. The answer has been as I stated. There is nothing else wrong than you not checking facts provided to you but claiming wrong.

  • This is BS.

For them to be working on Saturday then they are going to be voting on more than just health care.

  • Pass this thing,...and with a STRONG public option!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • treid100182: I am afraid that at this rate, there will be no public option at the end and after a while, we will hear the same people who said "kill the public option" complain of the Bill not delivering on its earlier promises, health-care for all (politics at its worst).

  • And for those that thumb down the simple facts of truth must be working for Reid. The truth stands on it's own. Those that LIE like REID and PELOSI have brainwashed you. Shake you head and read the damn bill then. I Have!

IT"S A HEALTH CARE TAKE OVER BY OUR GOVERNMENT SO THEY CAN CONTROL US FURTHER.

Wake the hell up.. This bill has nothing to do with making health care better but rather has everything to do with. The GOVERNMENT CONTROLING your very lives! Weather you should LIVE OR DIE!

  • Comment removed

  • I and many of my friends at work all agree to VOTE OUT those that wish to vote in this FRAUD! The senators and Congress will be looking for a new job if when they vote this in.

HEALTH CARE BILL IS A FRAUD!!!

  • Reid is nothing more then a puppet just as Pelosi. They all need prison time. There health care bill is to remove 500 BILLION DOLLARS from Health Care. There is no one in the world that will tell you this will improve HEALTH CARE except those brainwashed by those pushing this FRAUD. It seems very clear Reed and those behind this bill need to do PRISON TIME.

It's ONE HUGE FRAUD! But I don't blame those that want this bill because you are unable to think. You are brainwashed.

  • Sending Lockerz invites!!! Message me.

  • how dare you salmer666 think i have to pay for other peoples insurance. Are you so blind to see that if the gov. takes over health care, when will it stop they are taking over everything. Socialism is there goal, the nazis were socialist

  • I always thought the Nazi's were headed by Hitler, who was a dictator as far as I know. That's different than socialism, almost the polar opposite.

  • health care reform sure....(1)Tort Control!

    (2) The ability to buy Health Insurance from anywhere, NOT just the state you live in! (3) Do away with Fraud & Abuse!

    oBAAAAma-care...not NO but FUCK-NO!

    GOD BLESS/GOD SAVE AMERICA!

  • much to Minority Leaders dismay (surprise)......American people are not asking to stop health care reform bill...Health Care Insurance companies are asking to stop health care insurance reform.

  • "and today we will try to fuck America and try to create a govt controlled medical system that will bankrupt the nation even if the people are against it.... we understand we have majorities in both houses only for a short time before we get voted out......(boy I hope my fellow democrat ideologues fall on the sword for the democrat socialist party.....

  • How about all of these "Rare Saturday Sessions", very soon they won't be so "Rare". I notice that there isn't as many senators on these "Rare Saturday Sessions". What is the purpose of these "Rare Saturday Sessions"?

  • Mitch McConnell,

How much money did you, Boehner, Sessions, Kyl, Cantor, Grassley, Graham, & all the other bought and paid for Republican thieves in Congress get from Aetna, Humana, CIGNA, AIG, Allied, MetLife, Fidelity, & all the other American insurers to present these scripts to the American people. Millions don't have insurance & are sick and dying because that's what you Republicans & your insurer masters want. Why do you people want to mistreat & kill millions of Americans? It's evil.

  • Why are we having politicians getting involved in healthcare? Do you really want to take health care advice from politicians? These are the same creatures that toted the H1N1 as the next big pandemic yet the test for H1N1 was 90% inconclusive, it's killed only one sixth the number of people that the regular flu kills on an annual basis. Personally, we will find out later what surprises are in the 2000 page health bill that our congressman won't read or understand.

  • how dare you people these elected officials are trying to improve our living conditions and work long hours days and nights and you just criticize them SHAME ON YOU i instead would like to thank them for all their hard work.

  • haha go fuck yourself

  • U got 2 thumbs down???

I guess those 2 are right. They are public servants.

  • You got to love all these troll commenters, always in favor of gov't run health care.

You can go to their home page and they always have 2 or 3 politically based favorites, thats it. Always a different name, same agenda, similar looking home page.

  • Yep, liberals master the art of trolling via alt accounts. just like in real life, they try make up for their lack of numbers via being load. lol somtimes it works and the fool the sheep into a seeing "CAHNGE" when what the support is what got us into to this mess in first place. FDR was a Dem, MLK was a Republican.

  • Mitch McConnell can be defeated next time! He is just an Insurance Company Whore.

  • Mitch McConnell is the epitome of what is WRONG with America, and what portrays AMERICA to the rest of the world ... WHO the hell let's these old FLEA bags that look like they need a maintenance embalment RUN a COUNTRY ????

  • Regardless of where you fall on the debate concerning the insurance companies, the federal government cannot tell a private company what their pay structure should be. That's up the stockholders and the board of directors.

This isn't the old Soviet Union where the Communist party dictated pay scales for their industries.

  • no yet phibes, give the liberals what they want and if a few year's they gonna be saying, of fuck, we got it, what we gonna do now?

  • lol, he spent too many years under GWB, where all the proposals were maybe 10 pages max. You want a simpler resolution that works? good luck

  • Mitch McConnell is a douche. He thinks the rich teabaggers who flew all the way from Hawaii to lobby against this bill are representative of American popular opinion, which HAS BEEN PROVEN to be overwhelmingly in favor of healthcare reform, time and time again. In fact, American wants a drastically more liberal solution than this. The majority want single payer, which isn't even up for debate. He's making stuff up.

  • Wait, hasn't government been fighting a war on Cancer? Now cancer kills 685,000 Americans a year. One out of every three Americans will get Cancer. Yet if we look at history, before food companies started processing food to give it longer shelf life, less than 1% of the population contracted cancer or was obese. I'm certain that government has an agenda, but I'm sure it's not about health.

  • I think u have a good point.

  • Thank you and thank god for the internet. If people really wanted to cure cancer, heart disease, diabetes, etc. Just google it. I learned to get rid of my type 2 diabetes by adopting a mostly raw food diet (not 100%). I learned about that on the internet. Most people need to learn that the best doctor that they will ever have is themselves and the internet makes it so much easier. Personally, I want good health, not health care or disease care. Answers, not management.

  • What is it with Republicans stressing the page length of the bill?
