  • i would have put highlights on the other side of the head. it looks kinda unfinished awesome job otherwise.

  • THIS IS SOOO AMAZING!! You are really talented :D great job

  • How did you create that blue gradation on the fan?

  • @TheDrawingLab By using 3 different shades of blue and the colourless blender. You have to move quickly though if you want it to blend right.

  • Wonderful!

I wish you could teach me your ways...

my coloring skills need practice D:

  • Are copic markers like water colour painting?

  • @TheRibenaGina Not completely but I suppose that's the closest comparison. They're a pretty unique experience.

  • The way I see people use copic markers are close to water colors except that they dry faster.. LOL

  • @easyteh4getperson Oh so much faster.

  • inspiring video!!! i just got some new copics and am hoping to be able to use them soon :)

  • @mmaxms Thank you! :) I'm excited for you, haha. They're amazing markers and I know you're going to have fun with them!

  • @5amWednesdayMorning wats that white marker that you used for the fan?to draw the flowers?

  • @DjFantasyAngel Just a white gel pen. Simple as that. :)

  • @5amWednesdayMorning oh......sorry XP

  • whys the ear yellow? Isnt the white makeup supost to cover the ear too?

  • @widda012 No, actually. The Geisha makeup doesn't cover the ears or a portion of the nape of the neck. :)

  • why are her eye brows pink?

  • @kittykateyes121 That's part of the Geisha makeup, to outline the corners of the eyes and the eyebrows in shades of red.

  • amazing hey do u have a deviantart account

  • @123invadergir I do indeed. fallinginsane is the username.

  • @5amWednesdayMorning thnks for telling me

  • You are amazing! I love the way you draw and color it's beautiful. =^^=

  • @2kitten66 Thank you! :)

  • You have a very unique pen grip.. Excuse the question, but do you write with that grip too? How does it feel for control of your pen? You see, I have benign essential tremor in my hands, esp. my drawing hand, and I'm looking for ways around the shakes.. thinking that changing up the way I hold my pen might help a little bit. I'm using the standard 'public school' pen grip now, and feel I need something firmer.

  • @altrego100 I do indeed write that way. I also hold my chopsticks that way, makeup brushes...et cetera. :) It does make me feel like I have more control. When I hold a pencil the "right" way, I feel like it will flip out of my hand. This way, I know I have control. I would imagine that this would be very helpful for you because every action must be deliberate. Tell me if it helps!

  • @5amWednesdayMorning

I write/draw the same way you do ;DD I dont feel so strange anymore xDD

  • @Kagome8967 Oh really? Haha. I hardly ever hear of people who write the same way!

  • @Kagome8967 don't worry i only write that write that way.but for drawing regular or coloring.

  • @5amWednesdayMorning

I dont' find it so..delicate and artistic but....well...it's YOUR way to hold things and...you do beautiful things with that way so...oh who cares?!?! AHAAHHAHAHAHA

  • 1 dislike?? wth...

  • exquisite!

  • @kendahke Merci Beaucoup!

  • This video is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing! I'm an artist also, if you want to check out my anime/manga channel.

    Yours Truly,

    Li Da

  • @LiDaMangaka Thanks very much! I appreciate that you took the time to watch and comment! :D

  • Miss mam, I don't mean to be rude and all but are your rushing? You see, I am a female artist, and patience is a virtue.. Just by seeing the parts where you are drawing the black amd you kinda went over the top right of the beads, but hey nobodys perfect.. Very very great drawing!

  • @AppleSaysNo That's not rude. No I was not rushing when I drew this piece, I stopped short of the beads when I was colouring in the black. But, yes, when it's sped up like this it can look like I'm rushing through it. Haha. Thanks for the comment!

  • Do youhave a personal page like FB ? :) I would really like to add you

  • @TheBonez1234 My business has a page if you'd like to add that to your list. It's Jess Ellis Art. :)

  • @TheBonez1234 My business has a Facebook page if you'd like to add that. It's Jess Ellis Art. :)

  • BEAUTIFUL :)

  • @TheBonez1234 Thanks! :)

  • y does everyone think geisha's r prostitutes? They say clearly in Memoirs of a Geisha, they don't seel their bodies. all they do is be with the guy that they're with to keep them company and go places. like hiring a best friend, or something. nice pic by the way.

  • @MacyPooh196 Thanks very much for watching and liking my drawing. No, Geishas are not prostitutes but I know what you are saying as I find most people think that as well.

  • This is a very pretty image! Did you use the 'colorless blender' to blender your colors? Many people that use that 'colorless blender' of copics say that it does not work...

  • @LTCJ2006 I did indeed use the colourless blender. I think it works wonderfully when you're using it properly and for the correct thing. I always put the colourless blender down before the colour and then again after. You have to work quickly, though. As you can see on the fan, there is a streak of dark blue that wasn't worked out quickly enough. It's useless for post work, though, I agree with that. Thanks for your comment! :) I'm glad you like it!

  • @5amWednesdayMorning Ohhhhhh, okay. Thank you soooo much!!! I really do appreciate the tips and your help with the Copic markers. I have seen so many people on here using those markers so I really want to give it a try. When I went to the store and saw how much $ I have to spend... I kind of changed my mind lol.

Now that you have told me you use the blender that way, It MUST be the right way to use it because I have talked to someone else on here that uses the blender the exact same way! :-D

  • beautiful!

  • @TheAimandps Thank you so much! :)

  • @5amWednesdayMorning you`re welcome

  • Could you list the markers that you used for this?

  • @GreatAkuHa Sure thing. I updated the details with the markers I used. :)

  • @5amWednesdayMorning Thanks!!

  • IT'S SO PRETTY!

  • @Cinnamonster100 Thank you! :D

  • Let's all hope Japan the best think about all those people out there I would die if I was there because of fearness and the tsunami pray for them and hope the best for their town to recover.

  • @SuperPennypup I agree. It's very tragic. I have faith (as do they I'm sure) that they'll come out of it, though. Japan is strong.

  • thats so beautiful!

  • @Rensaiya Thank you very much!

  • Amazing Job!!!

  • @TheAnimemanga2142 Thank you very much! :)

  • Thank you so much! I'm very happy with it. You did an amazing job!!!
