How cool it would be for Karen to continue the video projects with the format of the widow of a legendary survival expert teaching her son the basics to finer points of the craft so he can grow up to be a woods master. The perspective would be invaluable to viewers of novice to intermediate skill levels, because regardless of age, these skills must be learned at a child level first! I've been doin' this stuff for years, but I'd buy em'!
Good interview but a couple things... don't look at the camera and talk to the person next to you. Only look at the audience when we are referenced. Don't say "Cool" while someone is talking... overlapping speach is distracting for the viewers. Please do not get offended with these pointers ... they are constructive criticism not an attack. Great job and keep it up!
@ironmonkeyz i think they made it a bit shorter because they could get the same effectiveness at getting the bone marrow out but also it gave more strength to the spine
I just want echo droobies comment. I was fortunate enough to meet Ron at Blade Show last year. He was hanging around the Pit like many others speaking with anyone who came up to him. Very nice guy and he will be missed.
Thanks for this video. The more info we can get out in regards to the Hood family and Ron's amazing legacy is invaluable. Having met the man himself, he was the kindest and most friendly "celebrity" I've ever ran across at any trade show. He really made you feel like his best friend even in just passing conversation. Rest in peace, Ron, and thank you Karen for continuing his legacy. I have a particular ESEE-5 that needs to get raffled off for the Hood's benefit.
Very charming woman. Great interview. RIP Ron.

Hoodlum looke very nice, like the concept, doubt I'll ever see on over here so I will have to make the most of my Ka-Bar.
Also good to see Karen looking so bubbly, Ron must have been a great bloke.

Good lord how old does she think she is? She is NOT old at all or if she is she is aging extremely gracefully.

Excellent interview, she is a class act. Awesome products from the website, DVDs, magazines to the knife design.

I love seeing when a guy marries somebody completely out of his league. It reminds me of myself! You did good, Ron! RIP!
