  • what did u use to paint the gold?

  • wow some panel lines and that would really pop

  • that's what it looks like without paint? what a bunch of bullshit. "dont need to paint" my ass. these kits are pieces of shit

  • What's the name of that silver you used for the chest piece?

  • OMG you r an amazing detail painter

  • wat gold did u use? i want to paint my SD sangokuden kits with this gold

  • I got this kit, but it's awesome to see it painted up.

  • what type of paints do you use?

  • Very very nice. Thanks for the before and after paint-job.

Speaking of which, the paintjob is spot on gorgeous.

  • Oh man... That's a seriously gorgeous paint job there! Nice work :D I need to get some SD's and work on my paint skills.

  • Holy crap...

That's the best looking SD kit I've ever seen. Your paint job is amazing!

    Nightingale FTW!

  • Just great.

  • plz get the MG Red frame likme ME!

  • brilliant paint job

  • holy crap the colors are amazing! I'm awed.

  • Great review by my favorite reviewer haha, great job as always.

  • You did a really good paint job! :)

  • Did you paint this all by hand?

You do a hell of a good job :O

    tell me your secrets!

  • Is the Nightingale mode back heavy or just my imagination?

  • ...its so beutiful... i would die for it

  • In my honest opinion this is some of the finest work you have produced. This is a simply stunning paint job and does huge credit to bandai excellent kit.

After seeing this I can't wait for mine to arrive in the mail. Now if only Bandai would give us a real Nightingale (I'd be happy with a HG but would love a MG) this year.

    Fantastic work SIr :)

  • any progress on your EVA-05 model kit?

  • You should get another one of these: so you can turn the Shibai Nightingale to the Nightingale.

  • are you planning on gettin another one and make it look like the real nightingale?

  • meh... converting Shiabai Sazabi to normal Sazabi was relatively easy, but to convert this kit to a normal nightengale would be much more difficult...

  • lol yeah i know

but would it be worth it?

  • dammmmmmmm, now that is one hell of a paint job

  • Damn that Sir is one phantastic paintjob, how long did it take you and how many colors did you use? Before and after can hardly be compared.^^

  • it took me two days to finish. Building and spraypainting one day and all the handbrushing on the 2nd day. I think I used 8 colors: gold, silver, black, dark red, bright red, clear green, gunmetal, and neon green

  • Thank you very much for the quick answer, lol kinda neat that almost the colors cost more than the model itself. ;)

  • oh my GAWD that is some awesome painting 0_0... what topcoat/clear coat do you use for these kits??

  • I actually didnt bother using a top coat for this one... but if I did, it would be Krylon Clear in either Flat , Gloss, or Semi-Gloss

  • right... then the gold is a rustoleum gold? with probably tamiya clear yellow...?

  • Rustoleum Gold on the parts that were that frosty gold color. the rest of the gold trim I handbrushed with some Testors Gold and then all of it was given a 2nd coat of Mr Color clear yellow.

  • like johnxtech said, what kind of gold paint is that?

I got a MG Red Astray on the way that is going to need an upgrade on the gold parts.

  • it the same process I used on my PG Astray Gold Frame: Gold paint with clear yellow on top

  • yo vegeta what kind of yellow/gold paint is that? the gold gundam marker of mine isnt doin justice on my 1/100 gold frame D:.

  • it the same process I used on my PG Astray Gold Frame: Gold paint with clear yellow on top

  • Did you get the after market resin hands available at Sam's Decals? I got a set and they are great. I highly recommend them.

  • I did :) I've used them on my SD Sazabi

  • Great review. Been wanting to see a review of this and hopefully the SD unicorn. ^_^

  • looks really cool

  • I guess painting is a must for this one. Great review and awesome paintjob!

  • AWSOME do you have a 1/144 scale HG exia? if you do may you please review it?

  • sorry, I don't have any 1/144s from Gundam 00...
