This vid doesn't even come close to doing this song justice live. They performed it the last time they came to the US a few years back. It was probably the best song I've ever heard live, no exaggeration. And their performance was a lot tighter that night. Hell of a show
@Silks Agreed, I saw it in Perth in March 2003, and it utterly blew me (and my friend) away. This version is way more restrained than the one I heard that night - they totally let loose (including a drum loop *after* the end which was speeded up to around 1500bpm before being dropped along with the lights). Noticed something similar in the Royal Albert Hall recording (sadly no video of that it seems!)
Just brilliant! Saw them in Manchester the other day, they were f****in incredible. Was disapointed they did'nt perform this track but was still an awesome show!!!
Thanks for posting this vid! It's been a while since I've seen this, but it brings back the state of mind I had back then. It was almost a hallucinatory experience: the music, combined with the ongoing increase of the figures on the screen in the back.

I don't like how she holds the notes for soo long, it's mean to be all reverby but she just holds it. ah well, still pretty good, I've never seen this live and I intend to, if they ever get round to it again..
grat job. while liz was better, she lived up to her

I think a band like Massive Attack always gets more rock n roll once they play live.

very much so.

I was there. Forget about Massive Attack as a ambient artist. This was pure rock...

Dot Allison did a fine job. As far as I'm concerned she was just as good, if not better.
