The period goes inside the quotes when quoting the last word of a sentence, big guy.

It depends on how you've been taught. Some English teachers do outside the quotes, while others do the latter. But it's mostly Americans that put it inside, while the British put it on outside.

The period goes outside the quote, unless it is a part of the quote. In this case, the word "Your" (without a period) is being quoted. Oh, and great violin playing. I came here from Slashdot. My 5 year old starts violin at school next year. He's not getting his ear pierced, though :-)
