@SaucyCarrot I remember back in the day playing vice city and alot of other great games for the ps2 . wehn vice city came out i was barely 7 years old haha I LOVED IT
I LOVE Yes. So much, I get chills. BUT, this song has and still does, annoy me. I can barely get my head around the fact that is really Yes playing it, in fact I've often mistakenly thought it was performed by some other group. Sorry. If I were in this band, I would regret writing this song, and regret having to play it night after night after night... just... if you haven't heard Yes, don't let this be your only experience of their music, that's all I have to say.
@mknomad5 I always thought Owner of A Lonely Heart was great, probably one of their greatest hits and yeah thats true to not let it be your only experience. But it sounds like you really dont like Owner of Lonely heart
@THECARS7879 I totally agree... this band exploded on the music scene.. enegry that was addicting in so many ways... I watched them live.. on stage not five feet away from me..on the dance floor and thinking it cant get better then this...what a night!!!
I'm tired of these god damned kids saying they were born in the wrong decade. If you don't like today's music... don't listen to it! Just be glad you got shit like youtube were you can listen to music like this... for FREE
@deathmakerI2000 I've never said that, i kinda like it; i don't have to wait for good music to be made, its already done. I just wish that Radio stations would agree.
@deathmaker2000 I was born in the wrong decade brah. The economy sucks something awful. I want to be born in the year 3000 A.D. If we haven't experienced a Mad Max apocalypse by then, the world will surely be much better.
you have just insulted everything that i've believed in: the 80s were retarded. pac-Man isn't retarded! Mario isn't retarded! the music isn't retarded.
Even though I was raised with this type of music,I like the fact that videogames such as GTA and even Guitat Hero (even though I don't the game) are introducing good classic music to a younger genreration that believes Hollywood Undead is real music. GTA has always had great music. Yes, The Isley Brothers, Tupca, Guns n Roses,Eddie Money, Michael Jackson, Hall and Oates, Lynard Skynard, N.W.A., Ozzy Osbourne etc. don't be mad at people for learning great music from GTA, be happy.
@Moonchild042 '80's were retarded? Seriously? Look around you, take a look at the singers around you, Lady Gaga, Bieber, Usher, Rebecca Black... That's retarded.
I would have to agree addiction. But a clown like Moonchild cant hear music in the first place. Ten to one the clown has never heard of Dream Theater and wouldn't like them if she did (not enough gray matter).
The Idea of progressive rock that Yes, Kansas, Rush, ELP, Pink Floyd and others created lives on.

Why the hell do you think people are STILL listening this kind of music? Because it's good and it will still be listened even after 40-50 years. I don't think somebody will remember after those years Lil Wayne or Rebecca Black.
@AddictionToGaming so sorry!! i replied to the wrong person. my mistake. i thought you replied that lady gaga is the shit, but you replied lady gaga is literally shit! chilax....honest mistake. and agreed that lady gaga and the rest are SHIT. i'm all for the old music. 60's and 70's rock was and still is the shit!!!!. again, sorry about that

i live in hopewell, nj. we have a highschool class which is decaded to yes music and yes alone. it is one of only 2 schools in the world that has it . At the end of the school year last year, they saw yes live, were able to interview them for 2 and a half hours, and then they decaded roundabout to them. in my studies of the first album from 1968 and then on, this is there best song in my opinion.
Can't stand live versions of a good song... unless I was there at the concert the song just feels... distracted. Especially with an audience that can't keep quiet!
There are exceptions, usually with good audiences (who know how to clap to the beat, not just make noise...) but they are rare.
good on you animelover2910 if you like this song you should check out a band called Asia from the 1980's they were suppose to be the next big super group of the 80's but contractual obligations put an end to it, but they did do one great album before breaking up, so mate check them out you will not be sorry...cheers from Australia...

Great live rendition, Man!!! The sound quality is superb. I am just glad I chose high out-put speakers for my computer. You can really crank this sucker. I have never heard better quality!!! Well done bassplaz06...Go to the head of the class today!!!
My friends keep telling me im too young to listen to songs like these... Im 15, but all these old songs are MUCH better than the stuff people listen to today -_-
@animelover2910 This stuff on the radio today is crap. Teeny-bopper wanna be pop/rock stars trying to sing. The quality of songs by younger artists pales compared to YES, Van Halen, Toto, Boston, Huey Lewis, and any other 80's group that made it big. People who listened to those bands 20 years ago are still listening to them today and in a few years, people won't know or remember who Lady Gaga was.
There's just no comparison to the fine music of the 70's and 80's. If your friends don't comprehend this, then stop running with then and get yourself some more sophisticated friends, LOL!
I am a faggot because I like old music, how exactly does that make sense? You just made yourself seem like a complete idiot- don't get me wrong though- I'm sure you are. Good day to you Sir.

Do you guys really think this is Yes? Listen to The Yes Album, Fragile or Close To The Edge . Those albums are Yes, in my opinion...
niceguy1312 1 year ago
@niceguy1312 I agree to an extent that it's not really Yes, but I still like it along with most tracks from all of the Rabin-era albums.

@niceguy1312 For me Yes is with Rabin, i guess its a matter of personal taste.

My friends keep telling me im too young to listen to songs like these... Im 15, but all these old songs are MUCH better than the stuff people listen to today -_-
animelover2910 1 year ago 119
@animelover2910 This stuff on the radio today is crap. Teeny-bopper wanna be pop/rock stars trying to sing. The quality of songs by younger artists pales compared to YES, Van Halen, Toto, Boston, Huey Lewis, and any other 80's group that made it big. People who listened to those bands 20 years ago are still listening to them today and in a few years, people won't know or remember who Lady Gaga was.

@Mitsy1212 I know!! I hate those new pop/rock songs. Just a bunch of half naked girls dancing or something :P
There songs are classics!
animelover2910 1 year ago
@animelover2910 that is because you are a more advance person than your friends and you prefer to listen to good quality music.

@animelover2910 Your so right, this song is awesome, even though i'm 18, i think the songs back then were way better than the songs today.

@animelover2910
