yo gast ik heb script: unit1 playmove "ActsPsitMstpSnonWnonDnon_varS­ittingOnTheWall"; en die werkt niet en unit1 playmove "ActsPercSnonWnonDnon_carFixin­g2"; dat script werkt maar ze bewegen supper sloom dat geld ook voor alle andere animatie die wel werken. heb je meschien tips van hoe ik dat kan fixen

to clarify: i want a unit to be the driver of an "empty" boat

@DEVILFOG1776 if i understand you right in the boat spawn menu type in a name, for instance "A" then in the infantry spawn menu in the in the initialization box type in "this moveincargo A" or whatever the vehicle name is

@ofp555 you need to set the height i will give you the script you must put it in you aircrafts initilization or something you will have to tweek the height this setPos [getPos this select 0, getPos this select 1, 20]

This video would have be much better if you took the time to mic it up rather then fixing in some lame music.

@gta4rocksofsocks This comes with time. No one memorizes it all. Best thing to do is keep an archive folder with scripts in it that you can copy paste from. Pros do not write every piece of code by hand every time they need to reuse a line.

Make a test mission with a few units and scripts with the ingame editor then use pbo view to look at it... will teach you a lot.

hey i found this tutorial very useful but i was wondering how you can keep all the words in your head and how do you know what your typing in the bar eg this addweapon,,,,, ? hope to hear back soon =]

i just keep all the basic lines in my head. the actual weapon names and magazines i just copy and paste from the config.

and i actually found out about this scripting thing by looking at the script for the golden ak-47

i saw the lines of the script and started messing with it, and accidently found out you could do all kind of cool things with it :P

and i make 1 mission with the basic script in it and then just merge it with a diffrent mission in the editor so i can easily copy and paste
