Gday, mortor requires elasticity - to be tooleable- workable, it set up abit sitting, trowling it, loosins it up.golfers need to line up, so do i. not in ahurry, just always working toward competion.i must say im going to minimize my extra trowling ,to get afew more yrs out of arm ,thanks. - this is astone veener application- some techniques,- i could show my friend some additonal wall development that i understand from those that built Cheops, morning Angel, best ds
Fun to watch, but I just don't understand why everytime he fills up his trowel, he must toss it back 6 times before using the mortar! Its like a golfer who has to take 6 practice swings before T' ing off, lots of wasted strokes. He's been doing it all his life, strong arms. But shaving off those xtra strokes would finish the wall quicker. Also, the guy who criticized, so many rules broken, , why don't you post your video response and show us your technique.
Man, really bad practise!!! So many stone building rules are broken, I couldn't believe my eyes... You better sign up for some stone building courses or something...
I've been building about 30 meters of rock wall here in Brisbane, Australia and I've found it really hard to find information on technique so your experience has really helped me improve the quality of my wall. Thanks for your tips.
Gmorning Dave. Thanks for the reply.

You did a pretty darn amazing job of keeping the top level. Almost looks like you chiseled it. Doesn't look to hard either. Once you get a rhythm.
