its actually quite complicated but i'd recommend actually to install umm say your linux on a partioned drive in case things do go funny and what not

for example, i've got vista of all the god awful os's in the world and i'd partion the drives in a 30/70 split having my main applications run on linux and w.e. stuff on my vista

this is cuz of my bullocks of a computer unable to recognize my wireless network stuff but yea, definitely install linux into a partioned drive until u get the hang of it
