  • I know this is supposed to be a meaningful scene, but I'm sorry, I thought it was halarious when Goeth, after a very touching lesson from Oskar, just pauses for a moment and says, "I think you are drunk."

  • Amon knows his own abilities. He's a clever guy, not in that he is clever, but in that he knows when somethings up. Schindler is originally clever, amon could only ever be a follower. Deals with schindler and perks he got were only because he was helpless and had no power.

  • One of the greatest quotes ever.

  • 1 nazi disliked this

  • the true exterminationists of WW2 were the jew-funded nations that firebombed entire cities populated with women and children while genocidal communist jews such as Genrikh Yagoda and Salomon Morel ruled over the vast network of soviet death camps. The fundamental nature of the jew-funded nations was unmasked by the numerous extermination operations such as Holodomor, Danzig, Bromberg, Dresden, Hamburg, Royan, Cologne, Katyn forest, Neustettin, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Zgoda and the Gulags.

  • @NotAllGoyAreStupid I take it from your name that you concede that *most* non-Jews are stupid? I find that racist.

Take your Gentile-hating ass somewhere else. We're trying to have a real discussion here.

  • @FrenchExpat1

Fantastic explanation, couldn't have said it better.

  • It's really hard to tell those two apart (the actors, I mean). They look so alike!

  • One of the most powerfull scenes in the film.

  • the 1975 book "Hoax of the Twentieth Century" by Northwestern University professor Arthur Butz unmasked how the "holocaust" was fabricated to bury National Socialism and promote the joint military occupation of Germany. The bogus "holocaust" was then used to steal Palestine and deflect scrutiny from the many extermination operations conducted by the jew-funded nations such as Holodomor, Katyn forest, Bromberg, Danzig, Dresden, Hamburg, Cologne, Royan, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and the Gulags.

  • @MaxSpaTemp103 I'm sure when researching or trying to prove a 'theory', one must present more evidence then just the opinionated ramblings of one author in one book.

  • @MaxSpaTemp103 So all the Books, Videos, Pictures, Concentration Camps, Witnesses and survivors were all a bunch of lies??? lol youve got your head stuck so far up hitlers arse you could clean his fucking teeth from there.

  • @MaxSpaTemp103 If you believe that shit, you are a prat.Pure and simple. And you need sectioning!

  • @MaxSpaTemp103 Don't let anyone dissuade you from your beliefs. If it feels true, then it is! (That's why it's called 'truth'!) ;-)

  • I pardon you Oskar !!

  • quite possibly one of the greatest movie scenes ever

  • It's a shame that Goeth's liver really didn't explode like a grenade.

  • ....and why?

  • Power is what Darius the great king of persia practiced in his kingdom, he had the power to suppress but he didnt he rulled people fairly, saved the jews and practiced freedom of expression and religion in his kingdom

  • the two are awfully handsome..

  • Yeah well thats not what the scene is about for fucks sake.

  • Yes, they are.

  • WTF

  • I love this scene

  • Great quote.

  • So power is having the capacity to kill but the discretion not to... very profound.

  • Schindler has balls to lecture Amon about power in some attempt to plant in his subconscious a message of mercy.

  • Loved that scene.

Goeth could never possess the kind of power that Schindler had. He tried to, but failed.

  • He saying in redneck technical terms,"Ain't skeered."

  • What he is saying is the true power comes from benevolence. Any a-hole can pick up a gun and kill arbitrarily. That isn't power. It just means your an a-hole with a gun. Power is being fully able and capable to kill someone who may or may not deserve it, and not doing it.

  • He's saying that power is the ability to help someone when no one else will. To be a Leader. Another good definition of power is in Conan the Barbarian. The wizard says in that film that Power is to have mental control over flesh or organic life. He shows an example of this by telling one of his followers to come to him. The follower was up on a cliff and jumped down to the wizard and to her death. He says that's Power, the actor did the voice for Darth Vader.

  • LOL that was the riddle of steel scene. Wow I need to watch conan again.... back in the AGE OF HIGH ADVENTURE! lmao

  • i cant undestand what schindler said about power...and i dont know the subtitles..can someone please tell me!!

  • The True Definition of Power and one of the greatest quotes in filming history.

  • This is the first time I have heard any part of S L in English, and fine film though it is

I really don't understand why English people acting the parts of Germans have to have a German accent, especially when speaking to each other. This is not done when such dialogue is other languages. Some of the Jews might, realistically, show some influence of Yiddish in their speech , but native speakers of the same language, apart from local dialects, do not have "an accent".

  • @Hendrikdevuile It's to give off the idea that they're german. That's all. like if i saw a man with an asian accent it would confirm me that he is Asian. Because in a movie like this they have to be as german as possible but still speak english.

  • Though I'm not sure about Oskar, Amon is actually Austrian.

  • thanks for posting this!

  • undoubtedly this is one of my all time favourite scenes of movies.

  • #!$^@$!#!!!!&#%&%#

  • one of the best definition for POWER !!!!!!

  • omg i get it, its power to say no

  • My favorite part of this greatest of all films. How many of us actually understand what the "That is power." part really means?

  • if u do pls share :>

  • Uh, I do. I've always understood that part, but whatever. Plus, Schindler explains it clearly, to me.

  • Larma7 is correct, either you understand it or you don't.

  • He says power is the ability to help someone when no one else will. To be a leader.
