Hey ive been playingfor like 4 months and im buying a stingray this coming week. The choice stands between a 4 and 5 string, what would you suggest? I prolly wont buy a new bass in a long long time. Is it hard to slap the 5 stingray?

If your new to bass i would suggest a 4 string 1. your new so you dont really need to fork out on a reeaallyy expensive bass and the 4 string with save you around 3-4 hundred pounds/dollars and 2. seeing as your newish you wanna really master your 4 strings before you move on to an extra B, hope this helps. p.s i find 4 string stings are more eye catching....lol maybe just me
