Its actually a 73 Dodge Charger with the grille smashed down to resemble a 70 coronet lol. you can tell its a 73 rallye because of the side windows behind the door. I love this movie and have been looking for a Charger to clone into this car. Its really sad how rare the car was though becusae it was a sunroof car

Its a 1971-74 Charger with the front grille of a 1970 Coronet/Superbee and the rear bumper of a Dodge Monaco.

It's a '73/4. Front bumper is Charger, center 'post' of bumper is cut, top portion bent down and welded. Rear bumper is stock '73/4 Charger. Monaco is a 'C' body, a whole lot wider than the Charger/Coronet 'B' bodies.

The light 'Fawn' (pastel gold) color on the right side of the car is a stock color. The car in this movie must've been the exact same code as one I had years back.

Fawn gold, 318, auto, half vinyl roof. Rust came standard I think...

I had a 73 dodge charger, black for my first car. Thats what this looks like. Only difference is my front end did not have a bend in the chrome bumper,,lol. Whoever made the movie,,i did not catch the name,,proably did that to this car to make it more menacing looking.

Defienlty a 73 though.

You are DEFINATELY CORRECT! I owned a 72 Charger for 3 years and the body styles were practically the same from 71 to 74. Now the 73's and I believe some of the 74's had the "grooved" tail light lenses that you see in the begining of the clip.

Now, for all gearheads out there the bad guy car is a `73 or `74 charger powered by one of four engines (if stock ) . A 318,340,360 or a 400. By the way , contrary to popular belief , those chargers could be dusted by more than half new cars today by terms of performance.For example, a new charger r/t could smoke that pile of junk in a new york minute.Heck,a new ford fusion with a v-6 could fry its hide into BBQ!
