Your brain is never the same, no matter what. It is constantly receiving stimuli and therefore, constantly changing. Also one cannot research the effect without access to a separate universe or observing another time-stream. Such access would create a new variable, rendering the research useless. That is the backbone of the butterfly effect: it is not possible to prove, disprove, or research. It is simply an idea.
