I agree that this is demonic, but obviously this isn't your average service and "spreading their demons" is what members of the denomination are trying to do.
It saddens me to see so many people who seem to be so caught up in exaggerated happy feeling that they forget what a church service should be. HOWEVER, it saddens me more to hear so many people who are obviously professing Christians make generalizations about Pentecostals that they are "spreading demons."

I went to some of these service`s very concernd that something was VERY wrong.
Buy I had and always want to SUbmit my life to The WORD! it`s like trying to explaind salvation to the UNSAVED. It`s about a relationship with The Holy Spirit, Jesus My Lord and The Father, The all Mighty to whom Jesus prayed to.
What about the day of pentecost? The spirit fell and it got so crazy that the pharasees accused them of being drunk. I think it was Peter that defended the group by telling the Pharasees basically dont judge because this is God not liquor. In 1990 a young man asked me to be filled with the Holy Spirit. While I wass praying for him a gentle wind came up from behind me. Blew him up in his chair. Startled me! The whole room got crazy like this. I didnt know God still did this. But he does!
I know that there are lots of folks that believe that reverence is what God desires. There are those that want more and though it looks sacrilegious I have been in places where the spirit manifests like this. Half the room is drunk, Split down the middle the other side is sober and watching. There was a season of this laughter and then one day it turned to reverent worship. God does what he wants! The upside of this is no hangover .

I have seen marijuana do the same kind of thing to a group of folks. It feels great at the time. Laughter releases all kinds of intoxicating brain chemicals. The hyperventilation also increases a sense of corporeal lightness and dizziness. Once you get started, it is almost impossible to stop, especially in a group where the behavior is being reinforced. From a crowd manipulation point of view, incorporating this same behavior into a religious service is inspired lunacy, but not demonic.

I believe God can manifest his spirit how, Where, and with whatever he wants. I am not trying to cause any type of disagreement between brothers and sisters in Christ but I have been tought that everything we teach and everything we practice should be found in the bible, walk the way Jesus walked and Im sure we can all agree on this. The bible specificlly states that everything done in the spirit must be done in order, 1 Corinthians 14:26- 40. and it gives examples with the use of the speaking in tounges, and recieving prophecies, which are manifestations of the holy spirit, to be done in an ordenly manner.

This word was used in the same context in the beatitudes as early as the days of King David which was well before Alexander. Psalms 34:8 uses this word in the same context and it has the exact same meaning. This blessed is the hebrew word esher and it has the same meaning as makario. I assume you would agree that a word can have the same definition even if it is in a different language.

The main quality/point of Joy in Christ is that the joy does not depend on exterior circumstances, the cares of this life. Joy in Christ means that regardless of my state in this world, I have still have great happiness because HE is perfect. I am looking to Him and not my circumstances. This is the joy!

My only question is how does this worship God??? When the holy spirit comes and manifest in us is to enhance our worship of God not be laughing and not even think of the existance of God... The holy spirit is not an emotion its God within us to help us get closer to our heveanly father

As you know, the Holy Spirit came and filled people, and they acted like they were drunk - the bible says. Some so called 'christians' below seem to have forgotten the principles of the bible... not all things that 'feel good' will be of God. These principles being a) We are all supposed to search the scriptures to qualify what is being said is true (Acts 17:11). b) Saying "it's from the Holy Spirit" - we are actually supposed to try the spirits to see if they are from God (1 John 4:1). c) The bible warns - Satan will deceive many in the end-times with signs and wonders (Matthew 24:24).

Funny, what you call "losing your mind" is the same thing people who get drunk on alcohol do, but these people are "loonies," and its for the same reason that people get drunk on wine and beer- to loosen up, but when God makes it happen, then all of a sudden it's "bad'. What about the day of pentecost? The spirit fell and it got so crazy that the pharasees accused them of being drunk. I think it was Peter that defended the group by telling the Pharasees basically dont judge because this is God not liquor. In 1990 a young man asked me to be filled with the Holy Spirit. While I wass praying for him a gentle wind came up from behind me. Blew him up in his chair. Startled me! The whole room got crazy like this. I didnt know God still did this. But he does!

I know that there are lots of folks that believe that reverence is what God desires. There are those that want more and though it looks sacrilegious I have been in places where the spirit manifests like this. Half the room is drunk, Split down the middle the other side is sober and watching. There was a season of this laughter and then one day it turned to reverent worship. God does what he wants! The upside of this is no hangover .

This is the same God who (in the Bible) calls for so many feasts, that your head will spin. It is called the Lord's JOY, not his boredom. People need to wake up! I have seen marijuana do the same kind of thing to a group of folks. It feels great at the time. Laughter releases all kinds of intoxicating brain chemicals. The hyperventilation also increases a sense of corporeal lightness and dizziness. Once you get started, it is almost impossible to stop, especially in a group where the behavior is being reinforced. From a crowd manipulation point of view, incorporating this same behavior into a religious service is inspired lunacy, but not demonic.

I believe God can manifest his spirit how, Where, and with whatever he wants. Laughter is one of the best medicine for your body and soul. God himself laughs and i know of people who have been cured of drepression through Holy laughter, but this is laughter chaos! The bible specificlly states that everything done in the spirit must be done in order, 1 Corinthians 14:26- 40. and it gives examples with the use of the speaking in tounges, and recieving prophecies, which are manifestations of the holy spirit, to be done in an ordenly manner.

Laughter is a faith weapon. Isaiah 64:5 says, "God meets him who rejoices." In other words, when you rejoice in the Lord, He shows up. Do a word study on all of the good things that happen when God's presence manifest: strength and gladness, fulness of joy, pleasures for evermore, refreshing, mountains melt, the earth shaks, you fall prostrate, burdens removed, healing. Do some research about the physical value laughter has on your body. Are you telling me that is of the Devil?

The religious don’t like it but it is quite scriptural. “The joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh.8:10).” “He that sits in the heavens laughs (Ps.2:4).” “With joy you draw living water out of the wells of salvation (Is.12:3).” Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit (Gal.5:22). I never said anyone in scriptures laughed, I said there is no example of anyone falling on the ground laughing uncontrollably due to the Holy Spirit. And also, Abraham was not one time filled with the Holy Spirit nor Sarah. So I think we can conclude that their laughter was not some supernatural manifestation of the Spirit, hence it shouldnt be described as some exuberant behavior

This word was used in the same context in the beatitudes as early as the days of King David which was well before Alexander. Psalms 34:8 uses this word in the same context and it has the exact same meaning. This blessed is the hebrew word esher and it has the same meaning as makario. I assume you would agree that a word can have the same definition even if it is in a different language.

Spiritual Joy(Bliss in English), is different from worldly Joy, just like spiritual peace, spiritual self-control, spiritual love, etc etc. see Gal.5:23 The Results of God's Spirit.

@arabasontokiara What you have done is given me a bunch of passages that mean a state of peace and attitude of happiness, yet you made them to reflect some type of unorthodox Christian behavior. The main quality/point of Joy in Christ is that the joy does not depend on exterior circumstances, the cares of this life. Joy in Christ means that regardless of my state in this world, I have still have great happiness because HE is perfect. I am looking to Him and not my circumstances. This is the joy!

@blaq24 While I cannot readily offer you a passage of scripture relating to this ''stuff'', I will pass on to you a quote from a guy who did a New Testament Survey a number of years ago.I will always remember what he said.He stated ''God desires SPIRITUAL FRUIT,NOT RELIGIOUS NUTS !!!!!!!!. It is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. There is nothing unclean about, the laughter manifestation, of God. It is not psychological, or soulish it is spiritual, and I have seen and experienced it a lot myself. God is not into human jokes, He has a whole different sense of humor. Enjoy Gods humor. And laugh with Him.

My only question is how does this worship God??? When the holy spirit comes and manifest in us is to enhance our worship of God not be laughing and not even think of the existance of God... The holy spirit is not an emotion its God within us to help us get closer to our heveanly father

@thefatcameraman Laughing is good for us and of course we should be joyful about salvation but laughing is a reaction to something funny. Of course laughing is part of joy but it is not joy but as i said we cant be worshiping God when we are to bussy tryng to catch our breaths but I hope this is not a cause of debate between brothers and sisters in Christ but remember not to follow the signs but to follow the one who makes the signs (Jesus) and the signs will follow you

like ive said before the holy spirit is supose to strengthen our relationship with God and when the holy spirit manifests upon us its a one on one with God and your soul... try to have one-on-one with anybody while laughing, its pretty hard to even breath sometimes ... now try to have on-on-one with God who we dont even see.... a bit harder....

@jonlacayo92 Laughter is a faith weapon. Isaiah 64:5 says, "God meets him who rejoices." In other words, when you rejoice in the Lord, He shows up. Do a word study on all of the good things that happen when God's presence manifest: strength and gladness, fulness of joy, pleasures for evermore, refreshing, mountains melt, the earth shaks, you fall prostrate, burdens removed, healing. Do some research about the physical value laughter has on your body. Are you telling me that is of the Devil?

@jonlacayo92 you don't think God likes to laugh? :) just take a look at creation and some animals found in the depths of the ocean and tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor! hahaha i've been in my room praying with 3 of my friends and this happens to us. It feels amazing and it's awesome to know that our Father God likes to laugh with us. It is bringing us closer to Him by just being with Him and basking in his awesome presence :) man I wish i was there!

As you know, the Holy Spirit came and filled people, and they acted like they were drunk - the bible says. More and more churches are going back to the roots of the early church laughing with joy and acting drunk - overcome with the Holy Spirit. Don't worry folks, nothing wrong with it at all.

Some so called 'christians' below seem to have forgotten the principles of the bible... not all things that 'feel good' will be of God. These principles being a) We are all supposed to search the scriptures to qualify what is being said is true (Acts 17:11). b) Saying "it's from the Holy Spirit" - we are actually supposed to try the spirits to see if they are from God (1 John 4:1). c) The bible warns - Satan will deceive many in the end-times with signs and wonders (Matthew 24:24).

Funny, what you call "losing your mind" is the same thing people who get drunk on alcohol do, but these people are "loonies," and its for the same reason that people get drunk on wine and beer- to loosen up, but when God makes it happen, then all of a sudden it's "bad'. You are hypocrites! You can have as much fun- and more- as a Christian than you would living for the world, and there's no awful hangover afterwards either! :)
