Two pelvises... I wonder if they are side-by-side or lined-up one in front of the other. I thought the doctor said something about using the outside leg from each pelvis, but I couldn't really hear him that clearly. That's too bad if they're side-by-side, otherwise that would have meant that one set was vestigial and they could have had a better chance at removing that set and helping the deer with it's mobility. I mean, the deer is never going back into the wild anyways.

If those people love animals so much, then the humane thing to do would have been to shoot the deer and get it out of it's misery. Every wild animal can't be saved. The poor thing can hardly walk, and I'm sure it was suffering after the wild dogs attacked it. If the deer could talk, it would probably say that people are really stupid. If it were dead, it wouldn't know anything, so why keep something like that alive and let it be in misery for the rest of it's life.
