That looks like a real weak spark - How far was the flywheel from the pickup coil? You probably know this, but the iron laminations of the coil must have a clean ground to the sparkplug base.. The HT lead will make a weak spark without a ground, but it will be not enough to run an engine.
I was using that power drill with the magnets on it so, yes its bound to be a weak spark since it was just a SUPER rough test method. I had that red wire grounding the plug to the coil bracket ground which you can kind of see in the video in some shots
