  • I don't know about him SHAMING Wilson, but I think it was a respectable discussion. The only thing I'm wondering about is, what the heck is wrong about spanking a child?

  • Comment removed

  • This dude did not shame Doug. There were good friends. Watch there documentary its great and Hitchens respects Doug.

  • @onebadgs400 Do you comprehend the difference between "there" and "their"?

  • @bozotheda Eat a dick and choke faggot.

  • @onebadgs400 Done and done. Now learn how to spell before I make you choke on my dick.

  • @bozotheda No thanks I'm not a faggot. Your mother though is a skank and choked on my cock last night AFTER I finished with your sisters tight pussy. Shit someone had to be the man of your house as your father is not a man if he is producing faggots. Don't worry I'll take good care of your mom and sister ;)

  • @onebadgs400 Wow, you had a sexing with my mom AND sister?? I would pass judgment if I hadn't just dumped it in your grandma's pail.

  • "Beautiful circularity of Wilson's argument." Wilson didn't even seem to notice that that was a criticism not a compliment.

  • "We're animals, we talk." Logic: You're doing it wrong.

  • (About the talking snake) "We are animals. And we talk!"

    Wow.

  • Um, Joy. Thanks for not being partial.

She's not fit to host this show.

  • @thetwentyteens You don't always have to see two sides of every issue equaly. Especially if one side is showing absolutely no proof and the other substantial evidence...

  • @thetwentyteens No one ever accused Joy of being fit.

  • i love his proof, we're animals and we talk, snakes are animals, therefore snakes can talk QED. where do i sign up! lol.

  • This wasn't even close to fair. Mr. Hitchens was way out of this guys league as far as debating is concerned. Not that any creationist has a leg to stand on.

  • A pastor versus one of the greatest minds of all time, gee i wonder who will win this..

  • is spanking bad? its kind of a confusing thing. if you spank your child, he won't do what he did again (which is good), but possibly the spanking could induce trauma which could damage their psyche later on in life. thoughts?

  • @lightbrownpoop I dont spank my child, because its child abuse, its bullying and ineffective. The more you do it the more they rebel, they more used to being spanked they get. My child is generally does as she is told, when she doesnt it s normally because she is overtiered or through impulse, etc. Say it again, spanking is child abuse

  • @MrGlennatat i guess the wise thing to do would give your child continual love and encouragement, along with wise adivce. and if they don't take it, then they'll learn from experience. we can't force and control other people and circumstance, learning from experience is the only true way to learn effectively. show love, respect and encouragement...and let go.

  • @MrGlennatat hahahha rookie parent. Your kids own you.

  • @lightbrownpoop our species didn't survive 8 million years by telling our children to "sit in the naughty corner for 7 minutes"

  • How was Wilson "shamed"? lol

  • @209vaughn His belief in snakes talking and animals being loaded on to a boat in time of a flood makes him look stupid rather than shamed imo. As Christopher says 'extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

  • Another one of the Greats is gone ... FUCK !!

  • "We're animals, and we talk."

...We REALLY need to stop mixing up 'intelligent' and 'eloquent'. This man is a dumbass.

  • There is no one better at smackdowns then Christopher Hitchens.

    You will be missed.

  • A snake couldn't talk, even if one had the intelligence, though none do.

Only humans have the anatomy to talk.

  • @charlesvan13 LOL animals have other forms of communication but what is the point your making exactly?

  • @charlesvan13 lol ooo ok i just watched the video yeah those religious people are nuts...

  • Christopher Hitchens lies in his coffin, all dressed up with nowhere to go. A true warrior for the cause. Apr 13, 1949 - Dec 15, 2011

  • If you listen to this carefully you will notice that Hitchens actually helps out Douglas when he realises he`s faltering.Hitchens really was the man.

Words fail me at this sad time.

  • rip hitch

  • Haha, this is so awesome, Hitchens is a BEAST and a half. Now excuse me while I go and burn a Bible.

  • Some one shut the host up and let the experts talk. Jeez.

  • @thesamsin Douglas is by no means an expert.

  • @Scofield0085 Watch "Collision" the movie they were talking about, Hitchens seems to disagree with you.

  • Religion is the creation of man, that's why I follow a spiritual path and leave the dogma to the illogical.

  • Douglas Wilson is a pervert, a sexual deviant, a rapist, a child molester and a serial killer. Where's the proof I hear you say? Well its self evident to anyone who believes that he is any of those things.

Do you see how ridiculous that argument is? One could believe in just about anything without proof.

The burden of proof is on the one making the claim. If someone claims that God exists then it is their job to prove it, not the non-believers job to disprove it.

  • @FistOfTheNorthStar82 Excellent.

  • Atheism is stupid. Tell me what so special about it

  • @Vainslain lol wut?

  • @Vainslain Not stamp collecting is stupid. Tell me what's so special about not collecting stamps.

  • @Vainslain Can you collaborate more on your statement? Why "Atheism is stupid"?I am an atheist, i want to know why am i so stupid in your opinion. Is it because i am questioned the existing of GODS? Or because i have been unrepended to your constant threat of Hells. Please enlighten me.K

  • There are nations and tribes who have existed without knowing Christ for thousands of years, yet they all know they should not murder or steal or commit adultery. You don't need the Bible to construct a working society.

  • if sin disappeared our economy would collapse

    wtf

  • He didn´t shame wilson, wilson HAS no shame, the man is a fucking moron.

  • He never answered the question about all the animals in the ark. Even he knows it's stupid but he couldn't bring himself to say it.

  • is that janice from friends OMG

  • @benthemeister He isn't Asia 'have your cake and eat it's arguement at all. He's simply saying they are fictitious events, but if you believe in them, then you must also believe in the bad parts of the scripture as well. He HAS to humour their beliefs, as otherwise it would be a non-debate as there'd be nothing to discuss.

  • HItchslap anyone?

  • Doug Wilson's argument that snakes really talk: "We're animals and we talk." hilarious non sequitur.

Doug Wilson that the onus of proof isnt on him: "Existence of god is self-evident." Argument from authority and rather circular as well because he just asserted the conclusion of the proposition he is supposed to prove.

  • @albiz007 She asked if snakes talked, to which there was no response, and then after she asked if he truly believed all those animals fit on a boat, his response was; "we're humans, we're animals....we talk." Common theistic argument; makes no fucking sense no matter how you slice it.

  • @yesimsandw1ch No, he clearly admitted to believing in talking snakes and a animal-packed ark. Of that there is no doubt.

Criticise him if you like, but do please mark your target correctly.

  • @DrCruel My apologies, from now on I'll be sure to use the proper slings and arrows someone of his "intellect" deserves.

  • @yesimsandw1ch Indeed.

When your argument is strong, no further exertion is necessary. Just a quick, accurate thrust. Observe Mr. Hitchens, the Matador de Toros.

  • @DrCruel I certainly wish my life was filled with more quick, accurate thrusts.

  • @yesimsandw1ch (lol)

    Point for you, sir.

  • You would think that accepted and systematically hidden over decades, institutionalised child rape in the Catholic Church would make them ashamed to be Catholic. It doesn't, that speaks volumes about any institution/Religion when murder and child rape are accepted as something thats "just gonna happen".

  • If we need the Bible to know what is moral then why do people know better than to stone disrespectful children? Hypocrite "christians" actually give their own sense of morality more weight than they give to the their alleged "holy book" of directions from "God".

Wilson truly is an idiot to think that people would be killing each other without their ancient book of rules from the strangely-absent celestial superman.

And the burden of proof argument is bull. Why must existence imply a creator?.

  • Wilson, you should be ashamed of yourself as a grown man! Retard! I can never understand why Christians can't figure out what's right or wrong without the bible. If you need something to tell you what's right or wrong or someone/something to prevent you from behaving "badly," are you truly a moral person? Don't you have your own thoughts? Can't you think on your own? Bunch of sheeps! Retards!

  • Only believers use the term "self-evident". It's an artifact of their laziness shown by their refusal to do any actual research into their beliefs. If this god creature exists, have him show up for coffee sometime. Oh - He won't do that? Big surprise.

The Noah's ark/ great flood story fails from any direction you analyze it. Anyone who believes in it is a lazy imbecile who can't be bothered to do a little grade school math.

  • "we are animals and we talk" that is his argument for the talking snake? Fish are animals, they can breathe underwater, so since I am an animal too, maybe I could do that. hes soooo stupid

  • Fun fact. In diving competitions, the judges come up with different scores, because they judge different aspects of the dive.

  • He was definetly spanked. Hitchens style.

  • @SaintKines That he was. Hitchspanked doesn't quite have the same ring to it does it =p

  • If we are animals, and it's so self evident that we shouldn't murder; why do we kill other animals for our food?

You can't say a person's moral code is completely free of religion influence in this day and age. Our society was built on religion, and these morals have been infused into our culture and way of life. A child that is raised in a society of cannibals will gladly kill and eat another human being. Where is the moral compass that we supposedly possess naturally as many like to claim?

  • @jbourg333 Self interest, societal decree, indoctrination, learned behavior, empathy.

  • Comment removed

  • yes we as animals can talk but a snake's mouth cant make the movements needed to form words in any human language c'mon this is funny

  • The henry ford argument is really great. The pastor is making a complete fool of himself.

  • The host is obviously on Christopher Hitchens' side. I love it.

  • @Delision

Or mat be she just isn't an ignorant idiot and is on the reason's side.

And Hitchens happened to be there, too ;-))

  • religion has the burden of proof, cause they are the ones that wants something.no taxes, money, power, influence. all that stuff they want.

and i think all atheist want is: dont give it to them.

  • Douglas Wilson's church is in my home town, and he and his church are actively trying to take over it. They are buying buildings downtown and frequently attempt to buy up houses around the city (Moscow, ID) including my own. Me and many others despise his views and regret his presence in the great state of Idaho. He is shameful, and it's great to see him put in his place by such a great man like Hitchens!

  • A life for an eye is what's right. There is no justice in only inflicting on one the same ill that he has inflicted on someone else.

  • Hitchens doesn't address the argument that 'God counts every hair on your head' sufficiently, and ascribes a character to God that isn't there. If there were such a being, and he were the sort of being to do that sort of thing, then yes he would be in your everyday lives making sure Joy Behrhart doesn't sin whilst performing her show. His dismissal of this is in direct contradiction to his assertion that God is a horrible monster. Of course a horrible monster is always watching. And waiting..

  • T( 49 letters)

    O (49 letters)

    R (49 letters)

    A (49 letters)

    H (49 letters)

the whole law (10 authors? copied? even more a miracle?) PERFECT

  • "Self evident to those who believe"

    /Head desk/

  • What I find so interesting about Hitchens philosophy is that he doesn't believe the the Bible or its historicity, and even says that the Israelites wondering in the desert is false, yet when it comes to God commanding the same Israelites to go to war with their enemies, then all of a sudden he speaks about how cruel and mean God is. He has used this kind of (have your cake and eat it) argument for years. This types of paradigm is illogical and philosophically inconsistant.

  • @benthemiester well the IsraeliSchoolOfArchaelogy has already ,very bravely and honestly, concluded that there is no historical evidence for almost all of Joshuas` battles and that most were fictitious. Yet you still have them in there ,god telling the Israelites to kill evryone except the virgins.

  • @PAULOcbi

Before I respond to your statement. Can you please provide specific reference? Document, website? As for history. The Bible is considered a historical document. For decades critics declared figures like King David and Pontius Pilate to be fictitious until we actually found archeological evidence falsifying this claim. The Dead Sea Scrolls when discovered also shut a lot of people up.

And lastly what does this have to do with what I said about Hitchens?

  • @benthemiester well its all in Prof.Israel Finkelstein`s of the Israeli School of Archaelogy and his work and book The Bible Unearthed ,where he clearly cites that after his archealogical searches that most of the battles and settlements of David,Solomon and Joshua are fictitious and dogmatic in nature,(like most of the bible) a very honest and courageous conclusion coming from a Jew.

  • @benthemiester like all religious 'holy books' its a clever mixture of dogma, fiction and history woven together ,certainly neccessary for 'pitching the woo' to the simple minded like all religionists.

  • @PAULOcbi cont... We no longer have archeological evidence for most of the ancient Great Wonders of the World but everyone agrees they existed. We don't even really have any substantial evidence that Plato existed, yet he is spoken of in historic terms all the time. By the way, I know of no such thing as The Israeli School of Archeology and one does not seem to exist. Are you trying to insinuate that he is a member of the Israeli Institute of Archeology?

  • @benthemiester you dont have to be coy,'school' ,'institute' you know what I meant. Your obviously a religious apologist but you`ll get 'no sale' here. These BronzeAge 'holy books' with their degrading, subhuman 'objective moral relativism' written by uneducated men who still pick their nose are obsolete in todays world of secular morality. Answering evry meta-physical question with the same 3 letter answer ,'god'.lol.

  • @benthemiester Compassion, the highest of ethics is lit between bearer and offspring at birth, ethics are innate and entirely 'subjective' .There are no mind-independent values 'out there' in the world waiting for us to detect them or 'objectiviley' decreed by some supernatural god-king. We all dont agree maiming and murder for menial sin like theft and adultery is 'o.k.' or even ethical ,its entirely subjective .no two people have the exact same morality.

  • @PAULOcbi cont.....and even states in his own book that the authors "deny that their arguments should be construed as compromising the Bible's power" What is basically said is that in there opinion some of these stories have not yet been confirmed through archeological evidence. This may be true but it is a much different narrative from what you have tried to propose, and which you have tried to do through quote mining out of context, and trying to portray the author as anti Biblical.

  • @PAULOcbi You first said that the (The Israeli School of Archaeology) declared this. When I pressed further, you then admitted it is one person. As far as I know he has never denied the existence of David or Joshua and in fact argues that some of these problems can be resolved by lowering the dates from an 11th century BC to a 10th century BC chronology. In nowhere does he state that most of the Bible is fictitious,..........

  • You cannot possibly be stupid enough to suggest that fiction can not be immoral.

  • @psistarpsi80

"You cannot possibly be stupid enough to suggest that fiction can not be immoral"

Apparently you can be stupid enough to think that your thread had anything to do with the topic or or point.

Secondly, who's sense of morality are you speaking of? Hitlers? Mother Teresa's? Stalin's? Gengis Khan? Gandhi? Martin Luther King?Pol Pot, or Madalyn Murray O'Hair who used to bragged to her young children that she would spend a lot of time at XXX theaters? or does only yours count?

  • @benthemiester He speaks as if the situation were true, not saying that it is true. If it were true then we would be worse off than if no one believed this garbage in the first place.

  • @SerenityCalamity "He speaks as if the situation were true"

Yes, and this seems to be the contradiction that I speak of. In the mind of Hitchens, Harris etc., only the stories of war and violence or what they think sheds a negative light are true, everything else is a myth. Not sure if I understand the last part of your statement. Violence is a human condition, and historically the most violent and totalitarian societies have been those who adopted "State atheism"

  • who has the burden of proof? the one who is claiming something exists.

if i tell you theres a guy called "bob" who you cant see, cant touch and can't hear it is my job to prove he exists.

and what kind of a crappy answer is "self evident to those who believe"...

next up "i believe the bible" in saying that, he believes children should be killed for misbehaving, gays should be executed, daughters need stoning to death for sex out of marriage...

  • There is overwhelming evidence that Henry Ford existed and created Ford automobiles. There is zero evidence that God exists and created us, and wrote one of our ancient books. The God of the scriptures only exists in the fairy tale minds of irrational, gullible, feeble primates.

  • @EvolvedParadigm that is such a tired polemic

  • Say Eintstein was a theist and then COMPLETELY IGNORE the fact that Hitchens corrected you you fucking slimy ignorant fucking whore. Selling your fucking dignity, self respect and mind to a fucking TV show.

The same fucking questions have been getting asked for 7,000 years now and an almost infinite variety of the same answer have been given. All of which they ignore. If you don't want to change your mind don't bother asking. Stay ignorant, stay depressed, keep investing in worthless thoughts.

  • The woman was totally on Hitchens's side. Unfair.

  • @555pontifex I can't tell if you're being sarcastic ( ;o _o)

Either way, that attitude is kind of silly. If you believe something and someone brings it up what's wrong with that?

I keep seeing people saying that theists are made fun of. The ideas are made fun of! She pointed out facts. Atheists point out what the reasons are for believing. Then they repeat them. People laugh. At the claims. It's no one's fault that people laugh at the claims except the author.

  • Heh heh! Douglas Wilson said he deserved to be spanked. That explains a whole lot about what he believes in.

  • Heh heh! Douglas Wilson said he deserved to be spanked. That explains a whole lot about what he believes in.

  • Wow that preacher just got hitch slapped hard. Talk about complete dominance.

  • Wilson- "I believe the existence of God is self evident t t to those who believe umm...so err romanian diving competitions"

Q- "You don't honestly believe Noah had all those animals on the boat do you?? c'mon"

Wilson- "I err.. I, I believe in the Bible... we w we're animals and we talk.. =/"

    "yeeeeeahhhh?? =o"

Wilson- "If iff err we waved a magic wand and sin dissapeared the economy would collapse.."

[How the fuck do people even function like that??]

  • It's a shame that the murderess Aileen Wuornos was executed when she could have been of great help to the legions of brave U.S. marines who torture, irradiate, mutilate & murder elderly men, young mothers & children of Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan & Libya.

  • I can't stand it when people say 'Einstein believed in God', it just shows how little research they've done to support their claim. They have no knowledge of pantheism, they pick and choose what they want to hear.

  • @funkyjim agreed. that and Hitler being an atheist

  • Yeah, Nazi non-believers and scientific believers. That's just silly.

  • The pastor said he needed to be spanked when he was young. That sums up his psychological template for me. People who can't handle their freedom have to assign something or someone to monitor their behavior the same way recovering addicts often find and cling to an orthodoxy of some sort.

  • Did God give cancer to Christopher Hitchens to punish him for his atheism?

  • @OrodesIII if god existed, probably not, it's -religion- that describes god as such a whining narcissist that would do such a thing.

  • @OrodesIII If He did, He is an even bigger asshole than I suspected.

  • Henry Ford was a human, and we, by ourselves being humans, don't need prove that some person who founded Ford factory, really existed. But did someone saw God and demonstratetd it to others? No.

  • I don't feel like leaving a comment right now. I'll post one on Monday or Tuesday.

  • Did I just hear Douglas Wilson say that he thinks snakes could talk, as in Eden story? Look at the monkeys & apes, they have a sort of order within the troup, as far as I know they don't randomly kill each other, ok sometimes they compete for mates or food ?

  • is Jonestown Just ?

  • "we're animals and we talk." * Awkward scilence*... nice answer paster Doug,,,

  • @DuskOnVega Like you, i'm astonished to hear Doug Wilson try to defend the idea of snakes talking. I think he speaks with forked tongue, his brain is forked by religion. I suppose he finds nothing odd about the idea of the earth stopping spinning in Joshua ch 10v13. I was brought up in a christian clan & gave it the benefit of the doubt for years out of fear of hell myth. Talkings snakes was 1 of the stories which made me doubt. Bible is Folklore & guessing at why stuff happens

  • It is NOT self evident that God created the Universe. What a retard. The burden of proof is on YOU!!

  • The God Squad is very amusing when trying, desperately, to justify their beliefs and impose their ideas/will on others.

  • @BunkerGearGal wwwwhhhhiiiiicccchhhhhh is exactly what your doing and Hitchens does for a living.

    can you spell hypocrisy? :/

  • @LinkD3

    "can you spell hypocrisy" yes I can R E L I G I O N

  • Humanity is waking up from a long slumber, we learned to talk, we learned to lie, but now, we're learning to question, and this, is the most profound step of all.

  • @drpeppa2357 Is this a quote? Who said it? You? If so, kudos!

  • @reanimated6 thats all me bro.

  • An all-loving god decides at one point in his eternal existence to create other beings to share his creation and infinite love. Instead of making himself patently known to his children he comes up with this system: " I won't cause you to believe in me by direct communication, but I will terrorize you into second-handed belief by threats of unimaginable suffering." Anyone who believes this is an imbecile, bar none.

  • 2:50 "We're animals, and we talk." Therefore a serpent can talk?

  • @4um360 No.

Humans have developed speech other millions of years. It is possible that one day far in the future that a reptile similar to a serpent may be able to speak. As Darwin said: It is not the strongest species that survives, or the most intelligent; it is the species most adaptive to change that survives.

  • I love when the Pastor says:

    'We're animals and we talk...'

    Erm? Yeah.

  • HITCHSLAP!!!!

  • @KosherWarrior "it's a response to a claim" *

  • ANYONE who watches the atheist experience must be TEARING OUT THEIR HAIR when the guy said that atheists have the burden of proof!

  • @upplsuckimcool16 ugh i was just shaking my head

  • You know what point I'm not seeing argued here to much? The "Flat Earth Atheist" concept. Doug should go read some TV Tropes :D

  • Hitchens, ' God is not great' is one of my favourite books. For similar great thoughts try Dan Barker, John W. Loftus, Robert M Price, Valerie Tarico, Victor Stenger, Bart Ehrman, Ken Humphreys, Richard Carrier, Ken Pulliam, Keith Parsons, Gary Greenberg, Robert Ingersoll, Thomas Paine, Mark Twain, Earl Doherty, Israel Finkelstein, Daniel Dennett, C Dennis Mckinsey

  • It's refreshing to see a host actually challenging the religious guest as much as the non-religious one, rather than offering weak challenges because they're secretly upset at having to question belief for an interview.

  • The bottom line is that Theology is a misnomer and a con, and Theologians are no better than crystal ball gazers. You don't study what you have no access to. Religion has no authority, authenticity or validation because it has never and still does not communicate in any way with god(s). If you don't all ready know, or understand and realize this, then I recommend you read more on the subject, in a new E-book called RELIGION PROOF on Amazon Kindle.

  • Hitchens misses an opportunity to own Wilson and possibly put an end to the too common rhetoric that we hear from such bigots. Hitchens should have asked, which god(s) this bigot implicitly always refers to ; Allah, Vishnu, Thor, Yaweh, Jehova...? Could it be that there are more than one? Why is it that it is always a foregone conclusion that there is only one god? Why is it, in America, always a foregone conclusion that it is the god of Abraham?

  • christians arguing always seem so nervous in debates...thats all im sayin

  • The burden of proof is on the believers.

  • Just a note: I always thought "an eye for an eye" etc. was calling reference to Karma....natural justice.....not that you should go out and take an eye!

It's always in the interpritation isnt it?

  • " I don't think that it is self-evident that you shouldn't murder or commit adultery."- Douglas Wilson.

    a TRUE religious person :P

  • @patient0Studios Obviously our world has figured out how to avoid the two above with simply logic and free-thought. Without God truth is relative. If anything one must admit that Christianity decreases entropy, and is therefore good for the world.

    For instance, Is Dexter Just?

  • @KosherWarrior I think more importantly, the group who tells people how they should live their lives and threatens them with eternal damnation and everlasting torture bears the burden of proof. That would be religion.

  • @Jabberwockyjefferies Would i be correct to assume that by "evidence" you mean scientific method?

    1) Scientific method asks how existence was created and not why.

    2) There are some things science cannot prove but we are all still rationale to accept e.g. logical and mathematical truths, science presupposes them (meaning circular reasoning).

Philosophy asks why was existence created. Through logic and reason, we can find philosophical evidence to prove/disprove God.

  • @Jabberwockyjefferies why is that funny? Maybe i should rephrase it... philosophical arguments based on logic and reason.

  • @Jabberwockyjefferies Theists have proof; logical argumemts.

  • @IfUrGivingIn Arguments*

  • @IfUrGivingIn Then why do different theists reach different, contradictory conclusions?

  • @AlanCanon2222 Different debate. It's not whether God exsts, it's which interpretation of God is correct.

  • @Jabberwockyjefferies No, to disprove God you also have to provide evidence to support the claim. If you can't then your left with Agnosticism.

  • @Jabberwockyjefferies It's funny because the oxford dictionary (like many other notible dictionaries) defines atheism as "the belief that there is no God." If there is no proof for God's non existence then to believe in God's non existence when there is no proof of it would be what people accuse theists of doing.

We can prove fiction doesn't exist.

    1) Disprove evidence which support them existing, or if evidence is lacking then that's fine.

    2) Then provide evidence to show they don't.

  • @Jabberwockyjefferies You misunderstood simple terminology. What your described to me is Agnosticism, therefore you should be saying "we Agnostics."

  • The pastor of idiots started WITHOUT answering the question. I don't fucking care if i CAN'T prove your stupid god doesn't exist, you either CAN'T prove that the pink flying elephant in my house doesn't, because i say that my elephant has the power to only be visible, touchable, by me and only by me. You'll NEVER be able to PROVE it doesn't exist.

Does that makes you think it COULD? The absence of proofs? I hope not.

Same way: i don't attack the IDEA of god, i attack it's effects on the world

  • Douglas is such a nice, peaceful guy...pity he has to believe in man-made religion

  • The interviewer can't get it through her head that people really DO believe even the "crazy" stuff in the bible. but one thing is clear, the burden of proof always lies on those making a claim, and the more extraordinary the claim, the higher the level of proof needed.

  • @eastjones "The interviewer can't get it through her head that people really DO believe even the "crazy" stuff in the bible"

To be fair though I have trouble beliving that too.. I alway though that young earth creationist ( for example) was a myth (ie I always though that no one would be stupid enough to belive the world was <10,000 years old)

  • IT IS LIKE SHOOTING FISH IN A BARREL - POOR WILSON

  • 1:53 straight to Hitch
