does anyone think that Carter is too thin? His arms have no muscular definition whatsoever. Yes he needs augmentations to get HUGE, but Spartans would have lifted weights and done intense physical training within their creation process. Surely he would be bigger than that.
@topgeordie13 The video is merely an artistic rendition of the themes present within the Halo franchise and is not considered a canonical representation of Carter, nor his canon appearance or physical structure. Even within the video itself you can see the monitors rendering a quite muscular figure despite him remaining thin. Being able to transform a person from thin to extremely muscular in the timeframe they had at the time is (as we should all know) very difficult and costly.
@topgeordie13 Not to mention, as impressive as we all know the Spartans are in-game, showing such a towering figure in video form would require a great deal of painstaking time and effort *especially* on the more personal level of detail as Carter is seen on during his transformation video. To slip into canon as well for a moment, Spartan III's (which Noble team was, except Jorge) did not recieve the intense bodily mutations that mark II's received, hence the stature difference.

I'm not sure about spartan IIIs but 30 spartans IIs died from it, but it makes them almost invincible. With things like virtual night vision, strong enough to be able to win in hand-to-hand combat againist a hunter and run at 35 MPH (but during a training exercise master chief ran at 65 MPH. Also every spartan was Capable of unprecedented teamwork that's like telepathy.
@Zebedee67 Spartans do not have natural night vision, they are only as strong as elites a hunter can kill a spartan with a single blow, they arent telepathic they are natural born leaders and they work well together because they've trained together since they were children.

They won't have as good night vision as say the ODSTs but it's better than normal vision. Yes they don't actually have telepathy but how they work it's like they are telepathic, they can predict what the other spartan will do in a firefight. Spartan IIs can also break an Elite or Bruteas bones in a single punch. If a spartan was in pitch black and didn't have a helmet then he would be able to see better than a marine. Kelly was also able to break an elites wrist, grab the sword he was using and cut 3 elites in half in 1 swing. Spartans are stronger.
@Zebedee67 spartans cannot break an elite or brutes bones in one punch during a one on one confrontation with a brute the Master Cheif tried an fialed to break a brutes arm. also the slow motion seight was only a side effect of the augmentation. also it depends on the elite so elites are young and enxperienced while Spec Os elites, elite Ultra, Honor Gaurd Ultras, Zealots and Arbiters have been shown to match spartans and killed some of them inH2H combat. spartans arent stronger there faster.

If Master Chief punched the Halo 2 and 3 arbiter then no it wouldn't break his bones but if the arbiter punched master chief it wouldn't break any of his bones either. But if master chief punched a zealot then he could break his bones in one punch depending where he hit him. Spartans can lift up to 400 kg and if they can kill elites in 1 punch then they can break bones in one punch as well.
@Zebedee67 the arbiter from halo 2 and three faught a spartan one on one, took three punches and a tackle and responded by head butting him three times and tossing him off, non of his bones were broken in the skirmish and he even forced the spartan to retreat. the master chief described the elites bones as being like bands of reinforced steel while he tried and fiald to break a spec ops elits arm.
@GrimmRebellion If Elites are stronger then how come on Halo Wars was Douglas able to grab a pike from an HONOR GUARD, pull the pike from him and kill the HONOR GUARD with his own pike? Elites are actually only considered stronger than humans because the gravity on sanghelios is twice as strong as the gravity on Earth.

@27BronxBombers That's the augmentation process which all spartans went through, it's the last stage of becoming a spartan. I'm not sure about spartan IIIs but 30 spartans IIs died from it, but it makes them almost invincible. With things like virtual night vision, strong enough to be able to win in hand-to-hand combat againist a hunter and run at 35 MPH (but during a training exercise master chief ran at 65 MPH. Also every spartan was Capable of unprecedented teamwork that's like telepathy.

@Zebedee67 Spartans do not have natural night vision, they are only as strong as elites a hunter can kill a spartan with a single blow, they arent telepathic they are natural born leaders and they work well together because they've trained together since they were children.

@GrimmRebellion It's not natural night vision they got it from the augmentations and it's virtual night vision. They won't have as good night vision as say the ODSTs but it's better than normal vision. Yes they don't actually have telepathy but how they work it's like they are telepathic, they can predict what the other spartan will do in a firefight. Spartan IIs are stronger than elites and Spartan IIIs are just as strong and I'm not saying a spartan could hold back a hunter shield but

@Zebedee67 i know this thats why i said they dont have Natural night vision as in they cant just see in pitch black without the aid of equipment. agree with most of this, No Elits re equal read te book The Cole Protocal and elite and a sartan fought hand to hand evenly also the cheif fought a spec Ops elite in H2H and ws nearly killed was Nearly killed

@GrimmRebellion This was then just a very skilled Elite, but spartan reaction time is so fast that it's described as spartan time and he is actually able to see things in slow motion. Spartan IIs can also break an Elite or Bruteas bones in a single punch. If a spartan was in pitch black and didn't have a helmet then he would be able to see better than a marine. Kelly was also able to break an elites wrist, grab the sword he was using and cut 3 elites in half in 1 swing. Spartans are stronger.

@Zebedee67 spartans cannot break an elite or brutes bones in one punch during a one on one confrontation with a brute the Master Cheif tried an fialed to break a brutes arm. also the slow motion seight was only a side effect of the augmentation. also it depends on the elite so elites are young and enxperienced while Spec Os elites, elite Ultra, Honor Gaurd Ultras, Zealots and Arbiters have been shown to match spartans and killed some of them inH2H combat. spartans arent stronger there faster.

@GrimmRebellion Yes they can, yes depending on which Elite it is. If Master Chief punched the Halo 2 and 3 arbiter then no it wouldn't break his bones but if the arbiter punched master chief it wouldn't break any of his bones either. But if master chief punched a zealot then he could break his bones in one punch depending where he hit him. Spartans can lift up to 400 kg and if they can kill elites in 1 punch then they can break bones in one punch as well.

@Zebedee67 the arbiter from halo 2 and three faught a spartan one on one, took three punches and a tackle and responded by head butting him three times and tossing him off, non of his bones were broken in the skirmish and he even forced the spartan to retreat. the master chief described the elites bones as being like bands of reinforced steel while he tried and fiald to break a spec ops elits arm.

@GrimmRebellion If Elites are stronger then how come on Halo Wars was Douglas able to grab a pike from an HONOR GUARD, pull the pike from him and kill the HONOR GUARD with his own pike? Elites are actually only considered stronger than humans because the gravity on sanghelios is twice as strong as the gravity on Earth.

@Zebedee67 those were honor guard minor as in honor gaurd in training thats why they lacked shields and the gold armor and swords wich are only used by fully fledged honor gaurd and high rankning elits like the arbiter. and elits are considered stronger than humans and equal to spartans do some research.

@GrimmRebellion (continued) they have been cases where a spartan has been able to kill a hunter with only his fists and did it without a scratch. Also in a Halo Legends episode a spartan (Cal) was able to hold back a gravitiy hammer that is being wield by a brute chieften with only one hand.
