Unbelievable... they did it... TF for PC sim... Amazing. And, please don't tell me about "bigger mistakes" - for me a lap without a crash on Sachcsenring 1967 in '79 F1 is a success... Thanks for the vid.
what i dislike in gpl shows very well in this video. hands movement is denying human anatomy. you can move from full right lock to full left lock in a mili second. some people say that hands on the wheel add realism to this game, but for me it just showcases this ridicule
Voici un excellent pilotage tant en maîtrise de la trajectoire, quand agressivité aux freinage d'une monoplace ancienne, qui est pourtant très dur a utilisé a fond sans ce planter, chapeau bas gars.
To get it running with the BH Motorsports 2004 demo create a folder named exports under the GPL install directory. That way you can also install the GPL66 mod and others....
@stosja There are high resolution car textures out there of different variations for each car and a lot of them have high resolution cockpit textures as well. There's also a mirrors fix that adds the car body to the rear view mirror on all cars which adds some extra detail. Additionally there is a high resolution update for Kylanami (I know I jacked the spelling), Monza, and Mexico City tracks. You can get links for all these from SRMZ forums.
what rasterizer do you use? D3D doesn't work for me, and the OpenGL 1680x1050 doesn't look as good as yours. Appears I only can get it to work in 16bit color depth.
makes the nurburgring look like a holiday in tahitit

@griev0r and btw, how did you get rid of the letterbox??
griev0r 1 year ago
@griev0r I think i captured this at 1280x960 and then cropped 240 pixels off, so it's 1280x720 now.

Cool. Do you know if it is possible to run this track in GPL 2004 demo? So far I have only Isle of Man TT, (Brno is boring). Regards

how did you get the qualiti so high off gpl?
i'm running under d3d7 with all updates (i think)
stosja 2 years ago
By enabling anti-alliasing, anistropic filtering and other quality settings. I'm using D3D7V2 which you can get from RSC or SRMZ forums.
Nakkilauta 2 years ago
oké :) in my options menu i cant choose anti-alliasing so could you please send me download link ? ^^
tnx and nice driving !
antwerpkarting 2 years ago
Just enable Anti Alliasing in your graphics card settings. 8x AA is good enough I think.

I can't get to work this track. I followed this steps:
1. Installed GPL 2004 Demo
2. Apply 67 patch
3. Install Targa Florio track.
Help please!!

Perhaps it doesn't work with the demo...?

Hands on wheels are doing left and right all the time lol.

GPL's replay isn't very accurate when talking about wheel movements. My real driving doesn't look like that ;)

@simracerdave:Try the replacement rasterizers available at RSC or SRMZ.

You need to smoothen out your driving style, mate :p
EsbenT 2 years ago
Nah.. I'm still faster than you ;)
It was my first lap in 69s for long time and my setup was very loose... As you can see, the end of the lap is much smoother than start of the lap :)
