THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!! BBC World music is awesome!!! 2003/2004 is the best too!!! I used to leave the tv on JUST to hear the music haha!!! Especially the breakfillers!!! Thanks mate!!!
This was the best breakfiller BBC World had. I could notice the recording is from May 2005 because the topic for this week's Talking Point program was the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe. And the best of all this presentations were 1: the world map showing where's the sunlight across the Globe, and 2: the showing of the main headline across the Globe in the BBC News opening (here it's "Taiwan warning").
Amazing! I was in London in May '04 and distinctly remember this Breakfiller! I've never forgotten it and here it is. I Love BBC World and am fortunate to be able to see it here in Philly, PA. Thanks for posting!
This was always my favourite; not too happy, not to sad. The subsequent one was too jolly. Last time I watched, they seemed to have disbanded such breakfillers.
BBC World used to be much better than it is now (2008). The music used in the breakfillers, like the one in this video clip, was actually pleasing to listen to unlike the arcade machine sounds they have now (2008) which is irritating.
omg I agree with you 100%...now everything is all still images and like you said arcade music...and there are more adverts everywhere! I guess everything good eventually will suck...
better than the annoying idents and openings shown on BBC ONE and TWO in the UK. The idents shown on these channels these days are not as good as they once were (i.e. 1997 balloon idents).
lol sure no probs man. I'm a bbc world fan myself. I have more vids if u didnt check them already. Just click my username at the info box upper right. Laterz!
I agree.. they replaced this great music with archaic video game style music that resembles background tv hash! I used to love watching bbc and listening to this soundtrack while away on work/hols.. Any idea where I can find the actual recording?

You cannot 'reject history'. However, you can,at best, psychologically deny that it ever happened (as I do!)

patryk1023PL 2 years ago 3
I remember seeing that on cable TV in France. Is there a way to *only* get the music (without the talking etc.)?
jupiter1716 2 years ago 5
I'm sure there is a way to get the music alone. Have to do some research.

Thanks Gentlemen for posting this video as this music has become extinct from bbc news. This has been one of my favourites.
