Part of being the super-star of the team means being able to ignite your players or make them pumped up for the game... Dirk lacks leadership so he hoped Jason Kidd would do that.. He lacked aggressiveness, he kept trying to take mid range jumpers instead of driving in and getting a foul for a three point play... I can keep going on and on.. Overall? he averaged like wat 22points? thats just decent...

You cant ignite your players if they were never in it... Dirk and Bass were the only consistent players in this series. JET was decent too, with the exception of Game 1. And Dirk averaged 27 ppg and 12 rebs... Thats way beyond decent my friend

just to add... I however do agree on some parts of wat u said, some of the players this playoffs did NOT step up.. Example? Josh Howard.. and Jason terry and my biggest disappointment, Jerry Stackhouse... Thats why i tell ppl they gota trade josh and jerry for a better center cause MAVS need bigger players since they got a good point guard for a sold 2 years...

man golden state wasnt a good matchup for the mavs cuz dirk iz 2 soft nd a team is only as good as there wekest link. Yes, you are an idiot and a douchebag, if you are talking about the suns losing, they never had a chance, they lost to the spurs with no refs help in 2005 and were beaten worst then, this year they were lucky to even get the 2nd in the series, and the Warriors were the only team in the NBA that could of ripped the mavs and Dirk apart.

you can't blame the refs, give me a break. Ok, maybe Tim Donaghy, thats it. In games, the refs see only about 40% of the real calls, no calls make up about 50%, and fake calls are about 10%
