Any music could be said to be the same, really. It's all the same twelve notes and the same theory. Listen to anything by Andy Rehnfeldt if you need proof.
guess what? all music is derived from classical music. it is the mother to all music that is composed.(tribal music is older but probably not written/composed) but yes metal sounds amazing in classical form. and I think you'll find that only the finest music sounds good this way.
EVERY metal song sounds better on a orchestra instrament, why? Free shoe shine for the first person to answer that question for me. (Epic Beard Man reference FTW)
this almost sounds like it could be a Beethoven symphony or something. I swear if paul waggoner was born in the mid 18th century and played piano, he would have rivaled Beethoven and Bach.
@Yell4Kell Actually I would say that's definitely possible with a skilled player, though it's hard to tell in this recording, there are a lot of dynamics happening, which is convincing enough to me to believe it's a real record
@yodamvpplayer, I doubt someone who could that would be covering BTBAM, or posting videos on youtube. but even so, this is most probably a midi, and an amazing one, too!
I totally see what your saying, and i'm not saying i disagree, but as you can see with garageband and other things like it you can edit dynamics into something that was never even really played so that's not enough to completely convince me.
actually, i just completely wrote out an entire counter-argument dictating that I was correct on the assumption that this guy was too lazy to put in dynamics, but he wasn't lazy because he even learned or wrote this. so yeah i agree on the midi feature.
I mean if i were to tab this out on some kind of software i would pay attention to dynamics, so why shouldn't they
if someone could take guitar tabs and convert it to actual music notes i think i might be able to complish that but i dont know where the notes are on a guitar
the way i know how to do it is get power tabs off the net. the power tab reader can export the power tabs as a midi file. then you bring it into any DAW software and export it as audio
Good work. It sounds cool as shit, but because i am a huge BTBAM nerd, i did notice you transposed the song to another key, so technically its not a note for note cover hehehe but good shit
@XBFNoodles Yes you are completely correct, me and my old roomate found that out when he tried to learn BTBAM on guitar with some program that put it into piano form and all if it is your genuine classical music, quite amazing. FYI BTBAM compose all of there music =]
@XBFNoodles then your a dumb ass who is a disgrace to music because if you just realized that you should just give up in everything music related and if you play a instrument then quit
@XBFNoodles Not really. This video only proves that varying arrangements of a song sound different depending on which instrument you play them. Which was already a known fact.
first of all it doesnt it just sounds like a decent piano with some delay and second, what if it was? Why is it a big deal if he/she uploads the midi track into the computer to play around with the tone? It always sounds way cleaner when you do that
It's not a real piano.... it sounds electronic...Like cakewalk music creator or fruity loops or something...but its not real.. i have played piano for far to long to say it is real
Is this a self-learned song? If it is, then hugantic props my friend, if it's not, you can keep the hugantic props if you tell me where to find the sheet music!
I wonder how it sounds on the piano drumkset...

Recipe for the coolest song ever
1) First 40 seconds to the Song "Alaska"
2) 1 Piano
3) 1/2 stick of Margarine or Butter
4) No Life
5) Stir carefully until Awesome
6) Post on Youtube at 360 degrees and leave comments open.
And THAT'S how you do it.
