Dubai actually has a large charitable foundation called "Dubai Cares" it works with "save the children" and other world wide charities. in 2007 Dubai cares raised 1.7 billion dirhams for charity. This was matched by the ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed from his own cash. Therefore 3.4 billion dirham-1 Billion US Dollars! in a year! for a small country very generous. i dont see any country giving all of their money to Africa to feed the children.
