They didn't notice that when they were talking... which means they had no idea how the balloon disappeared!

So they checked out the surveillance camera, and found out the balloon flew away by itself.

They also felt surprised because the man who stoop up didn't notice the balloon was moving towards the door. (Hope you understand)
