  • I took up guitar on becoming a dad at 48, 2 years ago, so my son would have music around as he grew up. I've been teaching myself finger picking and devouring all the examples I can find,. I have become an instant big fan of your playing, I think because it is absolutely in the slot, yet so full of uniqueness and personality. You've shown me where to go next; and that is to play my covers but make them mine and to have as much fun as I can doing it. Thanks so much for that.

  • Thanks so much for your comment. I don't have the words to tell you how much it means to me.

    -john

  • Do you have tab i really love this song and disperately wish to learn it!!

  • watch his fingers and emulate and use your ear. you will get MUCH farther that way.

  • well yeah i can do all that but that too i want the tab i find it faster

  • you'll play it better if you learn it by ear, than by tab, and also you need to start ear training anyways.

  • yeah man I agree, I work through ear training and intervals and the like, its all part of my course, cheers of the good advice though

  • John, I love watching you play. You are so good and play with such ease. Do you do gig for your locals? I would like to see more!!

  • Just like uncle Nate

  • That was amazing!

  • Wow, right on. Subscribed

  • Let me elaborate. As a child I used to hate music until I got a hold of a Cassette Tape with this and Two other artists (Blind Lemon Jefferson and one other I've forgotten by now.) I've been in love with music ever since, but my first love has always been the blues.

  • Blind Lemon... great first listen you had there. I grew up on Slipknot and Limp Bizkit.

  • awesome amazing what else can i say about this guy....

  • Yeehaw

  • Nice, stay up .

  • Very interesting guitar. It's got a great twangyness to it, really suitable for this style of music. You kindly shared with me a little about your D18, but what's the story on this axe? Thanks for the great music!
