well i have an iphone 3G and the problem thati find with it is that 1st the speakers are covered by your hands when you are playing games and i have no idea that because its such a big company phone APPLE but the 3G version does not have video cam and it only have 2 mp camera. and another answer to your question is that iPhone 4G is out and it is more slimmer and its glass right the whole way and also it have upgraded the camera to 5 mp which is great. its completely awesome.

And a see through iphone is just weird en not really safe if you exadentily let it slip through your fingers, all that glass is just dangerous. The new iPhone 4g has a camera with 5 megapixel camera and a larger battery so that's a lot better! A camera at the front would be very cool! There also are going to be buttons on the side of the iPhone to make it easier, and well, the new iPhone is going to be great! :D

you dont need your phone to be jailbreakin to record video on the 3g. there are many apps out there on the store to record pretty decent vids.

we already know themes are coming out for the phone because the 4.0 software allows you too, so thats a no-brainer.

and the headphone jack will not change because it would look stupid on the side. its a music player before a gaming device and when your phone is in your pocket the headphone jack makes more sense to be on top.

The iPhone screen already has an extremely high ppi (163) and the current iPhone resolution is only 480 x 320. If you were to up the resolution of the screen to 1280 x 720 it would probably double the price of the phone (there has never been a screen of this size (3.5") with anything even close to HD so they would have to spend alot of money on research and development) not to mention only having about an hour of battery life :P
