Im not that much a beginer as an intermediate. Hand movements I have got down alright. Can someone please pm meh with how you dont move your back,breast or butt when you do the tummy move?

you suck it in and can get it to move up or down.

with your chest up - stomach in- but lose - start from top and slowly tighten your stomach muscles from top to bottom pushing your spine forward and back like a moving snake - hope this helps

a good exercise is sucking in only the top of your abs while keeping your lower abs relaxed. then alternate, sucking in the lower abs while leaving your upper abs relaxed. this helps develop control

Great! Finally a dvd that is NOT for beginners. The beginner dvd's were boring me a bit. And beginners should learn from a real teacher I think, so they can correct posture. (I think)

i can SOO fullheartedly recommend everything by WorlddanceNY to you. I ve started bellydancin with Amira 101 (which is not by them). to progress I am using Jennas Basics and Beyond, Neons 2 dvd Instant bellydancer (Jenna builds amazing muscle strength for bellydance movements, HIGHLY recommended, Neon teaches a stunning variety of movements). FOr dancing pleasure I recommend Sensual Bellydance and Luscious Workout - not for absolute beginners, but flowing and sensual LOVELY

I do not think you ll need any specific coding - I orderered these and other bellydance dvds by the same company from the US and they play fine on my computer and dvd player!
