  • I would like to use a distortion pedal for a guitar rhythm part in a song. I then want to record the rhythm onto the TASCAM DP-004 Digital 4-Track Recorder. Is it possible to plug my guitar into the digital recorder with the distortion pedal as well?

Would it work like this: guitar-->pedal--->digital recorder

I really need help with this. I am new to the TASCAM DP-004 Digital 4-Track Recorder.

    Thank you!

  • Question: If I use Input A and B to record a stereo Drum Machine, Will that count as 1 track? so basically, I wanna know if it's possible to record 1. Drums 2. Bass 3. Guitar Left 4. Guitar right

  • nice demo, man..when you record to the tascam make sure you use the global cabinet from from your rp-50..makes the guitars sound even better...i have the tascam dp-008 and the degi-tech RP-80. to get that global cabinet that will make the guitar sound great for recording just hold the drum button when you cut the RP effect on and you'll see cabinet scroll across the EFX pedal.

  • ...top demo of what this Tascam is capable of... excellent performance too. Cheers!
