  • Highlight of the year - Cameron pretending to be "green" by riding his bike to parliament, followed by cars full of bodyguards.

Did he ride his bike all around the country? of course not.

If the general public believe that Cameron is a "nice guy", and not a true Thatcher's child, then our powers of perception need some sharpening.

  • I think Mr Cameron is a good guy with osme good intentions, but Boris Johnson & the other idiot's at conservative HQ put me off. They are all a bunch of money grabbing racist and bigot's. I don't know who to vote for, any suggestions anyone?

  • @Paulwander Green or Labour. Or anything apart from the BNP. Doesn't really make a difference. They're all just arguing over what to cut. If the tories get in all that will happen is that the police will get nastier and the racists will get more confident. Better to have Brown squirming in his own shit for another five years, at least it'll be better than a smug Cameron and the wool pulled over our eyes by his 'Honeymoon period' after the election.

  • @Montmarcey

Gordon it will be then. In fact Mr Brown is actually a really nice guy, cleaning up Blairs mess. He really is a genuine politician.

  • @Paulwander GB was part of the Labour government when they got us into this mess..It wasn't just Tony who made the decisions the government did as a whole... Sorry but I think Brown is a desperate liar

  • Well, if you look at the latest opinion polls, Camerons in deep trouble. It says alot, that you cannot comprehensively trounce the worst government in living memory in the polls. I think he forgets, we had a belly full of style over substance with Blair. If people keep saying, Immigration, war, Europe, and the attacks on our heritage need addressing, then thats were the votes are. Its a dead cert winner and you wont go there. Unbelieveable.

  • The only way i would Vote for these people would be if they made it so People couldnt claim expences, I just dont understand why they get payed and also get to claim for food, drink porn duck houses cleaning, why dont they use the money that they get paid on food, drink and fucking duck houses,

or make it so people people that work dont pay for food or drink and the gov just gives them the money for everything so everyone can just never pay for anything and we can bleed the country dry

  • not bad for a man who get s a £1,000 a mounth from the tax payer to pay his council tax and £800 a mounth to pay his morgage from the tax payer ah poor we sole

  • Bullingdon Club

  • mr cameron this video has had just over 8 thousand hits, theres 60 million adults in the UK, time to realise people like you and the rest of the polititions are not trusted or liked in the UK, just another idea that has failed, get on your bike and piss off

  • If you don't promise a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty I'm voting UKIP.

  • I think Cameron is going to get in, make a few mistakes and be looked back on like Thatcher is. Either loved or hated.

We needed another Harsh leader who is tight with the purse strings and doesnt spent what we dont have.

    June 4th guys.......

  • David, you are in with Labour and the Liberals.

One party with 3 different branches.

    Just a big CON!

  • i love the music in this video, good old dave, so down with the kids ;)

  • CAMRON i want to hate you but i cant.

    i FREEKIN love you DUDE.!!!!!!!!!!

    END RACISM+FACISM.

  • Cameron looks like the next PM.

  • How can he fail with buisness and media behind him!

  • Dead easy......Just tell the truth Cameron!

  • long live the communist party of britian!

  • Oh meroyn, theres nothing great about Etonians.

  • Who cares about his background? Clement Atlee, regarded as the greatest socialist PM went to a private school, and went to Oxford. Background is irrelevant. Tony Blair was a product of public school, as is most of the Labour frontbench. Thatcher was grammar school educated. Hague was comprehensive school educated.

  • i know, but they all seem to be in government dont they, thats what i'm saying, Cameron is just as disconnected from reality in the slow lane, as all other Etonian mps.

  • Tony Benn went to Westminster School, a private school. Is he disconnected from reality? Clement Atlee too. Socialism was founded by middle class private school graduates. You say you are the smartest in your family, then I shudder to think how unintelligent your family must be if you claim the crown of the smartest.

  • The war with Iraq is going to be over soon though. So it shouldn't be much of an issue in politics. Whether Mccain or Obama gets elected the war should be over Completely by 2010-11.

  • thre USA still has over 130,000 troops in Iraq, do u seriously think they'll all be going home soon?

  • Comment removed

  • stop being a toff cameron! oh right, you can't. we don't need a toff prime minister.

  • He should quit the patronising voice when explaining ideas, not everyone in the country is a moron. Extremely insulting to people when someone who hasn't lived a normal life tries to tell them how to live theirs. Browns bad but Cameron is worse.

  • Wha...?

Eton and idiot in the same sentance...? Are you sure you know what you're going on about here?

Brown just has no charisma, his party is falling apart... the vultures (I'm looking at you Miliband brothers) are circling... I don't think Labour is going to last until the next general election.

When it comes Labour is going to get slaughtered when the votes are cast.

  • yes, that's right Eton and idiot in the same incandestine sentance. i could match any Etonion acedemically if given the chance

  • Yes exactly - and speaking of Eton, anyone fancy a guess as to how many old Etonians are in CAMERON'S shadow cabinet? - 14. Thats ridiculous. Its jobs for the boys all over again but this time we have a new face on it. And yet he would complain if we called him elitist

  • and the Tory's claim that Labour is disconnected from the people, what a joke. I know many of Labour were privately educated by at least some have grown up in poorer backgrounds

  • who cares!? everyone who grows up in a deprived background cares! what chances do anyone have of reaching such exhaulted positions these days if even MP's do not send their kids to the state schools they have created? its hugely unrepresentative of the population for a start, i'd have thought it was abvious as to why people feel the government is so disconnected from its people! how ignotant of you to presuppose that the system is fine when its obviously not, Cameron is just another on the list

  • I live in a working class household and background does not matter to me. It was his parent's choice to send him to Eton. Edward Heath was a grammar school boy. Margaret Thatcher was a grammar school girl. William Hague went to a comprehensive. That does not make them more important or less important than privately educated people. Have you actually checked figures for MP's and who applies.

  • Most people who apply to become MP's are from private schools. It's the same as the Oxbridge argument. People insult the institution for being elitist, despite it accepting equal proportions of people from both private and state sectors. Nobody insults Sheffield University for only having 10% of it's intake from private school. Isn't that just another form of discrimination?

  • Very true.

  • Yes all these videos seem to tell us whats wrong but do we ever find out how you would fix it - do we bollocks. Tell me your a conviction politician and mean it you smarmy posh wanker

  • too right, i'm sick of all these Eton idiots

  • As oppose to Tony Blair who attended Fettes, an private school in Scotland...

  • that is exactly my point - look how Blair turned out

  • I've been in his office and we shook hands...twice!

  • i pity you

  • i'm not sure what would give you that impression, i couldn't be more english in fact, i come from an old working class family, many of whom have been in workhouses, my own grandfather was a chimney sweep as a boy i have never been abroad either, so i'm more english than most.

  • We all know New Labour has failed, we need the Tories in to sort the mess out that Centre-Left politics put us in.

If I could kill one person in the world it would be Anthony Charles Lynton Bliar!

  • i'm not of the impression New Labour has failed per se, they are in trouble yes, but not failed, neither would i say the past 10 yrs has been unproductive, it has been the most stable 10 years of our country's history, ever, i think Labour deserve credit for that (no pun intended)

  • Despite all that has happened over the past year i still cannot bring myself to supporting him, Gordon Brown or not, Labour are still the only real option in my mind, i just cant see him standing up against China America or France if he was PM, he seems to be a rather weak leader, cunning yes, but not strong. Despite Gordons problems, he did not create them the world did, he has just been unfortunate to be landed with the current crisis and dont deserve his low polls

  • Gordon Frown & Anthony Charles Lynton BLIAR caused the problems we are in today.

They didn't save any money, just tax and spend, and increase Britain's deficit.

Thats New Labour for you, a giant waste of 10 years.

  • if that's what you believe, we could just point the finger at a number of people going back through history but it wont solve the crisis that exists now. like my nan says, if you have a chocolate bar in the cupboard, no-one is going to savour it for a year, they gobble it up in minutes. No-one could have predicted 2008 would be like this. Gordon and Tony made Britain respected again, wealthy and strong, today is nothing like 1992, thank God for labour

  • Die

  • david cameron might be the antichrist

  • mr cameron, can you comment on the video of Seymour Hersh's recent comments that the vice president dick cheney wanted to carry out a false flag operation to provoke a war with Iran.

  • Another political fuckwit, tony blair mark 2

  • Dave for PM! 2010

  • The world wide down turn is not Gordon's fault, but the things he has done have royally screwed our ability to deal with it. Our total on and off the books, a la Enron style, public debt stands at 130% of GDP. He has bloated the number of those on the public payroll. He has flogged a vast amount of the countries gold reserves at a fraction of their value. He flat out does not understand economics as his tax and spend policies demonstrate. And he continues to preside over an authoritarian gov.

  • To be honest, most problems now could've been sorted by Blair if he'd not spent too much, Gordon wass left to pick up the pieces and blamed for shattering them

  • i dnt get it its not browns fault whats happening in he u.k its a world wide crisis look at al the other countries.. hes just had bad luck... never wnt cammeron to be pm hell turn out to be like thatcher then heel say u should have trusded labour cammeron will boost taxes, fuel. etc long live labour

  • Well Thatcher sorted the economy. Nuff said

  • She sorted it short term. When the curtain was drawn back, Thatcher was the Wizard of Oz mark 2.

  • If Labour hadn't have spent the saved money that the Conservatives saved over the years for emergency situations, this crisis would be a little less painful. Also might I remind you that when the economy was doing well due to the world economy, Brown was happy to take credit for it then, now things have truned sour, it has backfired. Labour have once again damaged the uk economy and its back to the drawing board once again.

  • WELL SAID! SOME INTELLEGINCE AT LAST!

  • bring back john major

  • Gordon Brown and David Cameron are both honerable men.

  • Comment removed

  • Well I think Gordon is honerable but only because he's Labour, but I don't like the Tories in general but David Cameron seems very good. Although Tony Blair was much better, everything was perfect when Tony was PM and Gordon was chancellor. Tony Blair made everything OK for Gordon but Gordon ruined it. Gordon is ironic and indecisive and can't manage a bad economy properly. Now David Cameron will almost certainly become next PM at the next GE.

  • Well, the latter anyway.

  • the real problem the conservatives have is not winning the election merely because the labour party lost, but instead winning because they have better policies and a great leader...but it really seems as though David Cameron could win of his own steam...will look forward to his time in government

  • What about when you had your bike nicked ?

  • Nice piece of PR...but is he PM material?

    I should think so.

  • I'd help creditability if the aspect ratio was correct. 5/10 for a trying.

  • Gordon Brown and David Cameron are both honerable men.

  • Agreed.

  • Will this guy give us a referendum on Europe, stop ID cards and end the war.

No chance their all as bad as each over.

    Lobbyists first people second.

If this guy comes into power and suddenly says sorry all the things that I said I was going to do I now can't do them there will be absolute murder.

  • David Cameron is as weak as a kitten. Gordon Brown is as much use as a chocolate fireguard! We need someone like Margaret Thatcher back in power to sort Europe out, as well as the problmes in this country!

  • Don't even think about saying Margerat Thatcher should come back to power.

  • My heart says Cameron will repair the mess labour have created with high tax and social problems. My head says he'll just be another disappointment like Blair, lots of style but no substance.

11 years under Liarbour and 18 years of the Conservatives before were both dreadful in their own special ways. Voting Tory still feels like moving the chairs around on the Titanic.

Cameron's biggest challenge is not winning the next election, it's proving himself once he does win.

  • Could not have put it better my self gpas2000, but i guess moving chairs is all we can do. :(

  • Gordon Brown's video has had 81 views and David's has had 2.212 in the same time span. Let's take that as a sign of what would happen if an election was called. Gordon, please please go, you have ruined a once great country.

  • fantastic video this is the kind of message that will swing voters. Labour really isn't an option any more; the Conservatives look triumphant and there is now an air of immenence about their General Election victory in 2010.

Labour is a morally bankrupt party which has resorted to pathetic tactics of late, such as classism in Crewe and Nantwich. It has backfired spectacularly and emphasises the real weakness of the current ruling party. Give up Gordon.

  • I'm half English yet not allowed in under the current immigration laws. If you want my vote then let me in!

  • Online petition to call a General Election

    petitions . pm . gov . uk / GoToCountryNow/

  • Spread the Word :).

  • Mr. Cameron: give us Our Country back, PLEASE !!! Labour have systematically ruined it for ELEVEN years and their catastrophic mistakes are becoming all too apparent now. Get Gutless Gordon and his Goons OUT and help the country to get back on its feet. We're sinking - just HELP !

  • The next general election will be a massive Tory victory as well as a victory for the people of Britain as a whole. The Conservatives are just going to pin Labour down and rape them hard.

The thing I like about the Conservative videos is that we're free to comment as we please, as opposed to our 'listening' government who always have comments disabled. The other bad thing of course about Labour videos is the huge amount of spin and nonsense they cram in to every one.

    Come on Dave!

  • Unfortunate 11 years of a labour government has left me some what cynical of all politicians regardless of party. The Conservatives have really improved there image of late and they do make refreshing points but will anything really change. However I am very surprised that comments are allowed on this page as most political body's play it safe and censure the chance of any negative responses. So that's a really refreshing change and very democratic something I forgot we had in this country.

  • 18mths and counting, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The nightmare will soon be over.

    David Cameron for PM

  • So when he becomes PM you think it's all gonna magically change?

  • No of course not. It's going to take at least two terms to undo the massive damage inflicted by Gordon Brown on the economy and the social fabric of this country.

  • if anyone is stupid enough to vote in an Old Etonian who believes in Laissez-Faire economics in a recession they deserve the deaths that would result from the food shortages and disease epidemics because they are simply too stupid to live.

  • Because of course the economy must be Brown's fault... which is why he has been hailed a hero internationally for his contribution to solving the economic crisis...

  • Every country in Europe has a somewhat regulated economy. Their leaders know nothing. THey just want to grab a hold of someone and share the limelight. Gordon Brown is no hero. It is the policies of him, George Bush and Bill Clinton that have led to this crisis.

  • This is a fantastic video. It portrays David so well as both an ordinary family guy and a serious politicion but also someone who can reach out and connect to a wide range of people. His appeal and charm comes through the video exceptionally well, his charactor of which clearly demonstrates his ability to run this country as it should be. It's a pity the video was released early not to include his comments following the Glasgow By-election.

  • Time for me to stand for teh Conservatives for Salfodr Council again!

  • Listen up Brown, you're going down ! Mr Cameron is the next British PM ! This country is crying out for a change, The socialists are dead ! Long live the Conservatives.

  • Keep going Conservative Party. Away with the socialists. :)

  • Agree: we desperately a fresh vibrant Conservative Government to drive the country forwards, encouraging individual initiative; we must move away from this nanny state and its growing tendency to tax and inhibit endeavour.

    Tony Luxton

  • Please can we see the end of this nanny state government.

  • I like some of Conservatives idea's however the 'on the edge' stance on Europe turns me away from the party. I feel that Europe working together and a big role of Britain in Europe is essential.

  • Nice to see this added on a terrible day for Gordon Brown.... It's time to get Labour out now... shame we will probably have to wait 18 months...

  • Go on Mr Cameron
