History Channel Mega Disasters - Yellowstone Eruption Part 2

My 2012 theory is this. We will be as close to galactic center as we get on 12 21 2012. The extra gravitational pull from the super massive black hole at our center will be enough to pull on the magma chamber and cause disruption and start the chain reaction that culminates with the eruption of not just Yellowstone but possibly many other volcanoes. Will this Happen??? NO but it's more plausible than some theories I've heard.

To me, I can't really lean one way or the other for the 2012 predictions. It's one thing to believe it will happen and nothing does, than to go around saying NOTHING will happen, and then, boom! I don't think anyone can say for sure, so, myself say's 50/50.

April to May, 2010 if both predictions and current data is correct. Given the nature of the pressures, thermal-dynamics, Pacific Plate tectonics, and other characteristics that is under the North American Plate that affects and effects this area.....April to May, 2010. oh come on! In the past week there has been 900 earthquakes! Which is alot more than normal. The ground has started to swell to. It's gotten to about 3 inches per year..now it could go down..it could "burp", or it could explode. And I wouldnt leave the planet even if i could. Thats the way I dream of dieing! In a natural disaster!

there are hundreds of earthquakes there , every year, this is more than normal, but lots of earthquakes are normal there. The geysers have been erupting there for hundreds of thousands of years, they say geyser activity is a sign of eruption, too. they have probably been having hundreds of earthquakes a year there for hundreds of thousands of years, it could be caused by strong geyser activity, water steam pressure.

We aren't meant to stay on a dying rock circling a dying star. We need to evolve and short of that we should already have starships the size of Texas ready to save us from a meteor or super eruption. But oh no what do we get, just pray to the talking snake in a tree and keep killing each other in the name of that god.

yes! but, honestly right now i think would rather die in a volcano than be stuck in a spaceship full of assholes. we spend five billion a month killing brown people. when we should be using that money to explore space and cure disease. who knows maybe well find heaven out there then everyone can be happy forever. ;)
