FYI....Just A Notion WAS intended for release on the box set of Thank you for the music. When B&B and Michael Tretow went to mix it, they found the track wasn't 'complete' enough in order to present it as a full track so they chose to just include a snippet of it in the Undeleted medley.
@GINGERALER. Thanks for that info, but the story continues. The complete lyric set was used by the tribute cover band "Arrival", producer Rutger Gunnarsson, ABBA's bass musician. It was produced on their "First Flight” album. They never really got much attention because they could not compete with the awesome vocal talents of Frida and Agnetha. This post is the second verse of the song, but still fun to listen to, I think. Thanks again for a great comment
i agree with you, Rob, it's another gem that should have been included on one of the albums, but then there should have been more albums too, hehe !! always makes me wonder just how much unreleased material has been floating around in the musical minds of B&B over the years, amazing. thnx for the cool posting, thumbs up !!
@DrSheerFolly Harold you are the music genius in my circle. I think Benny and Björn may be the Mozart or Bach of our time. Just a Notion and JLT are killers tunes. I'll never understand why they were so critical of themselves that this material never hit the big time. So sad. Thanks for the wonderful comment.
I just had a notion that I was liking this vid here..then I got a nice long look at that cat outfit..right then there it got an A double plus from me..I like the flipping, squish and squiggle that you did here..there was a time when I could and would give it 5 stars..now you can only get a thumb..Thanks
Great upload as usual Rob and apologies that RSI now stops me making comments to the extent I used to-I have to restrict myself to an hour a day nowadays! Have a great Christmas
@raducha23 Hello Radomír, they could do it all, couldn't they. ABBA had a few unreleased songs that I think would have been hits. JLT to name one. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Howdy Rob, Of all their songs (and goodness knows I like all of them) this is the one that pops up in my mind the most. Great slide show too. Thanks Lenny
@Grandpaw2511 Hi Lenny, I've loved this song since I first heard it. It's crazy they never released it officially. Thanks for the comment, that makes two of us that must like it. lol

@941jes Thanks Jim, I only hoped they would have published this song, I think it would have been a hit.

Oh, this is a cheerful rock song. I love it. I had heard one hundred ABBA songs; now, they're 101 :) Thank you Rob

@caquerio Thank you, Francisco. I'm glad you liked it. Too bad they never officially released the song. What were they thinking?
frapistat 1 year ago
Hello. They tried just about all musical styles. After release of unrealized songs, it shows they were versatile musicians. Nice video. Thanks
