  • this was still a brilliant performance, I'll miss Dave forever, RIP

  • Dont have to worry about the audio, it was just so good to see one of my favourite groups of the sixties still plugging away so well forty years on. Thankyou for the upload Sueyonder and R.I.P. Dave Dee you brought joy to so many fans.

  • RIP Dave Dee !!!

  • Saw them a few times as part of solid silver sixties shows and they were always so entertaining, not just the music but the fun and laughter that they provided. Much missed and so glad to see this on You Tube, thanks so much for uploading. Never mind the quality (I think it's pretty good myself !!) feel the force !!!!

  • wow they were still good in 2005 thats amazing

  • i heard bend it on an episode of futurama .... i'm only 25 but DDDM&T is now one of my favorite bands..... i'm so glad i got to see this video.....

  • @atrophiedyouth on futurama?! wow! I missed that episode. also check out a japanese band called the tigers, they are also amazing and a gem of the 60's.

  • RIP Dave.

  • Come ON! Tich...I miss that signature overdrive.

Might be the bad audio here though.

  • @PAULLONDEN Sorry about the audio, but recording was only meant for home use. But as Dave Dee passed away i thought i would post it on Youtube.

  • RIP Dave Dee.

  • Brilliant... they have not lost their touch

  • Wow. They sound amazing.

Never knew about this band or the song until Death Proof. This song is utterly brilliant, IMO.

  • Hi, sadly Dave Dee past away a shot while ago, they were a terrific band and as a tribute we usually do Hold Tight.

    Keep on rockin

    Mark;-)

  • I thank Tarantino for getting me into this band by putting this song in 'Death Proof' ( in the most amazing scene in the film )

  • I wish someone could put on a live version of them doing Pinball Wizard and Stairway to Heaven as I saw them sing it only a few short months before Dave passed away and they were amazing!

    RIP Dave Dee

Still as entertaining as ever at this show.

The band is really on form

and the singer was a great frontman.

    RIP Dave Dee

  • One of the great entertainers. RIP Dave.

  • They still sounded so good, what a shame, R.I.P. Dave

  • A very sad day for us Dave Dee Fans and so hard to take in!

I saw him a few months ago and he put on an amazing show and spent a lot of time with his fans afterwards and he will be sorely missed by many.

RIP Dave, you were an absolute **STAR**

  • @rich88b It's a tough loss for those who grew up to his songs, but after watching so many rock stars destroy themselves with drugs and other excesses, there's something reassuring about seeing one get to the end of a respectably long life in such good shape and spirits. His fate might well have been sealed by this time, but he sounds the way he did in the '60s and looks younger than half the people in the audience.

  • Great song. Rest in peace Dave. So many of the great un's from those days are gone now.

  • dave old friend you were a pro big time . and so brave rest in peace.brother. you will always be one of the chaps, thirsty harry 9-1-2009

  • I'm actually impressed. They sound great, almost as if they've hardly aged. And the more I hear this tune, the more I like it. Thanks to Quentin Tarantino for giving them the stateside exposure they deserve.

  • I only heard about them after watching Death Proof last night. I think you are wrong ernestperea, they are great. Their songs are upbeat and makes you feel good. To bad most of today's modern music doesn't.

    Anyway peace mate!

  • How cool sound !! I love them .

  • A very exciting performance.
