  • ok, going to go play tennis now and try this out :)

  • Nice

  • That also demonstrates how Nadal was able to switch from playing right handed to left handed.

  • your a very good coach.

  • Great vid

  • Wow... I have never thought of it like that.

    >.< i know the secret...nadal is going down now!

  • best of the twohanded backhand

  • Yea i agree, his pointers and explanation are very clear. Thank you very much coach Kyril

  • really good point!

  • xD very nice

  • I think his videos about tennis hits are best on youtube

  • you are awesome !! Thx for these

  • man if this guy was my coach i could've gone pro maybe just maybe.

  • I am a novice tennis player. Before watching this video i was muscling the ball with my right arm.

    Great Vid

  • WOW, i feel like a blind man who can finally see !

step#1 .. realize that two handed backhand = left handed forehand

step#2 .. realize that two handed backhand = left handed forehand

step#3 .. realize that two handed backhand = left handed forehand

    step#4 .. rest is history

    thank you again Coach Kyril.

you are indeed a sensational instructor.

CAN YOU PLEASE DO THE SAME VIDEO ON FOREHAND?

    - from your enthusiastic follower -

  • @dreamyone24 hahaha

  • i think u got the science right...it IS a left handed forehand with right hand as a guide....

  • ur vids rock coach! i was experiencing some shoulder pain from my one handed topspin bh, so I decided to play the 2 hander 4 awhile and drop my tension on my poly strings in healin 4 awhile. Ive been good at out wide 2handed bhs but been lackin on flat/pacey shots! I gonna take what i know now and work on it! thx-rockon-c

  • Nadal is a great example of why it's a left handed forehand (obviously in his case it's a right handed forehand)

  • i started playing last year when i was 10 and i started with a one-handed backhand, but since you and my coach have recommended a two handed backhand my game has improved so much i'm playing in adults comp in just a year of playing tennis, thanks.

  • Absolutely luv it !

    Brilliant stuff.

    Thanks again Coach Kyril.

  • sound foot work! excellent grip, just like agassi or nadal! and all the balls he hit landed deep and with tons of topspin!!

  • nice, that's what i allways say, in a near future, tennis will be played with two forehands, actually changing the racquet from hand to hand....

  • I have a 2 handed backhand and just recently I've been l;earning the one handed backhand. I see krogdogs statement and I think its a smart one but if I (im a right handed player) had developed a left handed forehand that would take away my highly developed backhand slices from the baseline and up at the net. I was thinking of developing that left handed forehand but for that reason alone I didn't try it. Any thoughts about that coachKyril ? You have been a big help to my game thank you..

  • haha,he always sounds out of breath. i like his vids, helpful. thank you coach!

  • well he's not an ironman but he's a hell of a good coach.

  • great vid, really helpful... thx for sharing.

  • Exactly right! It's nothing more than a left-handed forehand. I'm waiting for a top-level pro to come along who has no "backhand", but rather a left-hended forehand and right-handed forehand. Like a switch-hitter is to baseball.

  • sharapova can hit forehands on both sides

  • On the other hand, Frew McMillan hit ALL shots with two hands... groundies, volleys, everything but serves and overheads. He was the best doubles player in the world for years.

  • Luke Jensen. They're called Ambidextrous players.

  • thanks, that helps a lot!

  • great instructional videos!!! thanks for sharing. pls check our videos out!

  • nice

  • good stuff!

  • So true what he said. It's mostly the left hand developing the power.

  • once i thought of it this way it's sooooo much easier
