ur vids rock coach! i was experiencing some shoulder pain from my one handed topspin bh, so I decided to play the 2 hander 4 awhile and drop my tension on my poly strings in healin 4 awhile. Ive been good at out wide 2handed bhs but been lackin on flat/pacey shots! I gonna take what i know now and work on it! thx-rockon-c
i started playing last year when i was 10 and i started with a one-handed backhand, but since you and my coach have recommended a two handed backhand my game has improved so much i'm playing in adults comp in just a year of playing tennis, thanks.
I have a 2 handed backhand and just recently I've been l;earning the one handed backhand. I see krogdogs statement and I think its a smart one but if I (im a right handed player) had developed a left handed forehand that would take away my highly developed backhand slices from the baseline and up at the net. I was thinking of developing that left handed forehand but for that reason alone I didn't try it. Any thoughts about that coachKyril ? You have been a big help to my game thank you..
Exactly right! It's nothing more than a left-handed forehand. I'm waiting for a top-level pro to come along who has no "backhand", but rather a left-hended forehand and right-handed forehand. Like a switch-hitter is to baseball.
On the other hand, Frew McMillan hit ALL shots with two hands... groundies, volleys, everything but serves and overheads. He was the best doubles player in the world for years.
ok, going to go play tennis now and try this out :)

That also demonstrates how Nadal was able to switch from playing right handed to left handed.

WOW, i feel like a blind man who can finally see !
step#1 .. realize that two handed backhand = left handed forehand
step#2 .. realize that two handed backhand = left handed forehand
step#3 .. realize that two handed backhand = left handed forehand
step#4 .. rest is history
thank you again Coach Kyril.
you are indeed a sensational instructor.

Nadal is a great example of why it's a left handed forehand (obviously in his case it's a right handed forehand)

nice, that's what i allways say, in a near future, tennis will be played with two forehands, actually changing the racquet from hand to hand....
