yeah, i got that tractor for free, after that i was going to Make it into a litle puller for fun, but when we were trying to get wheels off axles they were so rusted on one of the axles popped out, could fix for cheap, just don't have the time to rip out the tranny and brake it all apart,

yep ive had the whole tranny under mud, tad to tow it out. Not really had a problem but on my main mudding tractor i can see the seals starting to go and got a bit on oil leaking out. A job for a rainy day i think...

On my agway it just had a 10HP briggs- it did really good thru the mud- power wasnt an issue- traction was tho.

Ive had everything from 5HP motors to 12HP motors in mud- they all rock- big time. A set of atv swamper's or AG tires would definitly tear stuff up- well least till y got in past the foot rests in mud....

I suppose an easy way to prevent tranny damage is to put a drain and fill plug in it- and just change the fluid every so often- ive seen someone add grease fittings on the case where the axle berings ride as well.
