@gr33neyes11 Hi. Is there anything specific you are not sure about? If you tap on a day using the stylus you can write a note for that day and then tap done. You can also tap on the alarm clock icon when making a note to set an alarm for that day.
When you are looking at the days you can tap the left/right arrows on the date to change month :)

@Sycoraxic98: Y'know how some DSiWare games like Touch Solitaire and Brain Age have Menu icons that change based on your performances (number of wins, stamps), maybe they could have an icon flashing in myDiary when you're on the DSi Menu? Just a suggestion.

I prefer the private journal app on the iPad, it's more....private so to get IN the journal at all you have to put the pin!
