  • Anybody who works in this field knows that a scrub nurse can be an RN or a Technologist. We don't care. All we care about is WHO is scrubbing the case. I have been a Technologist for 15 years and I have been called scrub nurse over and over again by surgeons and circulating nurses. It doesn't matter because it only means one thing.....the person scrubbing the case. So stop being petty and insecure about you job title. You obviously have a problem with yourself. Get a life.

  • in my country, i am a registered nurse working in operating theatre and my job description same like video above.. is it different scrub tech and scrub nurse? here in malaysia, only one scrub nurse assist surgeon and he/she handle all the instrumentation. dem tired!!

  • I'm a stub tech and we have just as much responsibility as the rn's do...docs rely on us to know what's going on at all times. Plus his head neck and shoulders are unsterile anyways so it's ok to scratch nose on shoulder

  • Wow. No he may not be a nurse but I have been through nursing school and am currently going through surgical technology school and I will tell you that it is just as hard of a job (if not more so) than a nurse's. We were actually told that we ARE scrub nurses. We just only have the training to work within the OR capacity. I haven't even watched this video yet but I found some of these comments so disrespectful. Judge not lest ye be judged. ST have to take certification exams also...

  • He scratched his nose!!!!!!!

  • Pause at 0:04 noticed how he scratched his mask with his gown! He just contaminated himself. Unsterile already!

  • Whoa! those instrument tables are WAY too close to the wall for my liking!

  • Not a nurse.

  • The title of this video should be change to Scrub TECH not NURSE. You heard him saying TECH not NURSE. This is a legal issue when someone claims something that they are not. Its also disrespectful towards the Nursing field to give the Nursing title to someone who has not earned the Nursing requirements and Licensure.

  • he does had really a nice set up style
