this sadness goes on & on. I wonder what it is that i could do to stop the pain.I pray, but i feel if some one would tell me what i could do, i will do it.I want to help. i dont know how. please tell me.
Furious at what greed and governments do that go hand in hand are cable of. Indeed any eye opener. All must be inform to fight this especially the present generation. Use the power of thoughts and prayers to the Creator. Blessings to all and our lands.
My Great-Grandmother Chische'-Nez Bisti was one of the Dine' women who were relocated, as well as my Grandparents Bruce & Emily Williams. They lost their land, live stock, hogan(which was bull dozed into a pit and covered up), and my late relatives are burried out there. To this day I see my Grandparents struggle to pay bills and they have to buy their mutton from a store or buy it from the food vendors. It's sad. Thank you for making it possible to educate others, of how it really went down.
Thank you posting this documentary. This documentary has opened my eyes even more. Do I think the government has our interest at heart, FUCK YOU! Lands need to stay our lands
this documentary leaves me in little doubt that white Americans industrialists & politicians who behave with such inhumanity are far worse than most of the so called criminals that end up in jail.
I sincerely hope the situation has improved for these people who have clearly not deserved to be treated so badly.
My great great grandmother, grandmother and my mother, father and brothers, and even my children they are buried where I am. So I'm just not able to leave anywhere. I'm going to remain. 1:10 -- Roberta Blackgoat
My father used to say he's part Hopi and so I'm part Hopi myself...
It's all mixed bloods.
You can't divide the blood by fencing." 1:36 -- Katherine Smith
it is difficult and heart breaking to watch our Dine' mothers, grandmothers, fathers, and grandfathers cry and grieve. And yet they tell us it is important to understand our past but not to dwell on the negative. That forgiveness is a powerful tool. We are a strong people, and this is only a small chapter in our LEGACY.
I feel for you. My heart is with all of you, and I hope with all of my soul that something will give. That some good-hearted people in power will find the errors of their ways and return the lands to their rightful owners. God knows that they did a far better job of taking care of it than us Wasichus. Please give your grandmother a big hug from me. I was friends with Thomas Banyacya, Roberta Blackgoat and Pauline Whitesinger, and I learned a lot from them. Your grandmother is a treasure.
my grandmother lives "illegally" on her own land, she does sustain herself with her weavings and her sheep. our family has been very fortunate that we have not been forced to move!!! i would be truely devastated if that had ever happened. as of right now, everything is tied up in court, hopefully soon we will win back what was rightfully our's to begin with and bring life back to the land.
i live on the native place of hopi/navajo land, i have only one thing for peabody and thier friends, an M-16, an AK-47 and a lot of really good people to look up to.
Peabody was granted extension to mine in 1995, so it does continue. Efforts to repeal section 10 (known as Bennett Freeze) of 93-534 were halted with the republican government. Last year Obama signed the law repealing it, unfortunately it comes 40 years too late but it does allow the tribal people to claim financial assistance to rebuild. Hopefully they will get better support this time. Wishing you all well.
washington only tells lies to alllll the people that live in america! They take and take and take, they make everyone their slaves! Any other race watching this besides the indigenous peoples of america, you better believe you are not free either!!! Thank you for posting this, they sure dont teach this in any school, and the natives i know in the city dont talk about this either!
we have simular toruble in our race. the history is important for the grandchildren, but we also need to trade in the relevent for survival, if we refse to adapt we are accepting our fate, by devine or by design.
Thank you for posting this powerful out spoken documentary. Yes, it made me cry, and made me also think how can I get involved. This is an eye opener to me, and my family. This is not taught in schools, or in books. Thank you for teaching me what has happen on our Dine Nation. Thank you.
DICTATORSHIP, LEADERSHIP.. what else is said... everything evolving the system is all messed up! Politicians will do anything/say anything for what they can get. They always say what should be done for the people, but is that always true. No as native american we need to prove our warrior side and show, how it would feel. If there ever occurs, that we run out of coal. natural resources, that we rely on everyday- i wouldnt mind living the way our ancestors did. THE MOVIE HAS AN IMPACT! I LOVE IT
these people suffered so much already what the hell do they want from them?
if it is so easy to relocate then maybe that congressman should leave everything behind and put a tent somewhere in woods and see how he would survive asshole. this is not democracy it is dectatorship!!!!
I do hope that civilized world as we know it will came to an end... That way this ANGELS will survive until the end of the earth... God I hate civilization!!!!!!!!!!
That evil. That Indigenous people have known and suffered unimaginably. Is here now. And many white people are beginning to know about it. It is an evil without any soul, feeling. It is AWFUL to know about.
We all--whatever colour-- must now hold hands against it! Expose all its doing. Every cranny.
This video is very powerful. I enjoyed watching it. I enjoyed it not in the sense of the horrible things that were done to the Hopi and Navajo's but in the sense of the powerful message that was passed to the world.
Politicians are psychopaths.

Evil takes many forms.
The wasicu way of life is falling down. America is dying of greed and of consumation.
What will we have left to our children?
I pray a future.
