Hi Safire! Just asking about the helicopter alterations! There is one hand trick that looks like the helicopter but sort of wraps the body of the hooper really fast. How is that done? Thanks for all your videos! ;)
i learnt this trick as "lasso", & the trick i call "helicopter" is the 2 hoops above your head going at alternate times. jut you know in case any of you were wondering...... ^___^
I love Sandra! She has taught me everything I know through her youtube tutorials! I admire her so much! She breaks it down better than anyone else I've watched. Thanks!
I was curious how long you have been hooping? i want to start to hoop now and your tricks look amazing. Did you have any problems at the beginning or felt down because you didn't get the move right or your hoop fell off your wrist?
great videos by the way. gonna use them to learn the cool stuff :)
we all drop our hoops babe......that is a sign that our bodies are learning something new. So if anything you should be excited! Every time the hoop falls your body has learned just a little bit more ;) Stay happy and don't give up!
Just a question...where do you buy hoops!? Noob I know, but I think it's beautiful and amazing and I neeeed to learn! So...any help? I live in calgary...but I mean. Where are they normally sold, online?
I just got a hoop a few days ago and I know basically nothing. Your videos are awesome. I've been watching all of them.
I had a question if you have a second. I sorta messed up the math when I got my hoop, and it's a LITTLE big. It's workable, for sure, but a little big, it goes slightly above my belly button.
Do you think I'm gonna have trouble? Should I get a smaller one or do you think it's workable?
That's actually a good size for beginners. My first hoop came high than my chest (that was probably much bigger than I needed)
You do have the option of cutting it and rejoining it. You can reduce the size as you improve too, but keep in mind that it's always good to have a giant beginner hoop around for when you're learning new tricks. Even advanced hoopers should use a beginner hoop when learning a new trick. It helps a lot.
I don't think that's it. YouTube doesn't source from our computers every time. Once it's uploaded it's there for good.
What likely happened is it was removed because I don't have rights to the music. I had my Boonstock video removed from Facebook for this reason but it's been approved for YouTube.
This is a great series of videos! My kids like your style and find your instructions easy to follow, so thanks for helping to make homeschool phys-ed so awesome.
SaFire you rock! Just started learning your hula tricks and you're an ace teacher. I can't wait till I get slick at it like you. Thanks for taking the time to make these.
I must be guy No. 3 zillion to say this, but what the heck...
would you marry me? XD
Can't blame me for trying...
good moves girl keep on rocking. I put your Misery Business video as ringtone on my cellphone :), makes me smile everytime i get a call, thnx for that.
i make my hoops out of PVC piping:D It works really well :D How do you decorate yours? Do you just paint it? Lol put colorful tape on it? Please reply :)
I had a question... Is there a big difference in performance and difficulty when using a weighted work out hoop?
dennasaurr 1 year ago
@dennasaurr Yes. Weighted hoops will slow down your ability to do tricks. You want one that is large in diameter but not necessarily really heavy.

why can't I do this?? I must have weak wrists or something, bc I can't hold up the hoop during isolations either!! so frustrating!

it is possible the vid isn't working because you moved the video on your computer from the place where you downloaded it at first.
