Of course i am not knowledgable of Islam as I am not religious so I can only judge by what is presented to me via media and friends of mine who are from Islamic countries. Some of them were oppenly abused, raped and had to scape their countries.

Looking good is not against modesty. In our belief Allah loves looking good, being clean and tidy for human. Being a religious muslim I can certainly say these pictures have nothing disagreable to Islam. Maybe Islam's modesty is different than western modesty?!
The real "quesiton" here is what do you mean by modesty or what you "expect" muslim women to look like. I suggest you looking these pictures again without your prejudices about Islam and you will see clearly.

They are not a substitute when you are not getting any sunlight. Same as taking cod liver oil, eating dairy products, they are a boost only. Humans live in the sun, we need the sunlight on our bare skin to be heathly. Of course overdoing it and burning ourselves can lead to skin cancer, but lack of it is even worse. :)

Even when they're fully covered men find them attractive simply because they are a mystery. Not all sources agree with Bukhari about Ayesha's age, Bukhari's Hadith were not collated until 300-odd years after Muhammad's death. Other sources give Ayesha's age as being 16 at marriage and 19 at consummation. Even if her age were 6 / 9, the custom of taking child brides was a part of Middle-Eastern culture. The Jews practised it as well as many of the other nations in the Middle-East and remember too that Mary of Nazareth's age was probably around the 12-14 mark.

Her older sister 'Asma was 27 or 28 at the time of the Hijra (the time the Muslims migrated from Makkah to Madinah) so A'isha had to have been 17 or 18 then. As Aisha and Muhammad got married in the first or second year of the Hijra, that meant that A'isha was 17, 18 or 19 at the time of her marriage. Now how does that make Muhammad a "pedophile"?

I thought muslim women wore hijab to be modest? The definition of the word modest is - free from vanity, egotism, boastfulness. I never could figure out what was so immodest about showing one's hair...I was raised in an _extremely_ strict Christian denomination, for which modesty was one of the top priorities...it required a headcovering, but most women only wore a small cap so that their heads were covered whilst praying (a Biblical thing)...
