There is a misconseption about the difference of scrubbing and whipping

When you scrub you turn the bike to the side to dissipate the rebounding force to the side, this doesnt allow the suspension to compress and rebound cuasing you to stay lower and keep your speed. You can also slide the bike off the face if the conditions are right.
