"The American challenge in leading the world is compounded by our Constitution… either we are going to have to rethink our Constitution, or we are going to have to rethink our process of making decisions.” - Newt Gingrich
Executive Orders over riding the Constitution which is absolutely un Constitutional. And Obama did not over turn these executive orders..go figure nor put his ass up for an investigation..What gives people?
Bush showed great leadership on 911. He covered up the crime for the Rockefeller family and rest of the banking elite. He was the puppet of puppets. The fascist police state that the US has become would never have been possible without W Bush and his traitorous family of Nazi money launderers and sell outs.
The President nor congress have authority to take any liberty from anyone unless by probable cause upon conviction and trial by jury of one's peers.Period! one cannot waive a right except upon full disclosure and consent. This is treason pure and simple and is punishable by hanging by the neck till dead. Look in the USC and CFR.Its our right ,our duty to abolish or overthrow a govt which fails in securing our personal liberties,We have amnesia we are the boss all authority and credit is from us!
Anything can be used as a weapon to harm America, including the Constitution. Words can be twisted into a noose that strangles freedom.
Love must rule our nation. We must interpret the Constitution as we interpret the Bible -- with love -- so neither can be used as a weapon.
Religious and political warfare have cast deep shadows of fear across our brave land. We must have the courage to stand up and speak out for freedom. Participate in your government.
Of course he would say this, he's in the globalist mafia.
The constitution does not vest government in the authority to make laws over the people. It is explicit and gives them power only over taxes, the government itself, the military, corporations and foreign affairs.
If people would actually read the fucking thing, the entire country would know this. They also do not have the power to amend it by creating ADDITIONS. Only amend what is already written. The Bill of Rights, is LEGISLATION!
Anyone who says the Constitution is outdated and antiquated and that it should be replaced is guilty of HIGH TREASON and should be hung in the street!!
bush jr. was and is a stuffed shirt. he is part of the problem. the problem ? elitism. he is a worm. he is a puppet , daddy bush guided his entire tenure, GET THE OIL. get the power. elitism is the problem and has been since the industrial revolution ! The elitist who ridded us of the gold standard and created various bubbles, to the goldman suchs installment in the white house, all add up to: elitism. Cant wait till A L L the elititst try and slip Jesus a cool mill$ to get into heaven LOL!
The Constitution is more than just our rights, it set limits to the power of the government. So if the government does not follow the Constitution it has no limit to it's power. Then you will find you have lost your Constitutional Rights.
@0HollyHood0 the correct answer is c) no difference. What matters is the content and so it's irrelevant who wrote it. If the content is good and (more importantly) you know it applies to you, then that's all good, is it not?
@IppatsuTensei88 There is no correct answer, considering the fact that the topic of discussion is subjective. Why are you defending a piece of paper which is meant to keep you in shackles like a slave till the day you die? Are you that foolish that you cannot choose right-from-wrong without a piece of paper that has restrictions written on it? Do you not realize that the constitution was written by a slave owner and signed by slave owners? Why are you supporting slave owners for your own "good"?
@0HollyHood0 What? You are misrepresenting my case. Do I have to answer all your questions or just your the non-fallacious ones? Argument is objective - so lets use that instead of discussion. You presume I support slave owners based on a list of logical fallacy. "...which is meant to keep you in shackles..." where are you getting this notion? Don't know about the constitution but the statutes in particular apply to citizens and persons of the State. If you want to break free, don't be a citizen
@IppatsuTensei88 If someone supports the holocaust then they also support Hitler. Therefore, since you support the constitution, you support slavery. Were our "founding fathers" not slave owners? Weren't the authors of the constitution slave owners? I thought you wanted an argument, but instead, you tell me, "If you want to break free, don't be a citizen".
@0HollyHood0 haha, do you know what a person is, legally speaking? Your argument is flawed, you claim I support slavery, which somehow followed on from talking about the constitution... maybe you could explain the logic behind that - It was (possibly) wrote by slave owners therefore it MUST be about slave ownership, since this seems central to your argument. As I said earlier, if it's about slave ownership then that would be in it's content irrespective of who wrote it.
@0HollyHood0 I've no comment on this particular "slave owners' law" as I'm not american and haven't read their constitution, and yet it is possible what you say is true.
@IppatsuTensei88 Yes it is true, you can look it up yourself. The constitution is also sexist and racist. Because it does not include women and black people. It was written for white slave owners. And yet, to this day, people still live by that piece of paper. It is a shame.
@0HollyHood0 "Look it up"? I was talking about it being true that you can support a slave owners law, and not support slavery! For one think, I've heard of man being used as a unisex word, furthermore here we have an Interpretation Act which states that "A word importing the masculine gender shall be read as also importing the feminine gender". Although it is likely that the constitution originally didn't include women or black people as these were included later by amendments 19 and 15.
@IppatsuTensei88 So taking a slave owner's law and fixing it is O.K. with you!? Why not take Hitler's idea and just fix it? Lets add amendments to Hitler's "law"!
@0HollyHood0 For the reason that hitler's idea's were based on racism. Oh I believe I was misspelling something which may clear up our differences - I should be saying slave owners' law, a law by a slave owner(s) and not a law concerning slave owners. That should clear things up :)
@0HollyHood0 Dude, it was the constitution, what has that got to do with slave owners? Whether or not it was slave owners who wrote it is irrelevant. You have no case. If you have a problem with it just look at amendment 13. Unless you have anything further to add I suggest you go somewhere and cry in a corner.
@IppatsuTensei88 Judging by your reasoning: If a pedophile is a child day-care center owner, then him being a pedophile is irrelevant to him owning the center.
@0HollyHood0 ... not the same thing, man. That's like asking a kleptomaniac if he wouldn't mind holding your rolex while you went swimming! What you are talking about is a matter of trust in a situation where it would be very unwise to do so... Example - a slave owner writes a law saying it's mandatory for every person of a group to eat peas once a week - Simple example. I may support that law, and where does supporting slavery come into it - IT DOESN'T. If my logic is wrong PLEASE let me know
@IppatsuTensei88 You clearly don't know how to move forward in an argument. You take nothing of what i have written into account, it is like this is the first comment i made to you. I explained everything in detail in my previous comments, and yet; you still don't understand.
@0HollyHood0 You're clearly a deluded mong. I've just proven that just because a slave owner may make a law it doesn't follow that law must be about slavery. What argument? I've picked holes in your argument this entire time. You have no argument.
Bush and this asshole General are two of the domestic enemies that I swore my oaths to defend against, they both should be hanged by the neck until dead for high treason which is the punishment on the books for these crimes. I'm so pissed right now ,I'd gladly buy the rope and and throw the trapdoor lever, and sleep well the same night.
Bush SUCKS for expanding the Federal Government. He is no conservative. He's just another politician who shits on the Constitution, expands the Federal Government, rapes our liberty, and pushes for a Global Community at the expense of our National Sovereignty.
everyone look up the uniting for peace resolution of the united nations, it supersedes article VI of the constitution of the United States by LAW OF THE WORLD. We've already become a world government.....
"Presidents, when they acquire power, rarely return it to the people." And this is what has happened over the decades. The executive branch has expanded to imperial proportions, but so many seem to think it's something new with the current president.
ron is the constutionalist man.....dam i wish i was american so i could participate in revolutipn oh well i guess ill just have to look over the fence....good luck cuz. u have an epic battle coming up .....must be stopped from the inside ......willingly...peaceably......they want to get rid of the net....its our only power.....a catalist. imagine a life under the constitution real rights and liberties not these fake ones we live under now.....why arethey so scared?
Did I miss it? did G.W. say "just a piece of paper"? I guess I missed it. Let me go back and check it again........ No, not there! what the.......? Olbermann prefers a president that despises the constitution. It is always funny to watch these socialists rebuke the non-conservative Bush for behaving like them
The cure to this disease is to consider Ron Paul for president in 2012. It's time we focus on saving what is left of our civil liberties, then work on getting them all back! The Constitution (word for word) is the backbone of all things good in America.
No person held to service or labor in one state, under the laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in consequence of any law or regulation therein, be discharged from such service or labor, but shall be delivered up on claim of the party to whom such service or labor may be due.
Fortunately there has been some progress to change those terrible things. But it is just laws.
Also you fail to mention the 13th Amendment of the Constitution which abolished any and all forms of slavery. "Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation"
I really despise communism & can't bear to read Marx or Engels. No, my views have nothing to do with the USSR - if by the you mean communism - but r quite different. And I despise the American system just as much, because both exploit their people.
"any and all forms of slavery" - then what is "involuntary servitude...as punishment for a crime"?
Prison slave labour, which began as the chain gangs in 1866 & continue in CA, OR & other states. That's slavery & it's allowed.
You miss the part I was trying to point out to you. "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, EXCEPT as a punishment for crime(AKA: Community Service) whereof the party shall have been duly convicted(Key Word), shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."
Prisoners working on the side of the road, normally are working off their prison sentence. Our system is not perfect, but it's far better than any other that has ever existed.
Don't believe me. Check Douglas Blackmon (Wall Street Journal reporter - not "liberal") who won the Pulitzer Prize in nopn-fiction in 2009 "Slavery by another name"
Community service is separate - this is the systematic use of unpaid & forced labour to work for private companies ie "Prison Blues" jeans. Goes back to the "Chain gangs" from 1866 in which many blacks were imprisoned for nothing & murdered.
This affects all races & if you google this, U'll see it's no BS.
Not doubting it's going on, but you can't blame The U.S Constitution for it. If anything ignoring the Constitution is the sole reason for the all the corruption in the Federal, State, and Local Governments.
I blame those who wrote that article 1866 & those who deny it now
the US has 2,3 million prison - the largest in the world & mostly for drug offences (not violence). The cheap stuff gets u long sentences but not the expensive stuff. jail doesn't solve poverty, it makes it worse - who hires a convict?
To some that is "sacred" paper from god not to me. But where is the anti-corruption clauses in it? dems & reps ignore it - yes - but that wpuld solve our problems? how?
I just wanted to say 1) thx for ur civil comments 2) u seem interested in truth, so that's y i responded
But this video misleads. Bush may have called it just "a piece of paper", but so did James Madison. He said it was "parchment paper". As in it means nothing if it's not enforced. I can send u info on that.
What gets me is 1) these rich guys designed the senate to protect their wealth & we're supposed to care what they 'thought'? The population never had referendum on it. y?
@SeraphimPwnsU I don't have Constitutional rights...I don't get my rights from other men, I get them from God. My right to eat, drink, sleep is just as given as the right to travel, speach and to defend myself. You can not make a legal document apply to somebody that does not exist. At the time it was written, none of us existed.
I love our Constitution, which grew like a strong tree trunk out of Creation's strongest roots -- God's love. From the Constitution, America has branched out into a beautiful tree -- but this tree must be tended gently and must grow in a balanced, natural way. And this tree must be flexible enough to withstand storms. Please help to tend this tree peacefully. "Blessed are the Peacemakers." ~ Jesus Christ
Do you want to see how you're really going to die? Check out my group on Facebook, "The Tea Party Truther" and look into everything especially hyperinflation. Wake up!
wasnt the constitution written over 200 years ago. At that time they still burned witches, believed in the loch ness monster and believed that the world was created a few thousand years ago. With this in mind do u think u should update your fuckin constitution
@smith077906 the constitution has nothing to do with witches or the loch nes monster the constitution was meant to keep the peoples liberty's intact and not the government power to control the people those ideas never change its always been about the power of the people and not all believers in the constitution believe in bullshit religion the sad thing is that republicans and some democrats push the idea that our forefather believed the people should believe in christianity and the bible
@Dubstepblast heres a quote from one of our founders; Thomas Jefferson, religous beliefs are all alike founded on fables and mythology. Millions of innocent men, women, and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined, and imprisoned. What has been the effect of thiscoercion? To make one half the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth."
@smith077906 listen its not the fourth amendment its the second amendment. If guns are outlawed then we will have problems with criminals having guns and not the people there is sometimes corrupt government officials look at places like siera leon africa and many other nations we have a right to protect ourselves from these types of problems look at the big picture and dont google information and learn your constitution be independent from the media im not part of the left right paradyme
@smith077906 If obama is for the people why is he for the same lobbyists bush was. Expanding government endless spending and now he started a war in pakistan. He sets new regulation on thing that you think help us but it makes it so big time money makers and the federal reserve cannot be held accountable with no transparency. Where is the stimulus money going can you tell me that on a factual bases.
Even when olberman gives both sides it's with left biased sarcasm and then almost grudgingly. It seems to be some perosnal crusade to slander every conservative he can while making excuses for bad behaviour on the left. I watched Olberman for a while he has a nice style but became just tooo caustic to keep watching.
Has Obamageddon repealed the patriot act???....NO!! But he voted to reauthorize it three or four times and then signed it himself as POTUS expanding its unconstitutional powers!!
Has Obamageddon repealed anything Bush did???...NO!!! well except for the tax cuts he's letting expire at the end of the year! which will be the largest tax hike in history!!!!!
So what the fuck has "CHANGED" as it applies to Obamageddon????...NOTHING!!!!!!!
HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED THAT WHEN THEY ARE READY TO GET YOU BEHIND A NEW LEADER (AND READY TO START TRASHING THE OLD ONE) THE MEDIA GETS THE "GO AHEAD" FROM UP ABOVE TO NOW SPEAK HONESTLY ABOUT ISSUES AND QUOTE THE CONSTITUTION. THEY SUDDENLY SOUND LIKE THE CONSPIRACY THEORISTS THAT THEY ARE MAKING FUN OF RIGHT NOW. BUT REMEMBER- THEY ONLY DO IT AT KEY MOMENTS. AND ONLY TO FURTHER THE AGENDA OF GETTING YOU BEHIND A NEW ADMINISTRATION THAT THEY HAVE "PRE-APPROVED". THEN THE HONESTY STOPS AGAIN.
@speakoutbrad this clip is VERY old... your claims dont really apply here. if you ever watched the show (and not complain on short clips on youtube) he DOES talk about both sides.... unlike FOX
Bush didn't do a horrible job and Obama isn't a lot different from him. It's just that the press was all over Bush's ass. It's always different when a democrat is in office though. The President can do nothing wrong then. . . ...
Great video! Should be very eye-opening to alot of people. The Obama administration is no different though. Everyone reading this needs to understand that the EXACT SAME tactics are being used by our current illegal president. He has appointed criminals and Wall Street bankers in all available positions. And even created czars to make up NEW positions. To fill with more criminals of course.
Wow... you idiots are STILL on this video arguing about something that is LONG gone and was uploaded SIX YEARS ago?? And even if bush never DID say it, he was still a fuckup in every sense of the word. America was the laughing stock of the planet when that asshole was in office and now some dude who, apart from his race and political party, isnt completely unlike him - is trying to reverse the world-view damage Bush and Cheny did.. all while keeping up the status quo.
@Mrcharliebobo i made that post over a month ago to a video thats been around for years... please do yourself a favor and take a plugged-in toaster with you next time you take a shower.. which will probably be weeks from now.
@Mrcharliebobo thanks for proving to whomever sees this video from this point on that you are, in fact, a moron. congratulations. im done. feel free to say assclown one more time for good measure. bravo to your impressive vocabulary as well. eloquence is dead and youve got your hand down your pants, beating the corpse with a stick with the free hand.
@Mrcharliebobo is that all you can say? assclown? watch?v=jWmUnU7HS-I its not hard to find, if you would stop using middle school antics to try and bully people and actually did some searching you wouldn't be hated so much by everyone who reads your comments. and this video doesnt even touch on the US reputation being untarnished bit by bit. you need to get off of glenn beck's scrotum sack and out of sara palin's moose meat wizard sleeve and PAY ATTENTION.
People make me laugh so hard goin on about "God given rights".No such thing as rights.Rights are an imaginative idea thought up by regular men,not God.
@youngdrodeau Fuck you! Don't talk about the Constitution like that! You fucking retard! Nobody is taking away MY rights! If they come in my house, I will fucking KILL at least one or two of them. Come on, man! Get with it! And don't give up so easy. And especially don't trash our Constitution just because you feel everything is hopeless. It's not.
Why dont you morons look into the Obama staff? Its not just a rumor that many are Communists, and Marxist. And as far as the Constitution, I have heard several Obama admin, say We dont check the constitution before we create a bill! WTF?
Well fuck me sideways; Bush said something I agree with, even if I'm liberal.
Seriously people, it is just a piece of paper. We've attached so much mythology and emotional attachment to this parchment that we essentially treat is as a god.
For example: just because the 2nd Amendment exists, does not mean it's an inalienable right that exists for all men, like free speech; it's more or less the product of the time the document was written, when invasion from England was a very real threat.
@BLARGHALT Are you kidding me! ALL of the rights in the Bill of Rights are given from our creator and no one on earth can take them away. ALL OF THEM, including that scary! 2nd one, are human rights. I think you have one word mixed up, you didn't mean to say liberal, you meant idiot. But they might be the same.
Of course, that's assuming god exists, and of course people can take them away. That's why totalitarianism is not a governmental system you want to live under.
I like how people think the 2nd Amendment is for overthrowing the government if the people are unhappy with it, which would be pretty much impossible now.
IM TIRED DAT DER GUBBMIT
*Grabs guns, gathers armed mob with guns, marches toward DC*
@BLARGHALT So you get to choose which rights are an inalienable as a consequence of our humanity? It seems that you in fact believe that the government bestows rights based on prevailing sentiment... or more accurately.. YOUR sentiment.
You are not a forward looking intellectual as you believe, but a tyrant. You believe you know better than others and wish to remove specific freedoms from individuals you do not think they deserve.
I was saying that we've developed a cult of personality around a parchment, which is a pretty cool accomplishment for an inanimate object.
Bah, it's hard to put into words. What I'm saying is that we put privelages and rights on the same level and assume they're both given to us by some distant deity because they're in the same document.
I really doubt that the congressional pay raises and gun rights are not below freedom of speech.
Come on, folks. BUSH is a puppet of the Fascist Globalist bankers who have taken over the US almost DE FACTO. When Bretton Woods TREATY was signed, a Fascist Supra-Sovereign state was created. Look at the TREATY especially ARTICLE 7 whereby the bankers are the sovereign. BUSH was just trying to solidify what was already quasi-legally in place. ALTHOUGH i believe IF ENOUGH OF YOU become Self Governing again, YOU CAN REPEAL THIS UNCONSTITUTIONAL, ILLEGITIMATE Treaty!!
To late for words, Dem's have tested the grit of America, zip happend!?
So they just keep pushing. It will take guts to put congress and the President under house arrest for subverting the constitution! Let the supreme court pick up the pieces!
But any more ignorance of those watching the gates to Washington will be the end of this country! We cannot keep turning away! Who is in charge of the constitution when it's under defiance!!?? No body!?
My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND, which is the former GESTAPO. I recorded more than 100 videotapes which ended up in the legal system. My brother was tortured during 1.5 years despite several legal procedures pending. Markus Bott was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage, linked on my channel, and our book Der Totalitäre Staat. If my homepage disappears, the BND will have assassinated me as well.
The constitution cannot grant, deny, prevent, or make anything happen. Why? Because it is a piece of paper. The only thing it gives you is a piece of paper. The writing on the paper only serves as guidelines, as a reminder, of what we should and shouldn't do. It cannot enforce itself. If it was destroyed, what would happen to your liberties? Would they disappear? What if only half of the constitution was burned? Would you only have 1/2 of your liberties? These are questions that you need to ask
okay America this should be enough to wake you up and Question What is going on. We have already tortured Iraq citizen agent the Geneva accord. We broke international law. So now killing American is against the 5Th. So the Constitution that I have a copy is no more. So I should just take it into the bathroom and wipe my ass with it right? Just a question But I need to know what is more valuable toilet paper or the Constitution? Bowe Babble
Typical Liberal argument. Never points out exactly what part of the Constitution was violated. Says this is unprecedented....what about Lincoln? He violated the Constitution several times. Didn't he suspend Habeas Corpus? I thought only Congress could do that in times of Rebellion (Article 1 section 9).
I love the hypocracy! Olbermann suggests Bush trashed the Constitution but argues for socialized health care. Where does the Constitution give Congress that power??
That thinking is part of the problem. The Left/Right arugment is a distraction from the fact that BOTH sides undermine the consitution and SHOULD NOT BE!
Obama did it, Bush did it, Clinton did it, Bush (Sr,) did it, Reagan did it, Carter did it!!! See the pattern!
Firstly, The constitution does not grant us anything; it's a piece of paper, it can't do that. Secondly, they are not rights, they are liberties. Rights imply something that is innate and can't be taken away. Liberties are an agreement to a fiction. The fiction is law; laws do not prevent you from doing things, the only thing keeping you from disobeying them is your agreement to the existence of that fiction. I'm not advocating crime, just ironing out the details.
You are right about one thing, it does not grant us anything. What it was designed to do is retrain the government; to keep government from infringing on civil liberties. Having civil liberties keeps us from living in tyranny!
exactly why we should support liberty candidates like Peter Schiff, Rand Paul, RJ Harris, and Adam Kokesh. They speak the truth and RESPECT the constitution. Check them out.
in 1787 some of the most brilliant men to ever assemble in one place spent weeks on a two page document testing each word before setting it to paper as a testament to the nobility of man and the rights that we are forever entitled to , some think that the constitution evolves if that were so man would have grown two heads by now the way we have ematiated the document, we have moved wrongfully to teaching case law in schools instead of constitutional law we must return to the Constitution

George Bush was absolutely correct to say that: it is just a piece of paper. What does it mean? What authority is behind it? Where do we get liberty from?
So many people claim they are patriots fighting for liberty, when they have no clue what liberty is, nor do they have any idea that most of the 'campaign for liberty' folks are simply promoting communism, and they don't even know it.
@SHAMSHAM1090 We tea partiers wont get fooled again. I didn't vote for George W, and didn't vote for Obama. I voted for Chuck Baldwin. He didn't win, or even get noticed, but I didn't wase my vote on the loosers who are running down this great country.
We can never find justice at the hands of corrupt judges. (See YouTube videos) Judge to Judge on Illegal Payments to Judges / Evil Triangle of Court Corruption / Richard Fine / Dr Shirley Moore /SBX 211. The fight to end this title wave of corruption in our country must start with the corrupt judges. We can not bring evidence of corruption to corrupt judges. Los Angeles Superior Court judges are illegally and unconstitutionally taking 50,000.00 each for a total of 23 million per year.

Members or society are not obligated to support one another at the point of a gun having their property stolen from them by a tyrannical government. I'm a sick and tired of you entitled, parasitic, freeloading leeches. Please join with the other parasites and form a socialist cooperative instead of sucking the life out of the productive.
2242bzo - at the risk of my own liberties, I have to say that I agree with you on your comment, although I do feel they should have a quick and speedy trial prior to the execution.
If you think Government should operate within the boundaries provided by our Constitution then you should tell your Representatives to sign on to Co-Sponsor HR 450 & S 1319, the 'Enumerated Powers Act'.
H.R.450 (House Version) & S. 1319 (Senate Version)
"Title: To require Congress to specify the source of authority under the United States Constitution for the enactment of laws..."
most amazing thing about the constitution is that there is no ammendment to provide free healthcare to all US citizens - a basic right for every other civilised country I know of.

Well, the Declaration of Independence affirms we have the right to "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. We can't have any of those if we have a life threatening illness but can't afford to see a doctor. "...members of a society are obligated to serve and protect each other." --Steffie Woolhandler, MD
There are things called positive and negative rights. A negative right means x can't prevent you from doing y. A positive right, like, for example, a "right to have an education" or a "right to healthcare", or even, in finland's case, a "right to high speed internet" means that x has to force w to pay for you doing y.
Don't you think people got sick in 1789? If so, why didn't the founding fathers include healthcare in the constitution?
The Constitution doesn't say that 2 and 2 is four either, but we know it is. A lot of things aren't included in it. They couldn't be expected to think of everything. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't have a national health care system. This is a democracy and the majority wants it. End of discussion.
then if the majority wishes to end gay marriage you should allow them to do so. also more people strongly oppose the democrat healthcare plan than strongly support. basically your statement is silly as you ignore the tenth amendment
No, not end of discussion, this is a republic. If it was a straight up "democracy" built purely on majority rule, there is nothing to prevent a majority of people voting yes on taking the minority's money, thus creating a steady slide into socialism. Read any of the founding father's writings and you'll see they were violently opposed to such an idea.
Not to mention the very practical reasons for why this is national suicide!! There're better ways to deal with healthcare, esp by lowering costs.
It is both a constitutional republic and a representative democracy. National suicide? Yes that's what we're doing alright, but not because of socialism. It's the unregulated, predatory capitalism that's destroying us. And we will never be "lowering costs" in health care as long as we have a for-profit health insurance racket system run by a bunch of price gouging gangsters.
I say any politician who disregards our magnificent Constitution, or who disregards our rights......shoot him or her right in the fucking head. End of fucking story.
we don't have rights, we have privileges.. george carlin.... type imbatman57 in youtube and talkshoe.com...peace from england

SAVING FREEDOM
Anything can be used as a weapon to harm America, including the Constitution. Words can be twisted into a noose that strangles freedom.
Love must rule our nation. We must interpret the Constitution as we interpret the Bible -- with love -- so neither can be used as a weapon.
Religious and political warfare have cast deep shadows of fear across our brave land. We must have the courage to stand up and speak out for freedom. Participate in your government.
Let the American Eagle fly!

The Constitution is a piece of paper that HUNDREDS have and will signature in the bloody ink siphoned from the corpse of tyranny.
Ravengaurd6 5 months ago
Of course he would say this, he's in the globalist mafia.
The constitution does not vest government in the authority to make laws over the people. It is explicit and gives them power only over taxes, the government itself, the military, corporations and foreign affairs.
If people would actually read the fucking thing, the entire country would know this. They also do not have the power to amend it by creating ADDITIONS. Only amend what is already written. The Bill of Rights, is LEGISLATION!

@2012politicsforall Did you know that the Constitution was written by Freemasons?
0HollyHood0 1 year ago
@0HollyHood0 does that make it more or less valid?
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 Less valid.
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 the correct answer is c) no difference. What matters is the content and so it's irrelevant who wrote it. If the content is good and (more importantly) you know it applies to you, then that's all good, is it not?
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 There is no correct answer, considering the fact that the topic of discussion is subjective. Why are you defending a piece of paper which is meant to keep you in shackles like a slave till the day you die? Are you that foolish that you cannot choose right-from-wrong without a piece of paper that has restrictions written on it? Do you not realize that the constitution was written by a slave owner and signed by slave owners? Why are you supporting slave owners for your own "good"?
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 What? You are misrepresenting my case. Do I have to answer all your questions or just your the non-fallacious ones? Argument is objective - so lets use that instead of discussion. You presume I support slave owners based on a list of logical fallacy. "...which is meant to keep you in shackles..." where are you getting this notion? Don't know about the constitution but the statutes in particular apply to citizens and persons of the State. If you want to break free, don't be a citizen
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 If someone supports the holocaust then they also support Hitler. Therefore, since you support the constitution, you support slavery. Were our "founding fathers" not slave owners? Weren't the authors of the constitution slave owners? I thought you wanted an argument, but instead, you tell me, "If you want to break free, don't be a citizen".
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 I made a mistake - you're a douchebag who isn't capable of an argument.
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 Don't insult the person, insult the presentation of the argument. Scumbag.
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 haha, do you know what a person is, legally speaking? Your argument is flawed, you claim I support slavery, which somehow followed on from talking about the constitution... maybe you could explain the logic behind that - It was (possibly) wrote by slave owners therefore it MUST be about slave ownership, since this seems central to your argument. As I said earlier, if it's about slave ownership then that would be in it's content irrespective of who wrote it.
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 So you support a slave owner's law, but you don't support slavery!?
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 I've no comment on this particular "slave owners' law" as I'm not american and haven't read their constitution, and yet it is possible what you say is true.
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 Yes it is true, you can look it up yourself. The constitution is also sexist and racist. Because it does not include women and black people. It was written for white slave owners. And yet, to this day, people still live by that piece of paper. It is a shame.
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 "Look it up"? I was talking about it being true that you can support a slave owners law, and not support slavery! For one think, I've heard of man being used as a unisex word, furthermore here we have an Interpretation Act which states that "A word importing the masculine gender shall be read as also importing the feminine gender". Although it is likely that the constitution originally didn't include women or black people as these were included later by amendments 19 and 15.
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 So taking a slave owner's law and fixing it is O.K. with you!? Why not take Hitler's idea and just fix it? Lets add amendments to Hitler's "law"!
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 For the reason that hitler's idea's were based on racism. Oh I believe I was misspelling something which may clear up our differences - I should be saying slave owners' law, a law by a slave owner(s) and not a law concerning slave owners. That should clear things up :)
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 The constitution was concerning slave owners! What the hell are you talking about? You don't know the facts.
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 Dude, it was the constitution, what has that got to do with slave owners? Whether or not it was slave owners who wrote it is irrelevant. You have no case. If you have a problem with it just look at amendment 13. Unless you have anything further to add I suggest you go somewhere and cry in a corner.
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 Judging by your reasoning: If a pedophile is a child day-care center owner, then him being a pedophile is irrelevant to him owning the center.
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 ... not the same thing, man. That's like asking a kleptomaniac if he wouldn't mind holding your rolex while you went swimming! What you are talking about is a matter of trust in a situation where it would be very unwise to do so... Example - a slave owner writes a law saying it's mandatory for every person of a group to eat peas once a week - Simple example. I may support that law, and where does supporting slavery come into it - IT DOESN'T. If my logic is wrong PLEASE let me know
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 You clearly don't know how to move forward in an argument. You take nothing of what i have written into account, it is like this is the first comment i made to you. I explained everything in detail in my previous comments, and yet; you still don't understand.
0HollyHood0 10 months ago
@0HollyHood0 You're clearly a deluded mong. I've just proven that just because a slave owner may make a law it doesn't follow that law must be about slavery. What argument? I've picked holes in your argument this entire time. You have no argument.
IppatsuTensei88 10 months ago
@IppatsuTensei88 Okay, so would you want Hitler to open up a daycare? After all, it has nothing to do with Nazis.

72tubecat 1 year ago
The Constitution is a pro-slavery document:
1) it allowed the slave trade
2) Article IV Section 2 Clause 3 says
No person held to service or labor in one state, under the laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in consequence of any law or regulation therein, be discharged from such service or labor, but shall be delivered up on claim of the party to whom such service or labor may be due.
Fortunately there has been some progress to change those terrible things. But it is just laws.

Because you are using an old Marxist argument over the U.S Constitution and most likely you share the same Marxist views on Capitalism, Classes, etc.
TheJosephPrice 1 year ago
@EBanonymous
TheJosephPrice 1 year ago
@TheJosephPrice
EBanonymous 1 year ago
@EBanonymous
TheJosephPrice 1 year ago
@TheJosephPrice
EBanonymous 1 year ago
@EBanonymous
Not doubting it's going on, but you can't blame The U.S Constitution for it. If anything ignoring the Constitution is the sole reason for the all the corruption in the Federal, State, and Local Governments.
TheJosephPrice 1 year ago
@TheJosephPrice
But where is the anti-corruption clauses in it? dems & reps ignore it - yes - but that wpuld solve our problems? how?
EBanonymous 1 year ago
@TheJosephPrice

For example: just because the 2nd Amendment exists, does not mean it's an inalienable right that exists for all men, like free speech; it's more or less the product of the time the document was written, when invasion from England was a very real threat.

I was saying that we've developed a cult of personality around a parchment, which is a pretty cool accomplishment for an inanimate object.

According to the constitution itself, Bush has and had the right to say that.

Where does the Constitution give Congress that power??
denbo74 1 year ago

You're someone who actually thinks. I like your post.
Riflemanm16a2 1 year ago

Exactly, charity cannot be mandatory. Volunteer charity (is there really any other kind?) is more efficient than any government program.

most amazing thing about the constitution is that there is no ammendment to provide free healthcare to all US citizens - a basic right for every other civilised country I know of.

Well, the Declaration of Independence affirms we have the right to "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. We can't have any of those if we have a life threatening illness but can't afford to see a doctor. "...members of a society are obligated to serve and protect each other." --Steffie Woolhandler, MD
arcturus33333 2 years ago
There are things called positive and negative rights. A negative right means x can't prevent you from doing y. A positive right, like, for example, a "right to have an education" or a "right to healthcare", or even, in finland's case, a "right to high speed internet" means that x has to force w to pay for you doing y.
Don't you think people got sick in 1789? If so, why didn't the founding fathers include healthcare in the constitution?
JRPeyesatsne 2 years ago
The Constitution doesn't say that 2 and 2 is four either, but we know it is. A lot of things aren't included in it. They couldn't be expected to think of everything. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't have a national health care system. This is a democracy and the majority wants it. End of discussion.
arcturus33333 2 years ago
then if the majority wishes to end gay marriage you should allow them to do so. also more people strongly oppose the democrat healthcare plan than strongly support. basically your statement is silly as you ignore the tenth amendment
jsgoodfella 2 years ago
No, not end of discussion, this is a republic. If it was a straight up "democracy" built purely on majority rule, there is nothing to prevent a majority of people voting yes on taking the minority's money, thus creating a steady slide into socialism. Read any of the founding father's writings and you'll see they were violently opposed to such an idea.
Not to mention the very practical reasons for why this is national suicide!! There're better ways to deal with healthcare, esp by lowering costs.
JRPeyesatsne 2 years ago
It is both a constitutional republic and a representative democracy. National suicide? Yes that's what we're doing alright, but not because of socialism. It's the unregulated, predatory capitalism that's destroying us. And we will never be "lowering costs" in health care as long as we have a for-profit health insurance racket system run by a bunch of price gouging gangsters.
arcturus33333 2 years ago 2
There's no amendment to provide free food to people either. Which I should think would be more important...
