  • SNSD has the version "I just wanna wish" its like this version.

  • its not really the english version. They have completely different lyric from each other

  • Que asco wey.

  • so there's a legit English version, a korean version, and a japanese version...

I just wonder if SNSD works on a full-length English album, would they use most of their hit songs (like Genie) and turn it into English, even though there's already a legit English version...?

  • @dfc123able i think that SMENT producers would rather have snsd singing their own english songs instead of turning their korean songs into english. but who knows! snsd said their going to have another full english album in febuary so maybe!

  • @Oishashow1 This song was first written in English with the title "I Just Wanna Dance". These are the "original" lyrics written for the song. The writers sold the rights of the song to two separate parties, most likely w/ a license agreement allowing the release of each version only in certain areas of the world. Even though these are the "original" written lyrics, this version is no longer considered the "original", the Korean version is w/ the Japanese version being a cover.

  • @dfc123able Actually this is actually by Nathalie Makoma, This bought by SM ent. and then Sony.

  • je vous attend devant j ai vous pour m avoir voler la chanson de nathalie que je conter voler

  • 1:33="let me feel the rhythm take me to the dance floor" -- yeah Hyoyeon's part really suit her <3 :D

  • love this!

  • i love both versions!! she really makes me "just wanna dance" haha

    SNSD ♥

  • You can't really call it this the English version. Both songs have 2 completely different meanings

  • I really don't give a f... who is singing the song ! The song is great !

Big thanks to who ever wrote Just Wanna Dance !!!

  • I think it's soooo awesome a person from the Netherlands has the same song as SNSD!! Because a lot of people from the Netherlands are also a fan from Kpop. So this is one way the Netherlands get closer to the Kpop world...

Today SNSD was also on the television in the Netherlands. They talked about the song from Nathalie and showed the SNSD version 2. I really liked that! Also SHINee and Super Junior was on the television! Awesome job! But SNSD's version is so much better!

  • @xDutchSuperJuniorFan oh seriuus! welke tv zender dan? kwam ze lang bij TMF ofzo?

  • asom song and girlz my english is not zo good haha :D great song

  • your mix is 10 times better then mine :P

I mean the video quality and editting, cause the timing of this song changes compared to snsd right :P

  • natalie's version is for the clubs.

  • Im not sure if Nathalie was the "first" one to buy the original from the composer. But since Sony did buy it for her its 100% legal.

  • I liked this version in english as well. Here in brazil at least, the radio for sure will play it =D Here people are accustomed to listen axé, pagode , Funk, dance and hip hop. So, at least in english we will listen some korean music.

  • She bought this song first though. BUt im still used to SNSD's version :L But now for the fans of this song you can sing along to it with the english ver :D

  • Btw, this is not the English version of SNSD's Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) if you guys would notice the difference between the two songs' lyrics properly.

  • nyeh, SNSD BAGS THIS SONG!. haha ^_^ but nice try. :P

  • i like both versions

  • Dude put in that Nathalie Makoma sing this song cuz SNSD/Girls Generation would do this WAAAAAAAY better....

  • true genius
