Before becoming a Rep w/ ACN I was shy and secluded...now I am much more open, respectful, patient, confident. The other Reps helped me big time - network marketing is all about finding the people that want to work with you and helping them get customers/ find a few friends or family that want to work with them. You are presupposing that I DO steal. A rep doesn't make any money from people paying the $499. One could sign up 100 new reps (that paid their $499) but unless legitimate customers are acquired, you wouldn't get a dime. There is no "stealing" going on and no "living" is being made unless you get customers like in any other business. Why all the hostility anyway? Get educated my friend. Seriously.

one more thing I should mention is, WOW, based on this video, it looks like ACN did many "IN HOME meetings"(I laugh at any idiot who wastes their time with that - at THEIR OWN HOUSE - If you pay 500, shouldn't you have an office to be at?!). I guess the Top Ranking ACN people have been saving a lot of over head going to an"independent reps" place instead of having a training center. You are comparing apples-to-oranges, my firend. ACN does NOT have brand recognition parallel to McDonald's. ACN's product is a commodity in a saturated market. I would not join ACN because most likely you will fail; the product is not unique and the brand doesn't have recognition like others in the communications industry (AT&T, Verizon, etc...)
