The part about wind circulating (which is due to hot and cold air moving *up* and *down*) for the time that 1 statement was made, it does seem to be slightly more then they were studying back then.

However, name-calling from me is pretty much never truly mean-spirited. I feel that sprinkling in the odd ad hominem keeps things more lighthearted. This isn't a formal debate, here, there's no reason not to have a bit of fun with it.
