  • Diese Maschine steht im Technik Museum Speyer

  • Chuck norris trims his beard with that plane ^_-

  • There's nothing hard at ALL about taxiing a tailwheel aircraft... the problems arise when the PILOT doesnt pay ATTENTION to what's going on outside the aircraft, as is evidenced in this video.

  • eats*

  • it is a C-3605, swiss made

  • Ummm, actually not a spitfire. Pretty obvious really, more like a 109 replica

  • More like the helicopter got in the way on the spitfire

  • the propeller is the most expensive part of a spittfire...

  • @zigastrmsek2 the most expensive spare part of any aircraft is the pilot.

  • @zigastrmsek2 who cares about the prop, he just gave a one million dollar helicopter a buzzcut!

  • Lol! He did it for the LULz

  • tat heli needs a big boy band-aid STAT!

  • I saw that plane (its not repaired) in an german museum

  • Surely it's a Vulcan?

  • Ah yes, the Mk99 Superswiss Spitfire

  • thats gonna cost

  • God your all retards, its the new 787! Thats why it's so delayed, because of this accident!

  • Wow! Spitfires had turbines in 'em! Sweet!

  • Hhhhe he he he he he he.

  • Thats not a spitfire....

  • HI MUMMY!!

  • it is a dacia solenza

  • You can hear it's a turboprop. Didn't exactly have those in 1939.

  • you got your c-36 in my helicopter!

  • I dont give a fuck what kind of plane it is, I feel sorry for it ;(

  • C-36 vs helicopter....C-36 wins :)

  • 0:06 OOOHHHHH!!!LOL

  • i thought it was an f-22 :/

  • MWAH!

  • So far, I've seen this plane called a Mustang, a Bf-109, and now a Spitfire. What's next? Lancaster? Bueller?

  • @rustyATV clearly its a b36!!!

  • @rustyATV

    CLEARLY, its a C-17 clearly.....

  • this is a clip winged

    Spitfire

  • This is not a Spitfire!

  • put this on redtube

  • wah wah waaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • And this children is why we don't drink and drive OR drink and fly

  • OOPS!!

  • Yeah that was just a kiss! More like the part of Dumb and Dumber where he "eats her face"!

  • women, get back in the kitchen, how the hell was she allowed in an airplane, let alone a car?

  • this is no spitfire.

  • Pedazo de boludoo!!!!

  • kissed?? killed haha

  • that's not a spitfire, it's a swiss C36 from WWII converted into a turboprop designed for hauling an a windbag for antiaircraft-gun training.

  • You think by now tail dragger pilots would put a camera in their spinners or wing leading edges someplace to keep an eye on where der goin eh?

Like the SUV folks with their back-up cams?

    Good idea... ya, no?

  • spitfire give us a kiss helicopter no

  • The woman who owns a Spitfire in the UK is Caroline Grace and is a converted Mk9 from a single to two seater.

  • Damn it turned that copters tail into confetti

  • where the hell did they get the ohhhhhhhh from, wii bowling?

  • the clearly pasted in "Ohhhhh" is killing me...

  • i think thats more like rape rather than a kiss

  • Spitfire's favorite food? Helicopter tail.

  • That plane does have nothing to do with Dornier, it is a F + W C3605 ex swiss air Force, the airframe was built by F+W Thun which was a national construction plant belonging to swiss army under it's first denomination C3603 powered by a Hispano engine.

From 1972 on the plane was equiped with a turbine and then flew as a target tractor for FLAB (Fliegerabwehr) training as C3605

  • That's not a spitfire.

  • @F14ace it´s a Dornier c 3602-2.

  • @F14ace I think your right, that to me does not look like a spitfire, although it is a little blurry, wings look different.

  • @nuggetsII your right mate it isnt a spitfire

  • That's not a Spitfire! It's powered by a Gas Turbine engine for a start!

  • It's a Dornier C 36! >.<

  • "Hello helicopter" *kisses* "RAPE!!!"

  • Is it me, or there's either an unusual jump in the video (from editing?) from the time the spitfire nears the heli, and when it hits, or, did the camera-person just jump out of reaction

  • @lorenzol1996

Looks like a small gap in the video. Notice the rotor blades go from one position to another in the next frame.

  • I understand the issue of tring to see over the nose while taxiing but.. I would thing the helicopter's rotar would be an indictor of "Im am getting too close".. guess not

  • dang that jetranger got raped

  • that is not a spitfire, the undercarriage is a dead giveaway

  • That was a nice snack!

  • suck it jetranger!

  • I flew a mustang, and had to taxi zig zag to see. It's a shame this happened

  • how is that a Splitfire it looks more like a BF-109 then a spiltfire

  • No it's a do-c3605.-0474tyr0-awewetr0a8wetbr0a...good lord people!!

  • it isnt a spitfire this is a turboprop plane

  • Spitfires dont kiss...hes eating that helicopter.

  • Comment removed

  • And the Osprey was born...

  • @GfCommando hahahahahah!

  • @GfCommando ROFL!!!! EPIC POST!!!

  • @GfCommando HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA

  • its never a spitfire!!!!! its a c-36 from the swiss air force!

  • @Iamtherealjerkfreak After checking Google images you appear to be correct. The long nose the low wide undercarriage, and the paint job (awful) indicate it's a C-36 from the Swiss air force. There so few Spits in airworthy condition that even for one to have its prop damaged would be a shame.

  • @Iamtherealjerkfreak to see it more precisely, it is a do-C 3605

  • @Tomi1008 the c3605 is correct! its a c 36 whit a turbo prob engine!

  • pilot: "HEY BILL, HOWS MY CLEARANCE?!?!"

bill: "YOUR DOIN GOOD *chuckling*" .....OM NOM NOM NOM pilot: "JESUS IM GONNNNA!..."

  • Actually, you can see the sun shining off of the propeller blades, right? If you watch the slow-mo part again, after it clips the ass of the heli the reflection has a gap on the spinning prop. Therefore, a blade was damaged on the prop.

  • Helicopter said, kiss my ass. Spitfire said, ok.

  • this is why planes make better air vehicles than ground vehicles.....

  • Its like cats and dogs!

    I KNEW IT!

Planes have a natural hatred for helicopters!

  • Forward visibility on most tail dragger's was, and still is a constant problem. But any survivable contact with a helicopter rear rotor is indeed rare and this it would seem is a spectacular exception where the heli took the brunt of most of the damage. Helicopter tail rotors have taken more than their fair share of movie AD's scouting remote locations and inadvertently backing into that human shredding Cuisinart while distracted!

  • @jvsantosmd it's not a Mustang either fitted with a turbo prop, I forget the actual name of the type but I believe that luger87 maybe correct when he says it's C 3605, definitely not any type of Mustang with a turbine/turboprop

  • look at that propeller it looks perfectlly fine even after causing like 40,000$ of damage to the heli

  • It's not a Spitfire, it's a Mustang. They were fitted with turbine engines by PIPER Aircraft in an attempt to relive the model.

  • Comment removed

  • Looks like a late model Seafire...

  • It's a Swiss "C 3605", army training plane !

  • @luger87 no more in service ... ^^

  • perhaps a home built replica? forgive me if i'm wrong.

  • I love the tennis gasp :)

  • Awwww =']

  • @ursavostock: it doesn't even sound like a warbird so im guessing its a tucano o something along those lines.

  • wasn't someone supposed to be guiding her?

  • Ever notice if a guy makes a balls up it's "Oh dear, what bad luck" if a woman messes things up it's "Tut, women drivers." Sad really.

  • @Truemouse Not really. If a guy crashes he is a moron just because he is a moron, if a woman crashes its just because she is a woman driver.

  • it was a woman?? now women are bad at flying and driving!!! XD

  • thats not a spitfire btw!!

  • @glenw89 Yeah what the hell is that? The gear is wrong to be a Spitfire. Doesn't look like a Mustang or a 109. Russian?

  • Whoopsie - that looked expensive.

  • Ex-Swiss Air Force EKW C-3605

  • thats what happens when two different flying machines make love <3

  • women get back to the kitchen

    jkjk xD

  • how romantic

  • that's a funny looking spitfire.....

  • @jerrycs2000 thats because it's not a spitfire it's a hurricane

  • @Videoshocker Actually it is neather its not a hurricane nor a spitfire it actually is a former swiss army plane called C-36

  • @jerrycs2000 that's becaus it's a hurricane

  • did helicopter died?

  • Why can't they kiss? The both love flying!

  • "Get outa the bloody way! Nom"

  • Where is the Spitfire?

  • that's not a spitfire =]

  • Take my damn parking spot!

  • what an idiot the pilot was clearly aware that it was there unless they have a special dissability that causes them to not see helicopters or the chopper nicked their parking space

  • @MasterBattle2000 uhh yeah, the disability is the fact that the aircraft has such a long nose, AND the pilot is pointing up at an angle, i wouldnt be surprised if he couldnt see the heli at all, or at very least, couldnt judge the distance, he should have had a ground team guiding him.

  • @emperorgrant

Your right they should've had the canopy (cockpit) open so they could see it

  • Maybe the answer has given already but this is a Swiss made F+W C-3605 Schlepp

    Look at registration like D-FOXY

  • From the front, it looks like a Mustang to me..

  • oops very sorry

  • That was not a Spitfire. It's one of 4 PA-48 Piper Enforcer's built by Piper. It is obviously based on the North American P-51.

  • It also sounds like it has a turbine engine?

  • You are correct. Piper was designing it as a FAC plane and was based on the P-51D and had a Lycoming T55-L-714A turbo-prop.

  • Tiaj Alkehol XD

  • nom nom nom nom nom

  • @Scotticus1982 Sandvich!

  • @Scotticus1982

Truly one of the funniest comments I've ever seen on YT

    ROFL

  • sweet....keeps me in buisness!

  • The Woman pilot later said sorry.

  • @happymana

You really have no need to imply that the pilot is a woman. You realise with that angle of view she was unaware of what was infront.

  • @happymana hahahaha cant stop laughing

  • @happymana isn't that special

  • @happymana there is acctually a woman pilot who owns a WWII spitfire in the UK.....

  • someone forgot to tell him ww2 is over lol

  • Not a Spitfire. Pilatus.

  • This is a C3605 build in Switzerland and used by Swiss Air Force from 1970 till 1986.

  • asshole at the controls

  • i wouldnt wanna see the bill for the damage :)

    5/5

  • thats not a spitfire, thats a swiss made pilatus, but i dont know the exakt name of it

  • Comment removed

  • not a spitefire.

  • Comment removed

  • *bing* "Hello this is Janice calling from On Star, we've just receded word you've been in a front end collision..."

  • Pilot must be from Poland.

  • or Peru

  • man i feel sorry for the pilot, so embarrassing

  • the pilot doesnt has frontal view in this kind of aircraft, the fault was from the organization that didnt care to put men to guide taxing planes. bill to then....

  • Om Nom Nom

    xD

  • hahahahahahahahahhahahhaahahahahhahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaah

  • Actually it is called "Altenrhein" because the Pilatus' piston engine is here replaced by a turboprop powerplant. That is at laest what narrators on air-shows used to explain about that particular airplane ... !

  • LOVE TAP!

  • Yep its a P2 109 or other plane has the landing gear closer to the ohter one

  • firstly thats not a spitfire, its a me109 . secondly this was a common problem, as the bonnet was so large you couldnt see over it, so taking off, landing and taxing had to be done at an angle, as best as you can achieve, so you can see in a straight line.

  • I have no idea what is that , but im pretty sure it's not Me-109 . Look at the landing gear . 109's gear closes outwards and located much closer to each other . That was known problem with Me-109 , they tended to flip over on take-off \ landing . BTW G-6 has huge air intake on left side of engine .

  • Was gonna say thats defo not a Spit...

  • nope,it's a pilatus craft,from switzerland

  • Yep it does look like Pilatus P-2

  • last used by the swiss AF as target towing aircraft

often painted with luftwaffe scheme by it's private owners

  • its a mescherschmitt me109-g6 luftwafffe plane .....nice plane!

  • Is a ME109-G6. Luftwaffe plane of Second World

    See you

  • it looks more like a russian plane to me maybe a yak they used these type of camoflouge a lot

  • Nice

  • LOL two things:

One it looks like a version of the Pilatus Porter

Two, since it's a tail dragger aircraft, there's this big-ass blind spot right down the middle of your vision, so he never would of seen the chopper.

  • lol what a fumb pilot, and NO THATS NOT A SPITFIRE, NOT EVEN A P51, WTF IS IT ANYONE KNOW>?

  • pilatus p2 from switzerland

  • it is an swiss turboprob project plane not Mustang oder something else!

  • listen to the freaking engine, and look at the thing. how anyone could confuse it for a spitfire is beyond me. it's like saying a mack truck is an f150.

  • Jet Danger...OWNED!!! Hahaha!!

  • I think that's what the audience said.

  • By the way, for those of you who might come to travel sometime in your life. And I mean outside the US, go to a place called Germany, that's in Europe (not a country, but a continent) then go to a place called Speyer. They have a nice aircraft museum with lot's of stuff you have never seen before. Among which is this aircraft, now in pristine condition, restored to it's old glory.

  • WTF

  • sinsheim is like speyer....both of them are really interesting the have things like a concord or a b-747....really nice
