  • hamachi doesn't get over 100lbs lol.

  • He's just an entertainer, definitely not a "filet master"...............

  • People it is just fish.

  • That is a tuna.

  • Morimoto, don't get in bed with the Hyatt!

  • anyone know the name of the song playing in the background?????? been looking for it desperately

  • This ain't a hamachi for your information. This is a small bluefin tuna aka maguro.

  • @hanaleifish tuna isnt that pink its a fatty hamachi

  • @copeman89 that's definitely a tuna, not a hamachi. Google hamachi and see what it looks like, totally different.

  • It is all about entertainment and not on how to fillet a tuna. lol. Sushi chef usually not knowing how to fillet a fish this size, they order the tuna from their vendors that which is already cut in pieces. He is an Iron Chef alright but not a fillet master. This is my honest opinion.

  • the hamachi is huge, but did you see that knife!!

  • dont compare him to people at the tsukigi market, they dont know how to make good food either!!! he dont need to rush cutting up his fish, its to show how to break down whole fish

  • Ahhhhh, arigato! Mooshy mooshy! A mastah fish swicer! Much ronor to him and his famiry. *bows*

  • not hamachi, very poor knife skills, the real show is at the tsukigi market, this is pure basic skill, star by name not by fact.........

  • @Ibiwild i don't think it's his knife skills, but his lack of experience cutting up a whole tuna

  • @Ibiwild this is how you know when someone is clueless! sayng that Morimoto has very poor knife skill.. do your research first! this guy is a god!

  • @Ibiwild lol. are you joking ? he is a well known master with the knife any chef that has been around him in a kitchen will attest to that ... it's not about speed, it's all about accuracy

  • This is not hamachi, but I wouldn't mind eating the collar.

  • this is not himachi (yellowtail) it is yelloFIN tuna (ahi maguro)

  • I love Morimoto, but guys from the Japan fish market can butcher a bigger tuna way faster.

  • @TommieDuhWeirdo i dont really think he was going for speed there, it was more of a show for the people....

  • @91aztecking Speed can be more a show too. You can see the people in the Japan fish market going OOOOOOO!! Lol

  • @TommieDuhWeirdo eh to every man his own....

  • @TommieDuhWeirdo but they have knives made for butchering tuna that look like swords about a yard" long so it is much faster.

  • thats Tuna

  • nice video! FYI,that's a tuna (maguro in japanese), not hamachi~

  • that's not hamachi, tuna
