He was telling the rest of the band that they were going to segue into "Dancing With Myself" at the bridge of the song. During big shows bands keep mics near the back of the stage that feed only into other band members (and audio techs/ sound board personnel's) earpieces so they can communicate and improvise on the fly. So, when he was probably saying "Dancing with Myself" at the bridge like you can see in the vid, only Tre, Mike, and Jason could hear him.

I also think it's pretty cool how you can see Tre and Mike both look at each other right after he does it, and then they nod to make sure everyone is good on the transition and timing of it. Granted, I wasn't thinking about any of this while I was rocking out at the show, but it's pretty cool to see it on video and realize that this was an unscripted moment of the concert. These guys rock.

And also, for the record, Scattered has been one of my all time favorites for (God) 13 years now. I saw them play it on the Nimrod tour in Providence (old Lupo's) and thought it was the first and last time I'd see it. And then I happened to be in the pit at this show and it was unbelievable. Razorbacks was great, but they played it in soundcheck and it wasnt a total shocker. Scattered, however, was completely out of nowhere and I didn't think they'd ever play it again.
