  • @Lukachicago19 That one was classic. Then he was at the Megalomart when it exploded and he showed up again at the support group for survivors of propane explosions w/ Hank. Probably more than those, but they are the ones I remember most.

  • Two of the Lucky ones by The Droge and Summers Blend is still the best song on Zombieland.

  • Is Chuck dead? :[

  • @metroliner89 Nope :) He's alive and kicking at 69 years old.

  • YaY!

  • they played this song in the movie right in the beginning when Columbus gets in the car at the gas station, you can only here it for a few seconds right before he finds the zombie in his back seat.

  • When was this song played in the movie?

  • I used to adore this song when little, it just made me feel... so good, of course born 1979 Bolivia I had no clue what or who it was.

Then I saw a "Freinds'" episode, heard the song sung and felt nostalgic; glad I found this vid and track...

  • I still love how they put Chuck Mangione in all those episodes of King of the Hill..

  • @TfiveR yeah... as soon as i saw the title my brain started overflowing with KOTH memories. goooooooooood times....

  • This is how you make love to a woman.

  • @drarak i don't know.. id be laughing and wanting to dance... ok.. that would be fun, so yes, i guess your right.

  • @drarak I'd just be laughing . but then i'd want to be all goofy and dance, so yes i guess your right.

  • Always loved this track -- great sound from Mangione on his horn (a flugelhorn I think -- sounds like what Miles Davis played on Miles Ahead) and the rest of the band is tight -- one of those tunes that makes you feel good (hence the title).

  • this HAS to have been a themetune from some 70's sitcom title sequence.

  • No it's actually just a stand alone jazz piece that was written in 78. It was actually a pretty big hit. I hope the fact that this song is on this soundtrack will expose it and to a younger audience, and make people want to seek out more Chuck Mangione.

  • i know its not a trumpet i was trying to be boomhuar from King of the hill th best show ever consivied and Chuck is on the show like every couple of episodes

  • IT'S NOT A TRUMPET!! oh man..

  • ah I bow down my bad :) nice hearing :D

  • lol, thanks. :)

  • He's right though, its actually a flugelhorn

  • Dang ol Chuck Mangione man dig dang man was in dang old King of the hill mang ill tell you what mang that dang old trumpet player was in like dang ol every episode

  • these thumbs down retards prolly dont get the reference, even tho its right there in your comment...

  • Ive got a good memory, and I don't remember this song lol :D..the trumpet seems familiar, but then again...it's a tRUMPET

  • It's actually not a trumpet. It's a flugelhorn. I know, who cares? But a flugelhorn is closer to the sax family. If you listen carefully, you can hear this. Just saying.

  • its nothing like a sax....

sax is woodwind...flugelhorn is high brass....

  • Completely. I just didn't feel like gettiing into that. I meant generally.

  • flugelhorn is just as the same as a trumpet, i have to know, i play one

  • Yup. If you 'unroll' the two instruments the length of a trumpet and flugel horn are the same. It's the difference in diameter of the two horns that makes the flugelhorn sound mellower and a bit 'deeper.'

My father hated CM, because he always thought the horn sounded flat compared to a trumpet. His loss. ;o)

  • but a flugelhorn is a little bit 'smoother' than a trumpet.

  • yea any sax player would break their lips on a flugelhorn haha, literally O.o\

    BTW, zombieland? wt heck! haha

  • no that song in the beginning was for whom the bell tolls by metallica

  • that wasnt on the movie

  • yes it was in the beginning

  • When he was in the car in the beginning trying to drive away at the gas station. This is the wrong version, but it's still chuck magione he was listening to.

  • oh then i rest my case lol

  • haha yea, its in for like 5 seconds, maybe 10.
